They had no idea what to say, because this seemingly casual and plebeian of a Terran turned out to be the champion of the Holy Dao Beast. Maybe it didn’t sound like a big thing but the people who managed to gain the approval of a Holy Dao Beast, they were strong.

This strength didn’t limit to just themselves, but it was something that influenced the fate of an entire race. The status of the human race now climbed up to another level thanks to Feng Yun patting Shi Lang’s shoulder, and how this young man just delegated all the responsibilities to the rest of the people without trying to horde power or pull any diplomatic shit on them. This was something rare, even they might not have been able to avoid the allure of the power this position of the strategist brought along.

Shi Lang finished talking to Feng Yun and then approached the Old Man Mana and said, "Elder Mana, I will be going back to handle some things meanwhile, I will send my best people over to communicate with you regarding the strategy. Bai, you will strategize and Darcx you will discern whether the other people are lying to us or not. I am sure they have some things that they don’t want to say on the face, but I am sure that you can find out what they are discussing in the secret."

Darcx smiled and replied, "When did you find out?"

Tong Bai was surprised and asked, "What do you mean? What did he find out?"

Darcx chuckled and said, "Well, it was a secret but now my abilities have improved to another level, earlier I could only detect truth or lie if they spoke, and then it evolved into this vague thing where I could sense their telepathic intentions, but now, I have gained something of a leverage. I can hear the telepathic thoughts and messages of those people."

Tong Bai was shocked and asied, "What the heck?"

Darcx shrugged and said, "I think I can definitely manage to read minds of some people in the future."

Tong Bai nodded and then said, "Fine, I will take him."

That was it, the team had been selected and after a few minutes, Shi Lang took a deep breath and said, "I will be going into seclusion, so you all should be careful."

While she could cultivate inside the Asura Hall, Shi Lang had to go to various locations in the realm to find out a spark of inspiration and comprehend the True meaning inhibited in the various elements in the nature.

Meanwhile, Shi Lang dressed in cotton Hanfu walked out of the Asura Hall. His hands behind his back, and then he moved rather slowly. His roamed around the small city that had taken root at the border of the Asura Hall, he was surprised to see how much of Federation Culture influence was there in the city. They were even wearing jeans and shirts. Shi Lang was shocked how this was going on, and he couldn’t help but walk inside a shop. He reeled in his entire aura and appeared to be a normal young man.

He looked at the man behind the counter and asked, "Boss, how do you sale these merchandises?"

The man replied without raising his head, "The clothes are of modern fashion but they all have arrays engraved on them so, they will cost you one stone each."

Shi Lang was shocked but then he took a deep breath and paid a couple of spirit stones and selected a white shirt and blue jeans with a pair of white sneakers. He checked himself in the mirror and took out his communicator to click a selfie when Raksha said, "Oi, you were supposed to go and be one with nature and not try to look younger than what you are, old relic."

The voice belonged to the one and only Raksha, and the Terran replied, "I am just trying to clean up some of my gloomy as Asura vibes you know."

After taking a deep breath he walked out of the shop with a skip in his step, while Raksha in his soul sea shook her head. Shi Lang was an oddball, he had special ways to comprehend the Dao, and this was one of them. After coming out of the city, he thought about it and asked, "We need to comprehend the true meanings but which ones should we do first? The five elements, the two principles or the Path?"

Raksha was shocked and asked, "So, what are those things you just listed off your tongue? Lang sometimes I think that you should open a club where you call over all the posers, I am sure if you lead all those people to meet that Kal-E, he would die from coughing up blood and that way the World Consciousness might get a chance to fuck him over."

The young man took a deep breath, and controlled himself, before he walked away from the city as he said, "The five elements refer to the five elements, the two principles mean Yin and Yang, and the last one, the path, it means the path of Dao that I walk. Like the path of sword, or the slaughter, or alchemy or forging artifacts. That was what I meant when I said all those things and not giving you any nonsense. Raksha, I have realized that you don’t literally give me any face at all, for you I am basically a slacker who got lucky."

Raksha hummed and said, "Well, kinda true. Your sword broke and Unity was also failing so I fused in. That was your luck. Hooking Amy was your luck. Finding Huo Bing who is now Feng Yun was also your luck."

The young man sighed and said, "Yes, that was my luck, but why are you so jealous?"

Raksha scoffed and said, "I am jealous? Fuck you."
