Cai Yin woke up feeling a bit tired, but the most blissful, than she ever remembered.

She snuggled in the warm embrace that gave her so much comfort and happiness, that she only now realized, that even after her realization within the Sun Shadow Secret Realm, she was not fully over her feelings, she just learned to face and control them back then.

Now, however, she finally began the process of truly healing, as she had a safe haven in his embrace, and beacon of support to lean on in his eyes.

There was one other change which happened after the night before.

Cai Yin was no longer a Princess in title – having left her Kingdom behind – but she was still a born and raised Royal House member. That too, of a more conservative Kingdom in relation to household affairs.

The robe she arrived into the room in, was a ceremonial robe worn by the bride of the Royal House of Tingren on the first night, secretly brought by Shen Min without anyone knowing.

What took her so long to arrive, was that Shen Min also insisted on Cai Yin taking the bath of special herbs and rubbing in a scented lotion into her skin, just as she would if she was still a Princess, readying for her first night.

Thus, as she entered the room, she followed her bridal lessons received through the female Royal line, including how she revealed her body to him.

Of course, she still became too shy in the midst of it, but Wu Long finished the ceremonial aspect for her, removing the hairpins in the exact correct order to free her hair.

This, coupled with her acceptance of her memories and dealing with the scar of the past, allowed her to reconnect to her roots as a Princess, one who, unlike Song Lingfei who was sheltered by her overprotective father, actively participated in the affairs of the Kingdom as a true Royal and bore all duties related.

And unlike Nie Xiwang who had to struggle against the whole of her family, and held the throne out of survival instinct and partially even spite, Cai Yin was a Royal who fully embraced her role and place from a young age, which seeped into how her personality developed.

Now, having received this gift from Shen Min, she recognized that even if she lost the official title of a Royal Princess, it did not change who she was back then, and allowed her to once again regain even more confidence, as well as that royal grace that now emanated from her every move, word, and gaze.

Even now, completely naked, she still held that poise and presence of a true Royal Princess.

Wu Long’s eyes filled with delight at the sight.

“By the way… I was told to brace myself for Extreme Yang Qi, but it was so… gentle”, she asked, remembering the words of caution from the ladies.

Meanwhile, Wu Long and everyone around him were busy with processing the gains from the Sun Shadow Realm.

Cai Yin was meditating with quartz-like crystals from the Soul Demonic Beasts floating around her. Gong Liwei was getting accustomed to the Wood Qi. And Hong Yue was training with her twin.

Wu Long and Fen Baihu sat in lotus poses across from each other, their two distinct mysterious mists entangling around them, as she helped him transfer the large ore vein and the gigantic tree from his Mystic Realm into hers.

This process was far more smooth as now they had a bond of the Dual Extremes Infinite Union Art, and he was more in control of his Nightmare Fox bloodline.

As he gained more control over this power, the boundaries for him to access her realm became blurry, and unless she explicitly was trying to bar him entry, he could now come and go as he pleased, though, at least for now, he had to concentrate for an extensive period of time to do that.

Wei Lan’s garden was now moved to its own peak, with paifang gates leading to different isolated pocket gardens, and one leading to the newly brought in tree. Wu Long also gave her the Spatial Ring containing all of the herbs and trees he collected in the Secret Realm, which she was busy categorizing and planting.

As he finished the transfer of the ore vein as well, Wu Long followed it to the construction site of the new Infinite Tempers Hall.

This was the only part of the Eternal Duality Valley which currently did not have a leader, who could be called the Hall Master.

Kai Huoshi knew his limitations, and took a position of an Elder, with some ambitions to perhaps one day become a Grand Elder, or even a Deputy Hall Master.

“This…”, Kai Huoshi muttered as he was looking at an entire ore vein of precious 3rd-tier Profound Grade material that appeared near the construction site.

“Mm, you would need to wait for a bit to start extracting it though, as most of the Demonic Beast Blood that I currently have on me is precious ingredients for Talisman ink, a lower quality blood would be just fine for extracting the Scarlet Vein Iron ore from the vein, as long as the quality of the blood is not too poor, it doesn’t affect anything”, Wu Long nodded.

“Haha…”, the former made a slightly dry laugh, as it seemed that Wu Long was missing the point he was trying to make.

His question wasn’t about the specifics of what to do with it, but questioning his sanity. Although, Fen Baihu’s Mystic Realm by itself already was overwhelming, so after a few moments, Kai Huoshi simply wryly smiled with a defeated sigh.

“Which reminds me, aren’t you forgetting something?”, Wu Long then asked, as Kai Huoshi froze, widening his eyes.

But then, seemingly also reminded of something, slightly awkwardly smiled “Ah, my apologies, Valley Master. I-it was so hectic with gathering all of those people…”

“It’s fine, you can just tell me now”, Wu Long nodded.

“Yes, the retractable armor designs indeed came already with schematics, purchased from the Thousand Treasures Trading Company. All five families purchased the plans from them, or rather, they first offered it to the Shan Family, and as they gained advantage, the other families had to scramble to obtain them.”, Kai Huoshi swiftly replied.

“Hmm”, Wu Long mumbled sinking into thought, as it was certainly not completely unexpected, the Thousand Treasures Trading Company being the biggest player in the region, with their influence stretching even to such remote places as the Soft Meadow Continent, where they controlled the Iron Claw Group from behind the scenes.

But it was still not entirely what he had in mind, as he expected it to come from a renowned Forge or something of the sort, not one of the biggest Trading Companies of the Great Fang Dynasty.

Meanwhile, Kai Huoshi added an additional nugget of information, though more in a small-talk manner, “This, it turns out, even though it happened many thousands of years ago, was what ultimately started the downfall of the Kai Family, as those designs cost a national fortune by the time our family bid for them. So the debts from that time began dragging the family into ruin”

“I see”, Wu Long nodded to him, acknowledging that with this their deal was now fully complete. It wasn’t as hard to help Kai Huoshi to spirit away his lover, as she turned out to be a daughter of one of the many vassal families of the Kai Family, who was fully willing to elope with him, so Wu Long’s obligations to him within that deal were also complete. It was now only a matter of long-term mutual benefit which was to come.

“And while I’m here, I want to have you look at this”, Wu Long remembered something, taking out Iron Leaf, and handing it to Kai Huoshi.

The latter respectfully received the sword, carefully unsheathing it.

“… the Spiritual Qi Circuit is completely fried… unbelievable…”, he spoke with both pain and shock.

On one hand, it pained him to see a good sword almost completely ruined, on the other, he couldn’t imagine what Wu Long did for it to be damaged to this extent.

“Do you want to take up a challenge?”, Wu Long smiled.

“…!!!”, Kai Huoshi’s eyes widened as he raised them from the sword to Wu Long, “You mean… Spiritual Qi Circuit reconstruction? But that’s…”

“An advanced technique, yes”, Wu Long nodded, “It’s certainly something you’ll have to do one day, and you’ll never get to them if you don’t strive so I expect you to have it in mind. However, what I am asking you is, are you willing to take a challenge of Treasure Reforging?”

“Reforging… it is certainly a less complicated task… but not an easy one either. Please let me take on that task!”, Kai Huoshi lowered his head.

“You don’t have to keep doing this, I told you when you came in here, I am not very big on formalities in overwhelming majority of cases”, Wu Long replied, as Kai Huoshi raised his head with a slight nod at the end to signal he understood.

“Well, you will have to wait for the forge to be constructed first”, Wu Long nodded.

“Ah… about that… we are still waiting on the Formation…”

As Kai Huoshi mentioned a Formation, Wu Long’s expression slightly soured, though he signaled with his hand to the former to not mind his expression.

This once again reminded him it was his own offer to Lian Zhiqiu to find Formation Masters to work under her in order to ease her burden. Not to mention, he still had to notify her that he spent most of his talismans.

“Haa~… welp, back to being busy I guess… I need to get Old Yen to start digging information on Formation Masters around…”, he muttered as he waved to Kai Huoshi, leaving the Iron Leaf with him, and went on to leave the Mystic Realm.
