But Huo Sining and Gu Xu didn’t ask much, because the information in that folder has already been sent to Yu Fei. Whatever it is, with Yu Fei’s skills, he will decipher it sooner or later.

After returning that memory card to Elisa, she realized that Gu Xu and Huo Sining had gone to Tepito Marketplace before rescuing them and had retrieved the memory card she hid in Ouyang Jun’s phone case.

"Thank you. Without your help, our mission would have probably failed this time."

Elisa looked at the recovered memory card and became extremely excited, repeatedly expressing her gratitude to Huo Sining and Gu Xu.

Qingdu Port is a large port near Mexico with many ships coming and going. Hearing Elisa’s request, Gu Xu paused for a moment and instinctively wanted to refuse.

They had escaped from Adrian’s hideout, and about an hour had already passed. Gu Xu was sure that by now, the entire Mexico would have laid traps in search of them. Going to Qingdu Port now is just heading directly into danger.

But Huo Sining stopped Gu Xu’s action and turned to Elisa, saying, "Sure, we happen to be going to Qingdu Port too. When we get there, we can split up and go our separate ways. Miss Elisa, how does that sound?"

Elisa looked at Huo Sining in surprise, "Really? That’s great."

Huo Sining shrugged and said, "It’s just a small favor, a convenient thing to do, you don’t have to be too polite."

Huo Sining vaguely guessed that Elisa might want to go to Qingdu Port to hand over the task to her employer company, but her proposal perfectly fits Huo Sining’s plans.

Previously, Huo Sining was hesitant and conflicted about bringing Ouyang Jun back to the country, as she wasn’t sure how to do it. If they went to the airport to book tickets, she couldn’t guarantee they would safely board, considering their experiences in the past two days. It’s likely they’d be caught by those Mexican drug dealers before passing the security gate.

This speculation, Huo Sining was very sure, would likely happen. It’s not that she exaggerated the drug lords’ abilities, but she had already seen the essence of the problem – Mexican drug dealers have immense power, enough to infiltrate the police system, and likely the airport airline system. With these drug lords spread so widely, there are probably their informants everywhere throughout Mexico, especially the one called Tranleva, who likely controls the underground black forces in the whole of Mexico with an iron hand.

Thus, Huo Sining was concerned that the moment they entered the airport, they would be captured by those drug dealers, so the thought of flying home was practically out of the question.

The remaining options were either by land or sea.

By land, certainly under those black forces’ control too, and in this ghost place called Mexico, they remain strangers. No matter how they run, they wouldn’t know their way around better than the locals. Naturally, this option is also not feasible.

The only remaining option was to go by sea, which despite the term "smuggling" sounding unpleasant to Huo Sining, there were no better choices given the current situation.

They could find a ship about to leave port, sneak aboard, and depart before those drug dealers discover them. As long as they leave Mexico, the rest would be easier.

Whether that ship goes to America, Canada, or Peru, once they leave Mexican territory, they can disembark and book the earliest flight back home.

Or at worst, even if they encounter something aboard the ship, it’s no big deal. With the Water-Repelling Pearl, the ocean is Huo Sining’s domain.
