Divine Luck: SSS-Rank Battle Maid Harem-Chapter 574: Skinless
Oria was extremely hesitant to answer. It was a term she didn't quite understand herself since it was one the Sesha used to describe traitors. She had only heard it a couple of times. She did not want to give Zach an inaccurate answer.
However, she had also heard some of the Sesha calling him that when referring to his trip around the East with Visla when they tried to broker a peace. For some reason, it didn't feel like they were saying it with ill intentions when talking about it, but it was still a degrading word.
"I think you should ask one of the Sesha about that."
"I have! But they just dodge the question," Zach grumbled with crossed arms. He puffed out a sigh.
Oria had trouble taking him seriously when he was being carried by Yanael.
Eventually, Zach moved on. The Title with 'Skinless' in it was easy to understand. It was probably something along the lines of Traitorous Savior of the East. It made sense. There was another Title that wasn't quite as transparent.
"Are you familiar with Titles, Oria?" He asked after thinking about how to go about it. Just asking her what Rising Sun meant wouldn't get him anything if he wasn't clear about what he was talking about.
"Titles…?" She tilted her head and thought about it.
"I'm assuming you don't mean titles of nobility."
"Nope."
"Then, monikers? Like your father's, the Autumn Swordsman?"
"Yeah, like that."
"Are you wondering if you have any?" She asked, giving Zach a piercing look like she could see right through his vanity.
"No, I know I have four of them. One of the perks of being a summoner," He answered lightly.
Oria's eyes widened.
"I know what three of them mean, but I'm curious about the fourth. Rising Sun. Would you happen to know what it means? I got it after this, I'm pretty sure, if that helps."
"Summoning is really interesting, huh?" She pointed out. Summoners got to know about their monikers, Titles, just like that. Combined with everything else, the art of summoning was strange compared to most everything else Oria could think of.
"Well?" Zach urged her to focus on his question and not get drawn into the allure of summoning. He wouldn't mind getting another summoning comrade, but not right now.
Eventually, Oria nodded.
"I think it's a coincidence."
"A coincidence?" Zach echoed with a frown.
"Well, yeah. I think it's like you're a rising star since you're young and have shot up through the world at a great speed. You're making more waves and casting a brighter light than anyone else at your age."

"Is that why it's sun instead of star?"
Oria shook her head.
"I don't think it's only that, at least not if you got it from the fight against the Hydra. That's the part that's a coincidence.
"The Hydra was to your east during the fight, so the people hiding westward had a clear view of you when you fought. The sun also rose during the battle. Combined with the way you seemed to shine like a beacon, the distinction between you and the rising sun itself blurred. It was like you embodied the sun when you leaped up and fought the mythical giant monster."
Disbelief colored Zach's face. He had not expected such a clear and concise answer, nor such an explanation for his Title.
From that perspective, it made sense. But that made his Title sound very impressive.
"Thanks," he nodded in appreciation for her great explanation before sinking into thought. It didn't take long for those thoughts to turn into dreams, though, as he soon fell asleep with his head against Yanael's shoulder.
Oria would have talked with Lexi if not for the young girl staring at her. Fortunately, Lexi had managed to run back to the Evandiel estate and salvage a few clothes for her familiar. They didn't fit perfectly, and they were boy's clothes since they were left behind when Minatio outgrew them. But they would do until they could go on a shopping spree in the capital.
Lexi glanced back.
Minatio was probably still in the Labyrinth. She wondered if she should stay and wait for him or maybe even return to the Labyrinth and try to catch up to him. With her familiar, she might be able to go deep enough, after all.
But then again, Minatio was pretty strong. He could handle himself. He was also smart enough to piece things together. He would come looking for them when he was done with the Labyrinth. The fact that he hadn't surfaced during all the ruckus caused by the Hydra was a little worrying.
But if he had been caught up in a battle or something, he wouldn't have been able to leave for a while, and since the fights could go on for days that deep in the Labyrinth, it could take days before he returned to the surface.
In the end, Lexi decided to just tag along to the capital. She felt guilty about leaving Minatio behind, especially after what happened when they left Zach behind, but the circumstances were different.
And Minatio had been given free reigns. If he felt that he needed to join the fight against the Hydra, he would have been there. Since he was more interested in the Labyrinth, he wouldn't mind if the others went to the capital. If it came to it, he could always catch up later.
Lexi had a feeling they would be seeing Minatio soon again, regardless of what she decided. So, she stopped thinking too much about it and focused on her familiar again. The little Primordian was too cute. She had to plan plenty of outfits to highlight and bring out as much of her cuteness as possible. The slightly plain boy's clothes fit her surprisingly well, but Lexi wasn't satisfied.
With Zach asleep, Lexi playing with the Primordian, and Oria silent to endure her own fatigue, it was an odd group made odder by the four maids, one of whom was carrying Zach. However, there was no one to see it. The East was bare save for a carriage and two horses in the next encampment they came across.
