Devil Slave (Satan system)-Chapter 1212: The Holy Tool Of...
Enel’s gaze locked onto the Eternal Pool, its milky, swirling surface shimmering with an otherworldly glow.
The same one that lady Vinegar had been floating on top before he had brought her down.
The faint luminescence cast a gentle light on the chamber, painting the chaos in serene hues that felt out of place amidst the destruction.
He took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his decision settle in his chest.
Behind him, Luca’s voice thundered out, filled with urgency and a rare crack of genuine concern. "Enel, don’t!"
But it was too late.
Without hesitation, Enel lunged forward, his body arching as he leapt into the Eternal Pool. The moment his body broke through the surface, a sharp, searing energy coursed through him, wrapping him in a warmth that was both comforting and overwhelming.
Luca’s shout echoed, "You fool! You don’t understand what you’re doing. You will die!"
But Enel did not care for his concern. He had his reasons, and need not explain to no one.
The pool enveloped him completely, its energy surging into every fiber of his being.
At first, a wave of bliss washed over him. The aching wounds across his body closed in an instant, bruises faded, and his strength returned in a rush that was almost intoxicating. For a fleeting moment, he felt invincible, as though he could take on the world itself.
But then, the sensation shifted.

It was as if the pool’s energy turned against him. His veins burned with the sheer force of it, glowing faintly through his skin as though they were on the verge of bursting. His muscles spasmed, his lungs screamed for air, and yet the command law etched onto his forehead flared with protective light, barely holding him together.
The pain was unbearable, yet Enel did not cry out. His jaw clenched, his determination unwavering as he swam deeper into the pool. Each stroke of his arms brought him closer to something only he could sense.
The command law on his forehead pulsed faintly, feeding him knowledge, memories, and the map that had been seared into his mind the moment the late queen gave him the command law. He knew exactly where he was going.
Through the luminous waters, an unseen path unfolded before him. Beneath the Eternal Pool, an underground channel twisted and turned, hidden from all but the one who bore the command law.
This secret passage led to the true treasure of the city—the source of the Eternal Spring’s miraculous power.
The current became stronger, as if the pool itself were resisting his approach, but Enel pushed on. Each movement was a battle, his body screaming under the strain of the energy tearing through him, yet his resolve was unshakable.
And then, he heard it.
A voice, soft yet resonant, carried through the waters, playful and dripping with allure. "Oh, so the new king is already coming to visit?" It was low and seductive, curling around his mind like a whisper meant only for him.
Enel froze for a moment, the words jolting him, but the command law burned again, urging him forward. Gritting his teeth, he swam harder, the water around him growing thicker, its energy more potent with every stroke.
The milky substance transformed, becoming denser and glowing brighter as he neared his destination. The oppressive energy pressed against him, threatening to crush him under its weight. But he pressed on, his goal clear in his mind.
The voice chuckled faintly. "Brave... or foolish... New king... We’ll see."
Finally, the water gave way to a hidden cave. As Enel surfaced and climbed onto its banks, his breath caught in his throat.
The cavern was breathtaking. Giant gemstones larger than boulders lined the walls, their faceted surfaces catching and refracting light in a dazzling display. The air was thick with a sweet, almost intoxicating aroma, the kind that lingered in the senses and promised impossible wonders.
But none of that compared to what stood at the cave’s center.
Embedded within the largest jewel Enel had ever seen was a colossal, transparent arrow. Its shaft gleamed with an otherworldly radiance, almost too bright to look at directly. From its razor-sharp tip, a golden, honey-like substance dripped steadily into the river below. Each drop sent ripples of light through the pool, feeding its magical essence.
The sight was mesmerizing, its beauty almost painful to behold.
Enel’s heart raced as he approached cautiously, his boots crunching against the crystalline ground. The voice echoed again, sultry and inviting.
"Don’t be shy... come closer."
Enel hesitated, his instincts screaming at him to stop in fear of the power before him.
Yet the pull of the arrow, the lure of its power, and the soft, taunting voice left him no choice but to take another step forward.
A soft, shy laughter echoed through the cavern as Enel took cautious steps closer to the towering arrow. It wasn’t just the pool or the cavern alive with energy—it was the arrow itself. The sound, feminine and teasing, wrapped around him, its presence alluring.
As the laughter faded into a breathy sigh, Enel smirked, his gaze fixed on the radiant object. "You…" he began, his voice steady but laced with intrigue. "You have many names. The Whisper of Creation, the Elven Keystone, the Eternal Pinnacle." He paused, his breath catching as the remnants of the pool’s energy still coursed through his veins. His smirk widened as he continued, "But those who truly know… understand that you are much more than that. Different."
The laughter morphed into a sultry chuckle, and then the voice spoke again, emanating from the arrow itself. "Oh, really?" The tone was sweet and seductive, a melody of honeyed temptation. "And what am I, new king?"
Enel tilted his head slightly, his expression unreadable. "You are a…" He hesitated briefly, choosing his words carefully. "… a Forbidden Treasure. A—"
"DON’T!!!"
The voice that had been teasing and inviting turned into a furious roar, shaking the very cavern. A deafening wave of energy exploded from the arrow, a blinding light accompanying the sheer force that struck Enel like a hammer.
He was flung backward, his body crashing against the crystalline floor with a loud thud. Pain shot through his limbs, his breath momentarily knocked out of him as shards of the cavern floor scattered around him.
"Don’t call me that!" the voice boomed, no longer soft or feminine but deep, guttural, and filled with anger. The once-shy, gentle tone was now a growl that reverberated through the cave. "Not a Forbidden Treasure."
Groaning, Enel pushed himself to his feet, his movements deliberate. His body screamed in protest, but his pride refused to let him falter. Wiping a streak of blood from the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand, he chuckled, his face curling into a smug grin.
"You even have an attitude," he muttered, his voice laced with mock amusement.
The arrow pulsed dangerously, a faint hum emanating from it as if warning him not to test its patience.
"The Holy Tool of the Entity... Love."
