Jeremy Night came back to the hill. But the Tier-6 Black Hyena didn’t give up. It continued to follow him from behind.

His eyes flashed with a glint. He controlled himself from confronting the beast. He didn’t want his skills to be exposed, so he decided to keep a low profile.

He continued to use his footwork to increase his speed. He was running towards the special base, thinking that once he got closer to it, the elders would sense the presence of the Tier-6 beast. Jeremy Night was gambling.

Screech!

The Tier-6 Black Hyena made a hysterical sound. It used its speed to reach the target, but it found out that the target was slippery. At the last moment, the target would change direction abruptly.

But the beast could not do that. It paused after missing the target. Seeing that the target was getting away by using the opportunity, the Black Hyena was enraged.

Screech!

It made a hysterical sound again. The beast was angry. It started running again.

Jeremy Night’s back went cold. He was sure that the beast was angry. He was taking a gamble by going to the special base.

It didn’t take long for him to cover half the distance. If he made another fast sprint, he would get closer to the base.

The Tier-6 Black Hyena saw that the target was getting closer to the base. It became vigilant. The beast glared at the target. It remembered the scent of the Beast Tamer.

If the Beast Tamer ever came to its territory again, it would definitely hunt him down. The Tier-6 Black Hyena made a decision. It turned around all of a sudden and started going back to the hill.

Jeremy Night suddenly felt the sense of crisis vanish. He slowed down and looked back, seeing that the beast had given up and started going back.

A huge weight lifted off his shoulders. He then collected his thoughts and resumed his journey.

15 minutes later,

He returned to the base. He quickly went to the administration building, where there were staff inside. His arrival drew attention.

Jeremy Night looked at the staff and found Staff Smith. He then walked up to him to submit the mission. When Smith saw Jeremy Night, he was shocked.

Because it was going to be early morning soon, he didn’t expect Jeremy Night to return this early. He wondered whether Jeremy Night had completed the mission or not.

"Mister Smith, I have completed the mission successfully," I said to him.

Smith smiled, but he was shocked inwardly. Then he brought Jeremy Night to another room where the materials were checked.

The other staff heard the words as well and were surprised. They didn’t expect the new member to complete the mission. Their doubts were gone; they were now sure that the new member could fight across Tiers.

If he had killed Tier-5 beasts in his current Tier-3 stage, then he would become even more formidable after becoming a Tier-4 Beast Tamer.

Meanwhile,

Inside the room, Jeremy Night poured out the decapitated heads of the seven Tier-5 Black Hyenas. Smith’s pupils shrunk. He knew the hyenas were hard to deal with when they were in a pack.

It was a difficult task even for a veteran Tier-5 Beast Tamer, yet the new member did it. He then collected his thoughts and started the procedure. He began to record the footage of the severed heads and Jeremy Night.

After doing that, he verified the mission report and approved the task as complete. Jeremy Night didn’t have to look for other staff.

Buzz!

The next second, Jeremy Night received a notification on his device. He opened the message and saw the mission completion mark. Not only that, but 500 credit points and 200 leaderboard points were added to his name.

A broad smile appeared on his face. But this was just the start. He needed to do more missions to climb the leaderboard rankings.

Staff Smith then said, "Hereafter, you can directly get missions from me. After completing a mission, you can submit the report and materials to me."

"It was the order of Elder John. He knows about your mission and was impressed with your decision to select such a tough mission," he added.

Hearing that, Jeremy thanked Mister Smith.

10 minutes later,

He returned to the accommodation building. He didn’t see Elder Leah. He took the lift to reach the 5th floor, and then arrived in front of his room a couple of minutes later.

Jeremy used the room key to enter the room. After entering inside, he closed the door. He heaved a sigh of relief.

That was a close call. He had never underestimated the Tier-6 beast. He had been worried that the beast possessed an ability it could use against him.

But fortunately, nothing like that had happened. He then pushed away those thoughts before going to the bathroom. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

He spent 20 minutes in the bath. He walked out and changed into comfortable clothes, then sat down on the sofa. He took his device to access the online network.

He wanted to know whether the news of the 4th zone could be viewed, and it worked. He started seeing the trending news of the 4th zone. He could watch the live news as well.

He clicked on one of the channels. The news anchor was talking about an incident in the wilderness today. Seeing that, Jeremy Night was stunned.

He didn’t expect wilderness reporting to be done. Unless a major incident occurred, no one usually knew about what happened in the wilderness.

Incidents that occurred in the wilderness usually stayed in the wilderness. It was the first time for him to watch news about it.

He saw that the news anchor was talking about popular Beast Taming Teams. It reminded him of the 5th and 10th Zones, where some of the teams were really popular.

A similar model was here. But here, the news anchor was talking about the mission details. How could the organization share the mission details with them? He frowned. Maybe the rules were different here.

He then continued to watch the news. The teams there were encountering Tier-6 beasts on a daily basis. His mouth twitched. Jeremy decided to reach Tier-4 as soon as possible.
