It was already nine in the evening. Because Cherish Turner had gone out to handle her visa issues that day and had been delayed in her work, she had voluntarily worked a bit longer. Murmuring to herself, Cherish helped Daniel up and left the bar.
She found a budget hotel near the bar for Daniel to stay temporarily. Everything else could wait until he was sober.
She wanted to leave, but she was ultimately worried as the bartender had said that he had drunk a lot. After much thought, Cherish went downstairs, found a pharmacy, and bought some hangover cure.
When she got back to the hotel, she found that the man who should have been lying in bed was gone! There was the sound of running water coming from the bathroom.

Angry, Cherish pushed Daniel into the water and gritted her teeth, “Daniel Peacock, what karma have I accumulated to have to deal with you in this life? I don’t care whether you live or die! If you freeze to death, you deserve it!”
She threw the towel into the bathtub angrily and was about to leave. The splashing water hit Daniel’s face, causing him to chuckle.
