Ouyang Jun heard the laughter and was searching everywhere for its source.

At that moment, the other two people in the car suddenly turned pale. They grabbed the guns in their hands and pointed them directly at the factory’s main entrance as if facing a formidable enemy.

Ouyang Jun was startled and quickly turned his head.

Upon seeing, Ouyang Jun’s mouth gaped open, eyes as wide as ox bells, full of disbelief.

From the factory entrance, two people walked out slowly, a man and a woman, each holding a gun. After stepping out, the man immediately rushed to the suited man and tied him up securely with a rope.

The woman, without hesitation, walked to the Aston Martin, extended her hand to knock on the car window, and shouted irritably:

"The car is broken, how long do you plan to stay inside like quail? If you don’t come out, Adrian’s reinforcements will probably arrive soon!"

When Huo Sining spoke, only then did Ouyang Jun react, quickly reached out and opened the car door, looking at the dashing Huo Sining leaning against the car door with a face full of shock and delight:

"Why are you here?!"

Huo Sining glanced at Ouyang Jun irritably: "If we didn’t come, would you still be alive to get out today?"

Upon hearing Huo Sining’s words, Ouyang Jun felt a bit apologetic, awkwardly glanced at Huo Sining, turned back to the two companions ready for action beside him and said:

"Don’t be nervous, these are friends from back home, here to rescue me."

The two people heard this and suspiciously glanced at Huo Sining and Gu Xu. After repeatedly confirming there was no danger, they nodded and put away their guns.

Suddenly seeing Huo Sining and Gu Xu in a foreign land, Ouyang Jun was full of questions and wanted to ask how they managed to get there, but Gu Xu had already tied up the man named Adrian and shouted directly at Ouyang Jun:

"If you want to exchange greetings and catch up, save it for later. Let’s figure out how to leave this damn place first! Although we’ve captured this Adrian, there’s no guarantee others won’t come to rescue him. Just now there was a gunfight here, I suspect someone will come to investigate soon!"

With Gu Xu’s reminder, Ouyang Jun finally reacted: "Yes, yes, let’s leave this damn place first! These drug traffickers are numerous and vicious; we can’t let them block us again, or we’ll never escape!"

The Aston Martin’s tires were shot, rendering it unusable. Luckily, there were several cars inside the factory. Gu Xu had already extracted a set of car keys from the suited man’s waist. When he pressed a button, a car’s rear lights illuminated in the parking lot, revealing an SUV Mercedes.

"Let’s go!"

Gu Xu directly threw the bound suited man into the Mercedes’s back trunk and waved for the others to get in the car.

Ouyang Jun and the other two partners hurriedly picked up the unconscious woman rescued earlier from the factory and laid her onto the rear seats. As soon as everyone was seated, Gu Xu stepped on the gas and sped away aimlessly down the road like a headless fly.

Not until the vehicle entered a wooded area and confirmed they were temporarily safe did everyone finally breathe a sigh of relief.

"Weren’t you guys in the country? How did you end up here?"

Gu Xu looked at Ouyang Jun irritably: "You called me, and from your voice, I knew something was wrong. Could I let you stay in this hellhole alone? I figured you might have been set up, so I rushed over to rescue you. What happened? How did you end up in trouble with these drug lords?"

Ouyang Jun glanced sideways at the two people next to him and said with some embarrassment: "It’s a long story, see the person beside me? I was originally in Mexico with friends to enjoy myself and see if I could get some Mexican diamonds when I stumbled upon this girl."

"To put it briefly, I was innocently dragged into this. This girl is a Huaxia person, and on the plane, we chatted a bit, exchanged numbers."

"I had no clue this little girl was a mercenary, and she and her group came to Mexico because they accepted a mission to infiltrate the drug lord’s hideout and steal information. They managed to steal the information but were pursued by countless drug traffickers."

"I have no idea how, during her escape, the little girl ran into my hotel. I was unaware of the situation at the time and unknowingly took her in. As a result, this damned girl attracted a gang of rogue killers, almost costing me my life!"

"Had I not been quick-witted and managed an escape, I might have been dead by now."

Ouyang Jun spoke lightly, but Huo Sining could still infer how critical the situation must have been from his words.

Ouyang Jun has always been brave, fearing nothing, but when he mentioned evading those drug traffickers, his eyes unwittingly showed signs of fright, clearly still haunted by those night’s events.

No matter how imaginative Huo Sining and Gu Xu might be, they could never have guessed things started from this. Unexpectedly, Ouyang Jun was inexplicably pulled into this event.

Huo Sining and Gu Xu exchanged a glance, drawing their mouths in slight disbelief.

"This is Locke and this is Jason; they were with that little girl. I initially had no plans to get involved, but these two insisted on rescuing her, so I tagged along."

Seeing Huo Sining and Gu Xu remain silent, Ouyang Jun had to continue explaining.

Gu Xu doubted, eyeing Ouyang Jun with disbelief: "You have such high awareness? This woman doesn’t relate to you at all; you barely escaped with your life and still want to return and risk death? You expect me to buy that?"

Ouyang Jun was exposed by Gu Xu, feeling awkward, and after a couple of dry laughs, he said:

"Alright, truth is, I’m wanted by Mexican police. The drug traffickers are colluding with the police, so I couldn’t just return home; I had to find another way. Coincidentally, Locke and Jason found me, promising to help me return home if I assisted them in rescuing this woman. I had no choice but to venture with them!"
