Building the Strongest Pavilion in Another World
Chapter 56: Jordan
However, by the time the medicinal effects of the third Little Cloud and Water Pill were used up as well, Darius’s tolerance level had also reached its limits. He felt extremely tired, and the upper half of his body immediately toppled over as he fell asleep on the floor right where he was.
Any, who had been beside him all the while, could not help shaking her head. She then helped Darius onto the bed and attentively took off his shoes and covered him with the quilt. She then exited the chamber and fell asleep on a chair in the other chamber.
While her shyness prevented her from doing so at first, she couldn’t help but stay the night, ensuring Darius was okay. If he got mad at her for staying inside of the Pavilion without his permission, then so be it, but her heart can’t bring her to just leave and forget about it.
She was starting to act like avery responsible follower whose main duty was to attend to Darius’s matters.
The night passed. When Darius opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was the canopy of his bed, which caused him to be slightly surprised because he had no recollection of climbing onto the bed last night.
But this was not important.
He smiled, because his cultivation level had once again risen to a new level as he broke through to the sixth layer of True Qi Realm.
The reason why he could break through one layer yesterday was that the past cultivation rate of this body was too slow. The first time the heart method was active at full power naturally led to a one-time eruption but even then, without the pill he would have never broken through given his medicre talent. Of course, this would not happen again in the future.
"You, aren’t you supposed to be at the third realm if not higher!" When Darius stepped out of the internal chamber, Any immediately looked as if she had seen a ghost. She was even stumbling over her words, her eyes fixed in a stare directed at Darius.
"This is merely a cover-up, relax, girl, this is very normal," Darius said, completely calm.
’Hell, it’s normal!’
Any was about to go crazy, she never heard of someone able to show a different cultivation from what his true realm was. While there were techniques of concealing one’s cultivation, altering completly was nigh-impossible.
This is why her mind was going into turmoil right now, she simply couldn’t believe her eyes, it’s as if the person standing before her wasn’t human but a demon in disguise.
Back to his expressionless face, Darius suddenly spoke," What are you doing here by the way? Did I allow you to stay inside the pavilion?"
Hearing this question, Any felt stupfied for a moment before her eyes darted left and right not knowing what to say, she then yelled and run out of the pavilion," Idiot!" Thankfully, Darius didn’t close the door yesterday night so she could leave easy, or else she would have been embrassed to death if she went back to ask for him to open the door.
Back on the second floor, Darius scratched his head," Is she okay? I only asked if I permitted her, it’s not like I insulted her. Women are truly hard to understand." Tossing that matter to the back of his mind, he checked the time on his clock-wall and his expression changed.
"Shit! I overslept, it’s almost opening time and I didn’t even have my breakfast," Darius cursed, but knew it was too late for him to eat anything so he took a quick shower, changed into fresh clothes since the other’s were sweaty and full of burn marks and immediatly opened the pavilion.

In the gate of Dragon City, a middle-aged man with a long beard and trimmed mustache looked at the towering King Cosslum in the sky and gave a long sigh," If only our family wasn’t going through such a hard time, or else my son would be able to compete in the future tournaments that guilds choose talents from."
The middle-aged man sighed once again, he shook his head and carrassed his head deeply in concern," My son told me that guilds would stop at nothing to vanquish evil and will surely help our family, but so naive...so naive."
The name was named Jordan and his family, who were situated in a nearby smaller city was being suppressed and attacked from the inside and outside. His son knew of this and adviced him to go search for protection from the guilds inside of Dragon City. Alas, his son was merely a teenager who knew nothing about the real world.
’Protection huh? Without money, how will they ever accept?’ Jordan chuckled,’ No, even with money they won’t risk it. After all our enemies are quite troublsome in status...’
Unlike what his son had in mind, Jordan wasn’t here looking at what guild had a purer heart to seek help from, but he was here to look for a potential group of cultivators that accepted small money. While they won’t be able to obliberate their enemies, shifting his enemies target from him and making trouble for them would allow hi mto breah for some time.
As he took out his identification card and went through the city gates with the watchful eyes of the guards, numerous conversations began flooding his old ears.’ Nothing useful, huh? Troublsome, troublsome.’
Suddenly, his ears pirqued up as he heard an interesting piece of information.
"Hey, did you hear the latest news? The demonic trio has finally found a place to operate from, yesterday, one of them even bragged about his newly advanced cultivation yelling in the bar that guilds were merely child’s play in front of their pavilion."
A fat short man spoke, his eyes sparkling with interest. But his friend laughed," Haha, late, very late on news. That’s the Immortal Pavilion the demon supression office briefly spoke about last time, lately, some people checked it out and it garned quite a bit of attention before it quickly died down."
The man went silent for a bit before he continued," I advice you, do not head there. I heard that multiple people are targeting that place including the general’s son Luke, when drunk yesterday, he contiously insulted the place and vowed to destroy it sooner or later.
The prices were also astronomical, a regular cultivation room costs about one spirit stone, simply a crazy man running the so-called pavilion."
The fat man listened to his thin friend and made a "Heh" sound before he replied," Poor folks like us can’t even dream of going there then. But doesn’t matter anyway, since Luke said that, this Pavilion is as good as gone."
"Immortal Pavilion huh?" Jordan, standing in front of a stall as though choosing something to buy, couldn’t help but feel quite the interested and approached the two friends.
"Friends, do you know where this establishment is located? And can you give me some bit of information," Swiftly, he waved his hand a gold coin that dazzlzed the duo’s eyes was seen on the man’s hand.
After a few minutes, the middle-aged man could be seen taking a second alley towards the deepest parts of the city, his eyes gleaming with a new hope,’ Also taking missions, hmm. Can check, can check. Better than standing idle.’
