Chapter 1058: Don’t believe everything she says

By now, only Sierra needed the fourth volume of the manual. No one else has completed the formation of their First Trinity yet.

Most of them have not even found the relevant third-party contracts.

Milica and Nemo were the only ones who already had three contracts, at least among those Idan and Arabel knew.

As they knew, Nemo was in no hurry, as two of his three contracts were for his young daughters. And for now, he decided to wait a bit to let them grow up.

Arabel just smiled back.

Picking them up, Sierra also smiled, making sure that this was exactly what she was talking about.

“Thank you, little sis,” she said to Arabel. Then she turned to Idan, “And thank you, Idan.”

Milica and Geminia, who were sitting next to each other, were no less interested in the new volumes of the Manual.

While the women were busy discussing the management, Idan noticed how calmly the bird was behaving in Sierra’s company, without showing the slightest fear.

Soon after, Irene and the others returned to the Kingdom through the portals created by the Doppelgangers with Snow and Whitey.

Idan and Arabel were surprised to see that the remaining platinum-ranked beasts had followed the group into the Kingdom. Once inside, they froze in amazement.

Among them, Idan recognized twenty of the beasts that he had previously turned into vampire beasts while in the Dungeon.

“It’s strange,” he whispered, feeling a subtle connection with these beasts. Although after their deaths and exit from the dungeon, they ceased to be vampires and lost touch with him, just as he himself ceased to be a vampire.

While most of the Guild members and the beasts couldn’t figure out why they had returned instead of waiting for the Dungeon gates to open, Irene, Milena, Yulaya, Arslan, Nayla, and Prina hurried into the living room.

What immediately caught Idan and Arabel’s attention was the change in Prina’s appearance. As soon as she returned to the Kingdom, she became small again.

Her majestic image of the Queen disappeared, replaced by the image of a little Princess with a tiara instead of a crown.

Upon entering the living room and seeing Idan and Arabel safe and sound, Irene breathed a sigh of relief. However, as soon as she had a smile on her face, she was replaced by an offended expression, with which she fixed her gaze on her brother and sister-in-law.

She wasn’t alone. Everyone else also looked at the couple with resentment. And Nayla, still feeling fear of the vampire, that is, Idan, hid behind Irene.

Only Prina did not stop smiling. She was absolutely delighted with this little adventure.

When she saw Sierra, she approached her, and her attention was immediately attracted by the ugly bird in Sierra’s arms.

Idan scratched his head with a slight smile, watching the reaction of his sister and the others. Although he had expected this, he still felt a little embarrassed.

Arabel blushed, embarrassed, but did not look away.

“First of all, let me speak,” Idan began. “I hope that you can understand and forgive us for what happened in the dungeon. Yes, it was Belle and me, and we had to take this step.”

“Dan and I were caught off guard. Not only did we have little time, but we were forbidden to share this information with anyone,” Arabel added.

Arslan, Yulaya, Milena, and Nayla stared at Irene, wide-eyed in surprise.

Arslan and Yulaya were outside the dungeon and did not see what caused such a sudden end to events.

Milena and Nayla, who were with Irene inside, did not pay attention to the Federation groups, so they also did not know what killed them.

Irene, who knew and saw everything, did not have time to share her observations with the others before they were all recalled back to the Kingdom.

“Hehe, hehe, of course you can’t kill us with such a small thing,” Arabel laughed.

Her answer made Irene and everyone else stare at her like she was a real monster.

Idan shook his head with a smile, watching Arabel turn a dangerous situation into a joke.

“Don’t believe everything she says,” he interjected. Arabel pouted and looked at him resentfully.

“Okay, no kidding, we survived thanks to Dan’s foresight. He noticed the oddities in Octavian’s actions and sent a clone instead of himself or me,” Arabel announced, stopping joking.

“It was only because Dan saw exactly what Selina had pulled out, and took advantage of a short period of time to get me and himself away from you that we stayed alive.”

“If we had been in the epicenter of the explosion, I am more than sure that we would not have survived.”

Idan also decided to express his opinion: “Not only us, but even a Diamond-ranked creature would not have been able to survive at that moment.”

The explosion of the nuclear bomb was so powerful and devastating that Idan doubted the survival of not only the Diamond-ranked creatures, but also the 6th-ranked creatures such as Prina, the Dark Dragoness, and the Lord of the Domain of Saints. Those Rank 6 creatures who didn’t have real full-fledged Domains.
