And as he expected, just two days passed and the members of the team finally seemed to couldn’t help but pour out their resentment. Inside the practice room, when Shen Lou was called by the mentors outside, the members couldn’t help but start to speak.

"I couldn’t take this anymore. The practice time is very strict. I couldn’t even breathe to take a break."

"That’s true. I think it’s very unfair. Shen Lou clearly knows that his physical strength is much higher than ours so he knew that we’ll get tired faster than him, but still he didn’t even want to take a break. If it weren’t for the mentors to call him, can we even do this?"

It’s clear that he’s doing exactly what they want him to execute but why are they not satisfied? What kind of emotions and how do they even feel it when they are just clearly doing the same thing as him?

Why? Why is it so hard?

Qin An didn’t stop his training again and again until he felt his body was getting too worn out. He only decided to stop when he remembered Li Bai’s face and his nagging to take care of his body.

Qin An on the corner was panting heavily too. Even if he’s trying to keep up on Shen Lou’s energy, there’s a big gap between A+ and S+. Shen Lou’s strength is incomparable to them so they felt that their body isn’t theirs anymore.

Qin An sat on the floor and leaned on the wall. He sighs deeply as he feels the weariness on his body. He could feel the sweats and the strength slowly draining him. His heart beats fast and he’s actually feeling a bit dizzy.

This feeling is still unfamiliar to him but unlike the last time, he can adapt faster. Even if he’s tired, the warm feeling of a human body somewhat satisfies him. After all, the grim reaper’s body is much like a corpse. Too cold all year round and for him who lived for a long time, the coldness on his body is already comparable to the winter season of the Earth.

Qin An was also a bit overwhelmed by Shen Lou. The young man was very strict. He won’t allow a single mistake on the performance. If one makes a mistake, they will go back to the first without a further adieu. He won’t consider anyone’s feelings and would directly point you out.

There was even one moment especially during the first day of practice. One member made the mistake of singing the lyrics because he hadn’t memorized his lines. Shen Lou got angry because the member only had a few lines yet he went wrong. And because of his harsh words, other members couldn’t help but speak up which resulted in a punishment for all of them.

They have to memorize the whole song for 20 minutes. Although the humans in Interstellar have stronger intelligence, because of Shen Lou’s intimidation and mental pressure, some members still made a mistake.

Shen Lou was harsh but he knew he had a reason. That member didn’t take his part seriously because he had part 5 which only contained a few lines. He overestimates himself and believes that he can keep up. But who was he in front of someone who’s stronger than him?

Shen Lou trained that member one on one that day and if he made a mistake, Shen Lou’s mental pressure went even heavier. And of course, how could someone who only had B mental power withstand that pressure? That member was forced to face the reality that he cannot be arrogant in front of him.

As for him, Qin An got the last part which only had one line. His exposure was even the least and he’s mostly likely at the back all the time. With this part, is Qin An dissatisfied? A bit. But did he say anything? No. But not because he’s afraid, Qin An just knew that someone like Shen Lou who’s always on top won’t listen to someone who’s lower than him.

This is what Shen Lou lacks. He doesn’t have the character. He only knew how to command direction and never consider the weak.

So Qin An just closed his lips. Anyway, as long as no one bothers him, he doesn’t care. But, his impression of the young man lessened. At that time at the assessment test, he was eager to be stronger like him; now, even if the eagerness is still there, there’s not much enthusiasm.

Shen Lou’s capabilities are worth looking up but his character is not.
