Cosmic Paragon-Chapter 61: Peter’s Epiphany!

The twins were a bit envious of the ’Eye of Order’s’ special scanning ability, it was

really convenient.

At least wit the ability to learn everything about your opponents powers, you

would not ever have to worry about being caught off guard.

As Drake continued to pay attention to the fight, he constantly explained what

was going on to the twins.

Peter admired the ’Eye of Order’ more and more. He had tried asking Drake how

this special ability worked.

"I don’t really understand it myself. All I know is that I just use magic power with

this special attribute to enhance my vision and that’s it. As long as its something

that can be gotten by scanning the target, it is labeled to me." Drake had said.

Drake had also told him about the things he had fond that the ’Eye of Order’

couldn’t do like tell a persons name after one look if they weren’t wearing any ID

on them.

As Peter looked at Drake now, he couldn’t help but think back to that

conversation and repeat what Drake had said.

"... All I know is that I just use magic power with this special attribute to enhance

my vision and that’s it..."

Now that he thought about it, he felt like there was something wrong with that

statement.

Peter and Paul had been Mages forever, and in all this time whenever they tried to

reinforce their eyes with magic power to enhance their vision all they achieved

was that their sight got a bit clearer and sharper, letting them see farther. But

that was it.

Even now as he mobilized his magic power to enhance his vision he was only able

to see a bit deeper into the dust and turbulent winds. Nothing more and this

frustrated him.

However he did not give up. He was a genius and he knew that there was

probably something he wasn’t doing right.

And the more he remembered that statement, the more he thought he was right.

He kept muttering the same sentence over and over to himself.

"... All I know is that I just use magic power with this special attribute to enhance

my vision and that’s it..."

"... All I know is that I just use magic power with this special attribute..."

Suddenly, he felt his mind click.

"Wait!" Peter stopped, "Use magic power with this special attribute.

"Special Attribute!"

He finally found what he believed was the source of his conundrum. It was these

two words with special emphasis to the word ’Attribute’.

Under normal condition, when a Mage reinforced their vision with magic power,

they would run pure magic energy through their eyes.

This was something that every Mage could do from 1 star Mage level, so almost

every Mage could do this. But Drake said something that was contradictory to

this, ’Attribute Energy’. Peter had caught this point.

While a Mage was still at the 1 star level, their magic power elemental affinity

didn’t yet come into play. So all their magic energy was pure at this stage.

It was only after they had advanced to 2 star Mage level that their affinities

manifested.

At this point they would convert their pure magic energy into their respective

affinity’s magic power. It was now this converted magic energy that they used

whenever they used any special magic powers.

However, it was already a habit that had been established since their early days

as 1 star Mages that they use pure magic energy when they wanted to enhance

their vision. It was something they tend to do subconsciously.

In fact even Drake was the same it’s just that he hadn’t been a 1 star Mage for

long so it hadn’t yet turned into a habit for him.

He also hadn’t been using pure magic energy long before he suddenly formed the

Libra constellation. And after this constellation was formed almost all the energy

he had been using had come from it.

If it hadn’t been for the fact that he had also formed the Virgo constellation, he

would still only be using magic power from the Libra constellation.

Peter himself had also been subconsciously always using only pure magic energy

to reinforce his vision, so now that he heard Drake mention that he actually used

attributed magic power to enhance his vision he felt a bomb go off in his mind.

He finally understood what he had been doing wrong all this time.

Why was it that the result of reinforcing vision with ordinary pure magic power

would only result in just slightly enhanced vision? It was because this method

was just a 1 star Mages low level ability.

He imagined, ’What would happen if instead I used Space and Time power to

enhance my vision?’ The thought caused his heart to beat rapidly and his blood

to race with excitement.

Not being one to hesitate, he immediately mobilized his magic power. Pure magic

power was quickly converted into Space and Time Power and then rushed to his

eyes.

Ever since they had found out that Paul possessed Time power, the twins had

started keeping their twin share special ability active at all times so that they

could master controlling these two powers quickly.

Magic power flowed like a gushing stream into Peter’s eyes and the next instant

the pupils of his eyes changed from their black color to a beautiful Silver and pale

bluish color.

Peter suddenly had the world before his eyes change from the colored world to

now being displayed in a special Black, White and Grey. With dots, lines and

planes flipping all around throughout.

The cloud of dust and turbulent wind vanished and was now replaced by a veil of

feint light Grey that arose with the wind. Within this cloud he could clearly see

the two figures of Cassandra and the Golden Crown Tyrant Black Hawk.

"Holy shit it works! Haha, awesome." Peter was so excited he was jumping, "So

that’s what it was, that’s what we’ve been missing all this time. Haha, I’ve figured

it out, I’m a genius."

Paul was looking at Peter strangely, he did not understand what was going on

’Why is he suddenly so excited to the point of jumping.’

"Umm, Peter I know we all have our moments and all that and I hat to disturb

you, but there’s currently an angry Grade 3 magic beast just across the street. So

this really isn’t a good t9ime to display your daily one minute of stupidity." Paul

requested with a sincere smile.

"Be a dear will ya, please do us a favor and suppress it for just a little bit longer.

Like maybe an hour, by then Survival training would have concluded. And what’s

with your eyes." he had also seen the Silvery bluish eyes and it made him wonder

when Peter had happened to put on contact lenses without him noticing.

Suddenly.

SMACK!

"Who are you calling one minute of stupidity? How dare you call my inspiration

and celebration moment stupidity?"

Paul staggered forward and was momentarily dumbfounded that he actually just

got slapped in the head.

"You..."

"Shut up! I just had a moments epiphany and if you dare piss this Genius Young

Master off, this young master will not share my good things with you." Peter

snorted in annoyance. This guy dared to call his genius mind stupidity, such

disrespect was pure blatant Blasphemy!

Paul’s eyes immediately shone when he heard that Peter had an epiphany and he

instantly forgot the fact that he had just been slapped.

"Epiphany?! What did you discover? Hurry up and share." Paul demanded, Peter

rarely had these moments of inspiration but every time he did it always had

magnificent results.

Take for example, when they teleported space would be unstable so they could

not easily teleport immediately. It was Peter that had come up with the idea that

why not when the teleport they set their exit point to be above ground level.

This way whenever they came out of jump they would fall out of the center of the

unstable space with gravity, and they could immediately teleport after their feet

came in contact wit the ground.

This idea had been a true work of genius so Paul would always look forward to

whenever Peter thought up any more good stuff.

Peter snorted arrogantly, "Humph! Is that how you talk when you are asking for

something?"

"Are you asking for a beating?" Paul raged, "Don’t forget you just slapped me. I’ve

been magnanimous enough to drop it and not demand any compensation but

don’t push your luck."

Peter scowled. "Damn you! What I’m about to share with you is good for your

future and you’re making demands."

"Will you start talking or what?" Paul pressed he wasn’t having it. If he let this

narcissistic prick have his way he would start thinking he was the king of the

universe, this guy might request for the moon and stars on a plate.

Fine! Peter grumbled unhappily but he didn’t hide his discovery fro his brother,

he had only jut been joking around. ’Plus I got away with one free smack, that’s

on win for me. Hehe.’ he thought.

"I found a way to make our enhanced vision much better an more advanced, it

uses our Space and time power." Peter stated proudly, "It’s a special ability just

like bosses ’Eye of Order.’"

"What tell me quick." Paul was instantly elated when he heard that it was

something similar to the ’Eye of Order’, "Stop beating around the bush already! If

you keep dawdling I’ll kick your ass right now."

Drake had been listening silently from the side and also had his interest piqued

by their conversation. A special ability similar to his ’Eye of Order’ was quite

intriguing.

’Damn it how ungrateful! Completely unreasonable.’ Peter was a bit unhappy with

Paul’s demanding attitude.

Peter was helpless. He had been expecting Paul to try to beg for it maybe try to

persuade him to share. So that he could make some demands and maybe get

something out of this.

Unfortunately Paul had seen through his plans and he wasn’t having it. ’Humph

did you forget who you are talking to? I know you inside out, Front to back,

upside down and reverse.’

Peter began, "When you use magic power to enhance your vision you usually use

pure magic energy to reinforce right?"

"Well duh! Get to the point already and stop it with the building suspense like it’s

an auction attitude." Paul said impatiently.

Peter ignored him and continued. "I want you to do the same thing you do with

vision reinforcement. Only this time instead of using pure magic power, I want

you to first convert it to Space and Time power first then use this converted power

for the enhancement."

"You mean..." Paul immediately caught on to what Peter was saying and qickly set

into motion. With just a thought his magiic power mobilized and was converted to

Space and Time power.

The next moment. The color of his pupils also changed to resemble Peter’s.

"Wow!"
