Chapter 1102 Wide

And so, the dragon elders waited. They had no choice. The duo was the strongest amongst them, and Atticus had killed the strongest of their race. Waiting was a no-brainer.

Yet, once again, to the question, Atticus didn't respond. He didn't need to.

Their reactions had told him everything. He already knew the answer, but he wanted confirmation, just in case.

Reaching this conclusion, his voice came, cutting through the air with a single word.

"Ozeroth."

Eletantron and Jezenet's eyes narrowed into pinpricks.

He was coming.

A blinding pillar of violet light burst from Atticus's chest, exploding into the sky before collapsing in on itself, condensing into the radiant figure of Ozeroth, tall, imposing, and grinning wide with intensity.

He hovered beside Atticus, icy eyes locking onto Jezenet with a grin that said it all.

Miss me, bitch?

Jezenet's expression darkened.

There was no way she could forget this spirit. The one who'd made her feel like a child swinging at a god. Made her feel worthless.

But not anymore. Now, she had power.

The tension spiked in an instant.

Jezenet and Eletantron's auras exploded from their bodies with a force that tore through the battlefield.

In the blink of an eye, they began to transform.

Eletantron's ears grew sharp, his eyes shifting into a deep green, glowing from within. His body turned translucent, the edges of his figure warping and pulsing with light.

However, Jezenet's skin darkened, her figure shortening slightly. She became more solid, more unshakable. Horns burst from her head, curling upward, and a radiant dark crimson armor snapped into place over her form as her spear emerged in her hand.

Her eyes blazed, a burning crimson that could sear through steel.

Then silence.

They both locked their gazes onto Atticus, eyes blazing with the gazes of predators.

The gazes of the dragon elders and humanity alike shot wide, unable to understand what they were seeing.

The traits, those were the marks of other races! What the hell was going on?

No answer came, only Eletantron's voice thundering across the sky.

"As soon as that shield comes down, I will make you watch as I kill every single one of your pathetic race. Slowly. One by one. Before I move to your family members."

His words sent a collective shudder through the spines of every human watching. Many clutched their chests tightly, their fists balled over their hearts. Hoping. Praying that their Apex wouldn't fall.

But the human paragons hovered in the air quietly. They had already known about the cores. Atticus had told them about the cores bonded within Eletantron and Jezenet.

Even so, they watched the scene without uttering a word, hearts beating fast, their throats dry. Each one of them was hoping, praying.

Magnus and Avalon hovered in the sky together, both of their hands clenched tight.

Their gazes burned into the battlefield. The fact that they couldn't help and could only watch sent a wave of shame crashing through them.

Back in the Ravenstein estate, Anastasia stood inside the control room. Her arms were clutched tightly across her chest, her expression filled with nothing but worry as she stared at the screen.

Behind her, the figures of Aurora, Ember, Caldor, Zoey, Kael, and Nate stood together, along with some other Ravenstein youths. They had stopped their training to watch the battle of Atticus.

All eyes were locked on the image of Atticus.

Across the entire human domain, silence descended.

Every screen. Every eye. Every soul… focused on one thing.

Atticus.

Waiting to see his next move.

Luckily, they didn't have to wait long.

Atticus and Ozeroth sent a glance to each other, thousands of words spoken in that brief moment.

They turned and faced their fronts and then…

Atticus raised his right arm.

Ozeroth raised two.

An intense light ignited in each of their raised hands, the forms of weapons taking shape.

In Atticus's hand, a katana formed purely from fusion energy drawn from the four basic elements.

In Ozeroth's, a pair of massive twin hammers had formed. He brandished them effortlessly.

In that moment, Atticus's voice came:

"Lucendi, Elves, and Requiem."

Ozeroth's voice came next, thick: "Transmutari, Demons, and Dwarves."

They locked onto their targets.

Atticus: Eletantron.

Ozeroth: Jezenet.

Then came their aura.

Boom.

It felt like a world exploded. An eruption of power so intense it spread outward with terrifying speed, enveloping everything.

The dragon elders felt their legs go numb as their own auras were snuffed out in an instant.

They dropped lower in the sky from the sheer weight of it, flapping their wings desperately just to stay airborne.

Eletantron and Jezenet's expressions darkened.

He had gotten even more powerful!

Time slowed…

They moved.

It was a speed that could only be described with one word: insane.

Atticus and Ozeroth didn't seem to have moved, and yet, another pair of them appeared just before Eletantron and Jezenet.

As though they had cloned themselves.

As though the world was made just for them to dance through.

Not a nanosecond was wasted. Their weapons came crashing down.

Eletantron and Jezenet's eyes narrowed to pinpricks.

Their auras surged.

Their arms found their weapons in a blur, instantly shooting them up to block.

Boom!

The clash split the air. A tidal wave of force exploded outward, ripping through the skies and smashing into the dragon elders.

Their eyes could only widen as they disintegrated into nothingness.

The shockwave didn't stop.

It slammed into their warship, ripping it apart in an instant, reducing it to bits and metal ash.

For a second, all the paragons of humanity… every single person watching…

Saw only whiteness.

Suddenly, two figures shot downward from the whiteness, slamming into the Aegis Shield with a resounding impact that echoed across the domain.

The screen cleared just enough for them to see it…

The bloodied forms of Eletantron and Jezenet. Their arms had been broken from blocking that punch.

Both of them rose from the shield. Teeth gritted. Bodies trembling. Arms clenched. Eyes burning.

Their auras were just about to surge…

Before a kick impacted the side of each of their faces.

Their heads jerked sideways, before their entire bodies followed, tearing through the air at unimaginable speeds.

Humanity's mouths opened wide.
