Chapter 58 -58: His World

William Griffith didn’t mind what he had heard; after all, Cherish Turner had spent twenty-three years living with the Turner family. He could understand and was willing to wait as long as he could be with Cherish.

The problem was, dealing with both sets of parents was not easy, which was indeed a bit tricky.

He also thought about his own family, where the situation was the same.

But what could he do? Among thousands of people, he only wanted Cherish Turner.

They had breakfast at the Turner family’s house, so they didn’t go to the restaurant they had planned to visit. Cherish had to rush to the company, and William naturally offered her a ride.

When they got in the car, Cherish dumped her bag on William and glared at the little bun sitting in the backseat.

“You!” she pointed at Lewis’s nose and said, “At such a young age, how can you be just like your dad? Do you know how much Auntie Cherish likes you, huh?”

Miles Griffith looked at Cherish, then at his dad in the driver’s seat, and pointed his chubby finger at William: “Auntie, don’t blame me, it’s all because of him. How can a child like me compete with an adult?”

“I knew it was you! William Griffith, you’re utterly shameless!”

“Hmm?” In the car, William Griffith completely lost the gentlemanly demeanor he had displayed at the Turner family’s house, and he looked at Cherish Turner with a sidelong glance.

Cherish knew better than to offend the big boss, so she quickly took back her finger that was pointing at him.

“Cherish Turner, do I allow you to be rude to me?”

As a capitalist, you are allowed to dictate every aspect of my life, but I am not allowed to point my finger at you?

William put Cherish’s bag in the backseat and held her down in the passenger seat.

“Hey!”

“Don’t move!” He lifted his head, and his face came closer to hers, so she immediately stayed still.

He was a little too close for comfort, which made her feel a bit embarrassed.

“Why are you leaning so close to me?” She didn’t forget about the time when William kissed her, and she definitely didn’t want it to happen again.

“I’m just trying to fasten your seatbelt. What are you so nervous about?”

William mocked her, his beautiful peach blossom eyes making Cherish’s face turn red.

“Hey, hey, can you two just focus on taking me to school properly?” The little guy in the backseat grumbled, leaning forward to look at the two adults. Who were they showing off their affection for?

“By the way, if you go on the outing alone, Dad, I’m not going!” The little guy had his pride!

Everyone else’s parents went together, and he didn’t want his CEO dad to go alone with him!

“You’ll have to ask Auntie Cherish about that.” William started the car without looking at her.

“Auntie Cherish is deeply resentful of you, the little brat, right now, so you better not provoke her!” Cherish waved her hand to signal.

“Dad, I’m deeply resentful of you right now. Send me home. I decided to skip class again…”

“…”

But soon, Miles Griffith was still kicked into the kindergarten by his dad.

The teacher came out personally to greet Lewis, unexpectedly seeing two people dropping him off, not knowing whether to be happy or disappointed.

That was William Griffith, right? Which woman in H-city didn’t want to have him?

The teacher held Lewis’s hand and walked into the building, while Cherish faintly heard her asking, “Lewis, is that auntie your dad’s girlfriend?” She wondered why she had blindly come to the kindergarten with William Griffith to send Lewis off.

It seemed that William was slowly pulling her into his world…
