Chapter 987 Chapter 987 Without Fail

Shen Roujing had an indescribable expression for a long time. Nobody knew what she was thinking at the moment. After a great amount of silence, she took a special item from her storage ring.

It was a simple letter than withstood the test of time. From a single glance alone, one would assume that a single touch would be enough to destroy the letter in pieces.

But no… there was something magical about this letter. It read:

"You should be reading this after at least 15,000 years of self-penance. Congratulations for breaking though. Becoming a Celestial Monarch sure is a treat for the ages.

But make no mistake, you're still an ant in the grand scheme of things." Our bored gamer's humor could be felt in his words. It was thick and obvious.

"I have left some useful resources for you to use. Take it as my apology for what happened in the past.

I have a hunch that you'll be reaching the apex of strength on this world after a hundred million years or so. When you do, I have only one advice to share. Don't come find me.

It will be a stupid journey to take with only misery to accompany you. Farewell, girl." The message ended here and it was dated some 20,000 years in the past.

In Shen Roujing's investigation, that mysterious handsome man only stayed on this world for 300 years and then vanished without a trace.

She has tried to delve further but all she got was more questions than answers. That man conquered, pillaged, and destroyed, and disappeared after crowned supreme in all continents and races.

"Your divination skills may have been far better than mine. Way far better. You must know what I'd try to do next." Shen Roujing spoke to no one.

Her words barely a whisper in the wind. Nevertheless, the conviction in them cannot be denied.

"Until next time." And with this, Shen Roujing has found herself a brand new goal to accomplish.

* * *

Almost 20,000 years prior… a man who sat in a golden throne harvested all the faith energy in the world.

"DING!"

Power Systems Conquered: 45/50

"Wake up, loser. Don't treat this classroom as your hotel." These harsh words echoed out before it was followed by an even harsher action. 𝒇𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

"PAK!"

A not so light slap to the head woke our very own protagonist and within the span of a few breaths, a jolt of headache arrived in full with rewarded him with a huge deposit of a miserable teenage life so far.

"Well… this is not unexpected at all. Why don't you give me something original for a change, partner?" Clark was assumed at this all too familiar scene.

He was once again a failure and waste of human potential. He checked his body and found nothing spectacular at all. This figure was thin and lacking.

Even his face lacked any positive charm whatsoever. It was too plain and a step closer to ugly in definition.

Nevertheless, our bored gamer never minded since beauty was after all skin deep after everything else was scrubbed right through the root.

"Did you not hear me, loser? Why are you suddenly smiling right now? Did you become a fool with just one of my slaps? Here take another one."

The bully acted once more and delivered great to his promise. The slap came but what happened next was an all different matter entirely.

"BANG!" A flying kick was perfectly manoeuvred in place which planted right at the temple of the bully.

It sent him back and away until his body tumbled down the line of tables and students alike.

This made everyone gawk in shock but the culprit of the kick had seemed to already forget about the downed tyrant.

"Hmmm… This body lacks balance. It will take me a long time to correct this flaw." Clark mused out loud as he nearly tripped in place after he delivered the punishing kick prior.

He walked out of the room as if nothing happened and the first thing he noticed was the range of flashing lights in the sky.

There were marvels of technology above both of amazing skyscrapers and advanced transport ships.

It was easy to tell that this was way beyond the norm of human civilizations back in the past.

"BOOM!" A man could be seen flying in the sky as if it was his own domain to traverse.

"Well… this will be fun." Our good gamer smiled and continued to acquaint himself with his new surroundings.

He did it so in silence since he knew full well about the recent death that he had caused partially.

One should know that the past owner of this body has already died upon our avid gamer's advent. The root cause of it all was because he lost hope in the coming days.

"You shan't worry anymore, Luka. I will take good care of your family from now on." Clark made a promise to the dearly departed soul of the luckless boy.

Luka had taken an expensive exam in order to get entrance to a prestigious school called Mountain Oak University.

Alas, the hapless boy failed which made his family drown in debt because of his unrealistic ambitions. With all hope gone, life would soon follow to disappear.

It was just the obvious outcome of things. Luka gambled but he lost. Skill more than any kind of luck was simply not on his arsenal at this time.

Luckily for Luka's family, our bored gamer has arrived in order to change everything from here on out.

"I await the news of my fresh system cheat, Nancy." Clark muttered as he ate heartily in the school canteen.

He spent the last of his money but he did not care since he knew that a great advantage would soon befall him.

"Affirmative, host!" The system Nancy started.

"In order to active your cheat, you need first to do a couple of things. The list below is required." She continued without fail.
