Chapter 1058

Gustav looked at his son with a calm gaze; even after the boy broke through, the man didn’t fret.

A gigantic wind bird had been summoned, and from its wings erupted a thousand wind swords.

A huge dragon wreathed in flames hovered beside the Supreme Magus, mist seeping from its nostrils as it flapped its wings steadily to remain airborne.

Lifting his gaze upward, he could see the sky had turned a shade darker, resembling evening.

Lightning rumbled in the depths, moving like a snake waiting to be unleashed.

The earth beneath their feet kept trembling and rumbling with force, ready to explode.

"Is that all?" Gustav demanded with a small smirk.

"Go," Grey calmly ordered.

Immediately, Kaiser and Salamander surged forward with blinding speed after Kaiser launched the wind swords it had created just now.

Gustav stared at the oncoming projectiles with a steady expression.

Then,

Five thousand metal swords burst forward with rapid velocity.

Within a blink, the metal blades ripped through the wind swords.

They stood no chance.

The remaining weapons blurred forward, their targets being the elemental constructs rushing at him.

Grey remained unfazed as the two beasts stared at the blades speeding their way.

Without hesitation, they increased their momentum and dove under the weapons, allowing them to pass over their heads while they rocketed away.

Gustav held out his hand and the metal blades paused.

Twirling it back around, they rocketed back at the creations that were now an inch away from the man.

Salamander roared loudly like a real dragon would.

Flames erupted from his mouth with vengeful speed.

Gustav smirked and then vanished from view, allowing the fire to crash into the earth, instantly melting it away like it was nothing.

The earth moved and surged upward—blocking the metal blades for a second before the weapons ripped through the barrier.

Luckily, Kaiser and Salamander were able to bolt out of the area as the blades crashed through the ground, ripping deep gouges into the terrain.

Gustav reappeared at another distance.

Grey snapped his head toward that direction.

Then,

Crash!

He darted forward with overwhelming speed as lightning, ki, and wind wrapped around his frame, boosting his velocity to unimaginable heights.

He didn’t even need to blink to appear before the man; his movement resembled teleportation as he materialized before his opponent with vengeful wrath.

Flames howled around his hands, which he thrust forward, sending a fierce tunnel of fire bursting forward.

Metal wrapped around Gustav’s hand as he swung it forward, ripping through the flames.

Grey’s leg shot forward as earth wrapped around it, increasing its density.

He smashed it into the man’s side with all his strength.

A loud clanging sound echoed outward.

Tracing his gaze downward, he could see that a metal wall was blocking his kick.

The wall twisted and immediately formed the shape of a hand that darted toward his leg, ready to snatch it from the air.

Before this could happen, a humongous pillar of lightning screamed downward, smashing into the metal hand with full force.

The world froze for a second.

BOOOM!

A violent shockwave blasted in all directions, causing the terrain to rupture apart immediately as sparks of electricity flew everywhere.

Pointing his hand forward, the pillar froze under Gustav’s gaze and then, closing his hand into a fist, he threw it aside.

This caused the pillar to crash into the earth away from him, instantly pulverizing the terrain.

This distraction had given the warrior-mage enough time to vanish from view as Salamander and Kaiser took his place.

A dozen fireballs burst from the dragon’s mouth, rocketing toward the man with deadly speed.

However, Gustav just vanished from view, avoiding the projectiles that tore through the ground fiercely.

"Gale Spear," Grey mouthed as he pointed his hand forward.

Gustav appeared in the exact direction where his hand was pointed, and from the air, a single wind spear materialized into view.

It launched forward with ultra-fast speed, causing the sound barrier to shake for a moment.

Quickly, Gustav raised a metal wall that stood in place just in time.

CLANG! BANG!

The spear ripped through the wall as if no resistance stood in front of it.

Without flinching, Gustav dragged his hand downward, and a huge metal sword shot toward the earth, crashing into the spear and sending it burrowing into the ground, uprooting the rocks.

Grey materialized before the man with blinding speed, a ki sword lashing toward his head with sharp velocity.

Gustav deflected the strike with a metal sword that had materialized into his hand from nowhere.

The weapons struck with a loud clang as the ground shuddered beneath their feet.

Before Gustav could parry, the ki sword vanished from Grey’s hand, and instead, a crackling sphere of lightning appeared and fired out toward his father.

"Don’t you get it? I can control that element!"

Swinging his hand to the side, Gustav forced the sphere to veer off course, reducing the earth into dust.

The debris rose up, obscuring Gustav’s view for a single second.

The next heartbeat later, something burst through the dust with breakneck speed.

The force of the velocity dispelled the haze for a moment, forcing Gustav to cross his hands before him with metal wrapping around them in a dense layer.

BANG!

Gustav’s eyes widened at the force of the strike.

His metal defense crumbled instantly, and so did the ground he stood on.

Looking at what hit him, the leader of the Otherworlders could see a humongous earth arrow wreathed in flames, also crackling with lightning at the base.

"Aerius Ultra."

A humongous burst of wind screamed out, smashing into the base of the arrow and propelling it forward with earth-shaking force, lifting Gustav off his feet and blasting him away like a ragdoll.
