108 The Glowing Flora

The Lovers Night Chase Garden had been a sacred place of love in the Humban settlement. Only young adults who are at their ripe age of marriage are allowed into the place which could be defined as the area where the female and male Humbans get to know more about each other.

It had been created years ago due to the history of the first Shaman proposing to his lover right in this area. Ever since then, the garden has become more of a public attention for the Humbans and it has become a favorite place for budding lovers due to its beautiful natural setting and environment.

Zeras arrived before the tall blue-colored gate he looked inside and couldn't help but be shocked by what he saw.

Right in front of him was a very large garden with flowers that glowed with multicolored lights in the soft glow of moonlight and with ends that he couldn't even see.

Streams were meandering through the valleys in the distance with rocks on them acting as bridges while different male and female Humbans walked around the place arm-in-arm with twinkling laughter.

Zeras stood there amazed as he slowly fully entered the place and was genuinely shocked. This was the most beautiful environment he had ever seen in his life even though it was currently midnight.

The garden was huge and without ends and he simply walked and walked, his lonely figure making him stand out from the group of Humbans that lurked around the place but everyone was embroiled in their business and didn't pay him much attention.

Zeras walked through the garden as he looked at the flowers with veins that were radiating different colors of light. Zeras looked at one of the flowers and saw an extremely beautiful rose-like flower at the center of the garden.

His steps immediately quicked as he walked towards the rose, unconsciously attracted to it due to the beautiful blue-pink light it was radiating and due to him being very familiar with the rose.

Arriving before the rose, Zeras got on one knee as he took a small sniff at it and couldn't help but be amazed. The smell was extremely beautiful making his heart beat quite down and feeling peace within himself just from sniffing the smell.

"So Magical..." Zeras whispered as he inched even closer to it and took a very deep breath in of its scent.

"HMMMMMMM..."

"HMMMMMMM..." The sound of him taking a deep breath in reverberated through the garden but Zeras was surprised when he heard the sound of someone taking a deep breath in also and he couldn't help but notice a figure just behind the flower he was sniffing.

"Theo?..." The melodic voice of a female rang out, surprise evident in it as Zeras looked at the pink-haired beautiful Humban female in front of him, at a height of 1.8 meters tall and dressed in a pure white garment that reached up to her knees and gently blew to the wind.

Her eyes were a color of green instead of the normal deep black while her face even for a Humban was crafted by perfection itself.

This was no doubt the most beautiful Humban female Zeras had ever seen.

"Natasha?" Zeras unconsciously asked as he quickly stood up, embarrassed that a female Humban caught him sniffing flowers like a female.

"Yes..." Natasha said quietly as she also stood up, her cheek slowly turning a shade of pink.

An awkward five-second silence ensued between the two as Zeras was lost for words. What was he supposed to do when he met 'his' fiancee? Heck, he had not even a single clue, but he still reacted quickly enough.

"It seems we're the only one completely alone here. Then what do you say about me keeping you company..." Zeras asked with a small smile as stretched out his hand towards her.

Natasha didn't say a word to that but she gently held Zera's hand which was a confirmation as the duo walked alone in the large garden surrounded and illuminated by the glow of the flowers.

"They looked so beautiful when they glow like that..." Zeras said looking at the flowers still amazed by what he was seeing.

"They are called the glowing Flores. They're very rare. So much you can only see them in this place through the entire planet..." Natasha said quietly beside him, her enthusiasm for the flowers present in her voice.

"Do you like them too..." Zeras suddenly asked looking into her green eyes.

"I do..." Natasha replied causing Zeras to bend to the ground as he plucked one of the roses.

"The first time I saw you Natasha, I noticed you are the most beautiful Humban lady I have ever laid my soul on..." Zeras said as he held her soft hands in her hands while looking into her green eyes.

"But I also can't help but notice you seemed to be lacking a little something..." Zeras said causing her to look at him curiously.

"Oh, what could that be?'

"You're lacking...the glow..." Zeras said as he gently inserted the glowing rose flower into her hair causing her beautiful face to be illuminated by the different light of the rose.

"Look into my eyes, tell me how you look right now..." Zeras whispered as Natasha looked into his dark eyes and saw her clear reflection.

"So beautiful..." She whispered.

"Oh, you truly think I'm beautiful?" Zeras asked as an evil smile suddenly appeared on his formerly solemn face.

"What!, I meant my reflection in your eyes..."

"Hey, everyone, Natasha thinks I'm so beautiful..." Zeras screamed out loud but he was immediately caught off when he felt the ground rumbling behind him.

"You liar... Stop..." Natasha immediately jumped on him as her soft hand held tightly his lips and they were both sent flying on the green flowers.

"Hey, everyone... Natasha is trying to stop me from letting you all know what she..."

"You shameless thing, watch how I pummel you today..."

"Hey, everyone help... She's trying to kill me..."

"Be quiet..."

"Hey...You..."

The ground battle of two Humbans, a male and female took place in the middle of the garden, as the female repeatedly pummeled the male who could only scream out in pain, their occasional laughter ringing throughout the garden...

Slightly far away from the location of the duo. A group of 3 male Humbans could be seen as they watched Zeras and Natasha, with a cup containing red juice in their hand.

"Theo really changed a lot after coming back from the war, don't you guys think.." Mori said as he looked at the duo, a small smile on his face.

"It seems he finally gained that part of his that was missing, that bold part..." Bero, one of the Humbans confirmed.

"Irrespective of what really happened to him in the war... I know deep within I prefer this type of bold Theo, and it seems it was the part Natasha had also been looking for in him..." Xoro said as they slowly drank their cup looking at the 'battle' that was going on below which soon stopped as both fighters looked up at the night sky, breathing out their lungs in exhaustion.
