"Oi, oi! Why are you running?" Lin Xingzhi's shouts echoed in everyone's ears, especially in the Dragon God's.

After breaking through Alex's formation, the Dragon God and Phoenix Goddess had begun retreating their army together with them. Meanwhile, Alex gradually became weaker and tried his best to handle the dragons that came to stop him.

Knowing he had lost too much power to the point he couldn't suppress the Phoenix Goddess anymore, he gave up on that idea and ordered Lin Xingzhi to pursue those two God Kings first to eliminate every single soldier on their side.

The Dragon God gritted his teeth when he looked behind, finding Lin Xingzhi and her soldiers killing the dragons one by one. At this rate, he and the Phoenix Goddess might have the power to escape from them, but they wouldn't have anything more.

"Lin Xingzhi, you b*tch!" The Dragon God roared but didn't stop in his tracks.

The Phoenix Goddess suddenly sent a thought transmission, asking, 'What are we going to do?'

'We will go to Angel's territory. No matter what everyone says, he is the only one holding our Supreme King's secret. Although this means that only five of us remain with only Bats, Angel, and Snake's armies surviving, this battle is still salvageable.'

'How about Bear?'

'I'm not sure. There is no telling whether our message reaches him or not, considering the Spirit God wouldn't let it happen. Just believe in them to not make any foolish choices.'

'Alright. We will pay them back once our Supreme King has woken up.'

Since the two began creating distance due to their speed, Lin Xingzhi finally stopped chasing and killed the rest of their soldiers instead.

Like how it went with the phoenixes, many corpses of Dragons and Phoenixes were scattered in outer space.

Alex and Lin Xingzhi regrouped. Their eyes intertwined for a while before they looked at each other's bodies, worrying about their injuries.

"Are you alright?" Alex asked.

"Yeah. I'm fine. I have gotten enough information as well to become a more powerful God King."

"Then I'm glad." Alex smiled and panted.

"Are you sure you are alright? You have been fighting a thousand dragons as well as four Rank 2 Gods. Let's take a breather, okay?"

Alex shook his head. "Ask the Song Goddess, Holy God, and Palm God to advance according to our second army, destroying all the bears alongside Anna and the others. After that, they are to march toward the Dragon God and Phoenix Goddess' territories and put an end to all this."

"I understand." Lin Xingzhi nodded with a sigh. "You should rest first."

"I will after handling a few more things." Alex agreed with a serious expression before asking Korzan, who was a bit far away from him. "Korzan! Are you alright?"

"Yes, Your Majesty."

"…"

Before he could reply, the God of Destruction appeared in front of him with a serious expression. "Spirit God."

"God of Destruction." Alex nodded. "How was your fight?"

"It was great and gave me insight."

"That's good."

"Anyway, I would like to thank you for coming to my rescue."

"The others would've come if I didn't ask them to remain in their world."

"Ahaha, it's all within your calculation." He chuckled and knew Alex's plan had crippled the enemy. Unless they had another reinforcement from the Bats and Angel, there was no way they could fight them.

"Still, I'm not sure whether they will stop just like this or not." Alex narrowed his eyes, contemplating this matter.

"What do you mean?"

"The seal should last for another few decades. They should also know about this, but they still feel confident even though the moment I reach God King means game over for them."

"Don't tell me… You're suspecting them to…" The God of Destruction widened his eyes and drew a gasp. If Alex's predictions were correct, it would mean all the efforts they put into this war would become vain.

"Yes. I'm assuming they have a way to accelerate the seal's time limit and unseal that beast before the time limit." He nodded with a tired expression. "I chose to eliminate their soldiers instead of the God Kings for this. I know that killing the Dragon God or anyone else with the concentrated power will give us a huge advantage…

"Unfortunately, there are still Bats and Angel. I couldn't afford to just send all our forces to fight them because of the probability of them appearing on the battlefield. That's why I'm spreading all our troops while having the Holy God, Palm God, and Song Goddess to remain in their territories as our backup plan."

"I see." Raiju understood Alex's plan and had no qualms about it despite not ripping the huge benefit. After all, it would mean that he gambled everything in one instance. The moment the reinforcement appeared, they would be the ones suffering.

Hence, Alex chose the safest but got the most of it.

"So, what are you planning to do next?"

Alex fell silent before smiling. "There is only one option, right? Get stronger of course."

Raiju shook his head helplessly and turned around. "Well, I will also do that. If you need anything from me, just inform me first. I will try to help you to the best of my ability."

Lin Xingzhi returned to his side after settling everything with the soldiers. "Are you going to return to Eulja?"

"I'm planning to go to the Sword God's Pavilion after this to fuse my Sword Qi and Spear Qi together before returning to Eulja to try forming my law. I have a mentor such as you and Alaya, so I think this will be an important step before breaking through to God King in the sealed space."

"My Father's?"

"Yes. I'm planning to train there where I can take advantage of the time flow difference. Ten years inside are one year outside."

"But can you condense your law this fast?" Lin Xingzhi frowned, knowing how hard it was to become a God King.

"I'm not sure, but the enlightenment from before gave me something important to this process. I may be able to do it. No guarantee though."

"Hmm…" She thought for a moment. "I will continue pressuring them. Is that alright?"

"Yes. Just make sure you are present there. Assuming they have the same number as five thousand years ago, that means they have seven God Kings excluding the Supreme Beast. For now, we have killed the Phoenix's pet, so we may find six more God Kings.

"Meanwhile, we have four God Kings in the alliance, Alaya, God of Wrath, and three more God Kings on our side. If we add the Magic Goddess in the calculation, it means we have ten God Kings on our side. It's still not enough."

Lin Xingzhi pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed. "Indeed. When we take another look at the condition, it's still not enough to fight them. Luckily, we have killed all the Dragons, Phoenixes, and Bears. We may be able to exhaust them before killing them with our overwhelming numbers."

"I'm not sure." Alex shook his head. "Well, I need to get stronger as soon as possible."

"There is also Leoz. I hope he can become a God King soon."

"Yeah. He will become a strong one." Alex agreed and continued, "For now, have our N Squads keep track of the enemy's movement. The Dragon God and Phoenix Goddess would surely come to their allies. The same applies to the Earth God and Battle God. We will be able to get their location this time and start pressuring them."

"Should we attack them as soon as we know their exact location?"

"You mean to pressure them? No need. The moment they retaliate, it will become a big problem for us. As long as they don't go anywhere, it's fine for me."

"How about inciting the universe? We can kill them by using more people."

"No. The only reason I gave the information back in the Pill World was to pressure them to make this kind of move. After accomplishing it, I'm afraid there may be some spies in the mix, making the battlefield more complicated than before. I don't want a potential threat coming on my back, so let's wait without doing anything. Let me become a God King first."

"I understand." Lin Xingzhi nodded.

Suddenly, the God of Destruction appeared again and asked, "Oi, do you want to celebrate this victory with lizard and chicken meat?"

Alex's eyebrows twitched as he took a closer look at the dragon's body. According to the Spirit Eyes, the parasite had died the moment the host died. However, Alex still had no intention to eat the meat.

"Instead of eating them, I have another solution. How about we harass them by using their own people?" He smirked as if his head was filled with evil ideas.

"Ho? Let me hear this brilliant idea of yours."

"We should cut all these dragons and phoenixes into pieces and throw them to their planets. Don't people like shooting stars?"

"I have never thought you are this evil, Spirit God. I'm impressed and admired you at the same time. Alright. Let my people do it." Raiju had a big smirk, feeling excited just by imagining it in his head.

Alex's strategy was simple. The Phoenixes and Dragons' bodies were strong and big, so even if they cut them into pieces, they wouldn't easily disappear even if they needed to cross the atmosphere.

If the soldiers threw them from outer space to their planet, they would surely have meteor rain for days. It would be a good spectacle to behold. And if they threw them fast enough, it would create an impact in their world.

Not only would it infuriate the people inside, but they also would be able to kill them and cause mass destruction as well.

"Sure. I will leave everything to you. Just make sure to not destroy them so much since we can't afford to have them retaliate for the time being. You only need to harass them enough to lower their morale. We can wait other than that."

"Alright. I'm fired up." Raiju smiled and raised both hands before leaving again. "See you later, Spirit God. You should rest your body too."

Alex waved his hand and took out a pill to recover from his injury. He also gathered a bit of Divine Energy, so he could reach the Sword God Pavilion from this place.

Before they returned, Alex gathered all the people again.

He looked at their faces. Some were filled with sadness, some contained joy, and some spread anticipation and adoration.

The first thing he did was not opening his mouth but lowering his head.

"Your Majesty?!" The Spirits were stunned by Alex's action. They thought they would hear the shout of joy for their win, but this bow… They didn't know whether they had the right to accept it or not.

However, Alex continued before the silence turned into an uproar. "Before anything else, I would like to show my deepest gratitude for all of you who participated in this war, especially those who had fallen. I couldn't show how grateful I'm to have all of you here as your Leader despite not being a Spirit. Let us take a moment to remember the warriors who once fought together with us."

The Spirits couldn't contain their tears as some of them dropped to their knees.

After two minutes, Alex finally raised his head and said, "Even so, we need to keep walking forward because this war has yet to end. Stronger enemies will appear before us, and even I can't fight them without you all. I hope that you still fight together with me."

The Spirits fell silent for a second before cheering. Their shouts were in the form of praises, admirations, and so on.

"Long Live His Majesty."

"We will follow you until the end."

"Let's destroy the bastards that come to ruin this Universe."

Alex simply smiled and raised his hand again, asking them to be silent. "Before that, we all deserve to rest. All troops, we shall return while holding our heads high!"

"Uoh!"
