Arthur showed a gentle smile in reply to their caring words and replied with a warm tone.

His smile once again made their hearts flutter.

Arthur moved forward as he couldn’t just stop the line. After entering the mine, he picked up a pickaxe that looked like the one he had used on the day he got reincarnated.

It had a blue stone embedded into it with strange runes around it. He knew it was a magically enhanced item due to the fact that he had used it before. It would increase the balance and force of the hit.

He entered the mine, and unlike before, now he could feel the dense mana around him. It was only a faint feeling, but he could definitely feel the pressure increase as he went inside more and more.

He chose a place where the pressure wasn’t so much that he couldn’t handle it and started hitting the blue stones around the wall of the mine.

With the 200% boost he had gotten from his title, it was quite easy for him to mine the mana stones now, especially when using the enhanced pickaxe. His hands were still sore, but he endured the pain and continued mining the mana stone.

From time to time, a few elf guards kept an eye on the slaves working inside by making rounds.

Arthur had filled his first trolley, which he had to take with him every time they came to mine. Now that it was full, he had to slide it a distance to reach the main route, where magically powered trolleys were, which were operated by elves.

Pushing the trolley was usually easy, but due to the fact that he was sore all over his body, it took much more effort than usual, with constant grunts escaping his mouth.

Giving the trolley to the elf in charge, who emptied the trolley and returned it to him, Arthur returned to his position and once again started the same process.

It had been 3 hours since then, and it had been Arthur’s seventh trolley he had delivered to the female elf in charge. He was even sweating now.

While Arthur had gotten the memories of the previous Arthur, including how to do things inside the mine, due to them not being complete, he didn’t realize that male human slaves usually took a break every time they delivered a trolley.

It wasn’t a strange thing, as men are generally physically weaker, especially unawakened humans, so taking breaks was a pretty usual thing to do.

The female elf in charge near Arthur’s route, who was helping him unload the mana stones using her magic, suddenly stopped Arthur after seeing his struggle. She didn’t understand why he was working so hard.

She had worked in the female mine before, and she knew even some female human slaves wouldn’t be able to deliver 7 trolleys full of mana stones in 3 hours.

It hurt to see Arthur, famously known as the most handsome human inside this camp, working so hard that he was struggling, too. It also surprised her that he was strong enough to accomplish this feat, considering he was an unawakened man who couldn’t use magic.

"Why aren’t you taking a break like usual after every trolley?"

Arthur was first confused by why she had stopped him suddenly. He was thinking if he had done something wrong. However, after what she had said, Arthur now realized what he had done wrong and how he stood out.

"Ah, I forgot," Arthur replied.

And told her that he was going to take a break from now on. Even if he had said those words, the guard in charge felt it was quite weird to forget about taking the break. She could clearly see him struggling to walk, which meant he had done this intentionally.
