He uses this power to strengthen himself continuously and seek the path of survival. However, his relationship with Bella starts to undergo subtle changes, forcing him to confront emotional challenges.

Elijah's growth, struggles, and emotional development with numerous women in the post-apocalyptic world form the core of the story.
