Frank quickly helped his mom wash the dishes, he in fact washed them all very fast, surprising her just how quick and dexterous he had become.

She giggled amused by her son's vigor, which wasn't something very common. She had always known Frank for being a slightly gloomy, low-profile boy.
But in the last year, he had slowly been gaining more confidence, becoming more talkative and charismatic, and also trying to be more respectful and nicer with his family.

After that taking a second warm shower and then walking back to his room, Frank finally had some more time for himself, despite being a small family, they were rather nosy, and once he started talking about a certain subject, they would just never stop talking.
He sat over his bed and Ruby quickly appeared by his side, stepping out of her subspace where she usually stayed or slept, flying around with her cute tiny wings.
"Ah, Ruby! D-Don't make too much noise, alright?"

Ruby didn't listen, wagging her tail adorably as she quickly jumped over his stomach from the ceiling.
"Ugh?!"
Frank groaned in pain, as Ruby realized she had hit him too hard.
"Graaah? Graah…"
She quickly started licking his stomach to heal him, making him giggle a bit.
"Hahah! W-Wait, don't do that…!"
He gently tried to push her away, but Ruby didn't stop, making Frank all flustered.
Eventually, he felt her claws digging into his stomach! What a careless girl!
"Ugh? Wait, Ruby don't put your claws there, it hurts…! Hahah!"
"Graah?"
Frank sighed, quickly grabbing her and lifting her up, making her look like a kitten with red scales, long tail and big wings.
"And to think you can turn even bigger, huh? Good thing you can shrink, hahah!"
Frank laughed, as Ruby cutely licked his entire face.
"Uagh!"
Although Frank was slightly disgusted, he ended kissing her forehead and hugging her.
If it wasn't for this adorable little dragon, he would have died.
"Thank you for keeping me alive, Ruby…"
"Graah? Gryah!"
Ruby got all happy, wagging her tail and licking him even more at the end.

Eventually, Ruby calmed down once Frank gave him a big piece of monster meat and the bones of a huge skeleton yokai.
"Hah… She's really like a dog, huh? Or a cat? Maybe both… Dragons sure are weird. But they're certainly smarter than other pets."
With peace finally attained, Frank moved towards his Status, glancing at the System Notifications he had gotten.
He had naturally leveled up a lot after that battle against the monsters and Medea.
