The huge explosion swallowed everything, but as the light dimmed down, two figures still managed to stand inside the explosion.

They were the Holy God and the Palm God. The Holy God erected a protective barrier that could withstand his own Light Element Explosion, so it was great.

He dropped on his butt and floated around lazily while saying, "Huft. I don't think I will live that long anymore."

"I'm still perplexed by your actions. Sacrificing your lifespan to send the energy to me?" The Palm God narrowed his eyes, wondering if he had any intention. He told him there was a reason earlier, but he couldn't find one in his memory.

The Holy God scratched the back of his head and said, "Well, it's not that I don't trust the Spirit God, but I think you can still help him in one strike or another by using all your remaining power. Or you can help someone in distress. Actually, I have someone that fits that criteria."

"Really?"

"Yeah. She seems to be planning to die in this battle. I don't know if it's due to the lack of power or not, but I have clearly found a face that looks like someone who has prepared to die. My long experience is still worth it, you know. Hence, I want you to help her by reserving your power." The Holy God smiled.

"Helping someone?" The Palm God narrowed his eyes and asked, "You believe someone will die in this battle?"

"How about we take a look at the previous war? Although none of us died, we were severely injured. Hence, I know that someone needs help."

"Well, I don't mind helping someone, but it depends on who I will be helping. If it's about the Spirit God, I don't think I can help much."

"I don't think you can either."

"Oi."

The Holy God laughed and said, "Still, having one of us die is a bad result since everything has been planned perfectly and arranged, so no one needs to die. That's why I want you to help her."

"Then, who is she?"

"She is…"

Meanwhile, on another battlefield, Anna and Jeanne stood before a huge light blue dragon.

Unlike the Dragon God, he didn't have Ice Element. Instead, his element was Water Element, making him qualify to be a Water God, and he was known as one for the longest time.

However, there was one catch. The Dragon God seemed to be hiding him as a secret weapon in a battle because he didn't claim anything about his existence, making it an empty promise.

That was the reason Lin Xingzhi and the others were taken aback because of their number. Anna and Jeanne needed to fight this new guy without having any information. Considering the others who took on the bats were practically the same, Anna and Jeanne didn't complain about dealing with him.

Anna simply snorted, "To think there is another shameless traitor."

"Indeed. I wonder, how will you scream next when I start torturing you?" Jeanne smirked and released her killing intent. "I haven't tried torturing our enemies with my current power, so I'm curious."

"No need to say anything. You two are going to die. Unlike you, I have been a God King since one thousand years ago. With this power, handling both of you won't be a problem." The Water Dragon snorted and looked down on them.

Jeanne cracked her hands and neck, feeling offended. "It seems someone needs to beat some sense to this guy."

"Well, I will be helping you. You can go wild, Jeanne." Anna shrugged while looking at the Water Dragon.

Suddenly, four huge water balls appeared, circling around him.

To test his strength, Jeanna raised her hand and sent a lightning strike. The lightning was dark red and formed a small sharp like a sword, flying straight to the dragon's head.

However, one of the water balls went between them and received the lightning completely and didn't even explode.

"This is our difference. Your lightning won't be able to win against me because my Water is a Pure Water Element. It has enough resistance to render your lightning useless." The dragon laughed uncontrollably while Jeanne's expression turned dark.

Jeanne narrowed her eyes and released all her lightning. At the same time, Anna also summoned numerous butterflies, spreading them like an army.

"Now it's time to go…" Anna smirked and let them fly toward the dragon.

The Water Dragon obviously thought nothing of these butterflies and summoned water droplets around him. He also marched them toward the butterflies and ended up shooting every single of them.

"This is a child's play." The Water God snorted and released his power to show them their disparity.

Eight water balls gradually changed shape into that of another dragon. But unlike himself, these dragons were like an eastern dragon that had a long body instead of a big one.

"Hydra!"

All eight dragons flew toward Jeanne and Anna, so they needed to handle four each.

Jeanne charged toward them first to check their power and used her sword to cut through this dragon. Jeanne smirked when she reached a dragon's body and plunged her sword to destroy it, but surprisingly, the lightning got dispersed by the water while her sword entered the water dragon body.

After all, even if they were a dragon, they were made of water, so the properties were still there.

Missing her point, she stumbled and planned to gain a distance, but the Water God had appeared right before her face and tried to swallow her.

To avoid that kind of possibility, Jeanne quickly swung her sword and used it as momentum to get away.

"Hahahahaha! Why are you running, Spirit? You're weak against me." The Water God laughed out loud while Jeanne sent him another bolt of lightning.

Unfortunately for her, the latter only prevented it with another dragon that dispersed all the lightning to their surroundings.

"It seems you are underestimating me a little bit." Anna's voice suddenly resounded in their ears as both of them turned around, finding Anna preparing to swing her scythe.

They were shocked because Anna had positioned herself in a perfect way to slash all these dragons.

The Dark Energy covered her scythe and revolved like crazy. Anna swung her scythe to the fullest, creating a thin crescent-shaped dark energy that flew toward her left, front, and right.

"Intangible Darkness Cut."

The Dark Wave cut all the dragons in one go as well as forced the Water God to form a barrier of water to stop that attack before dodging it.

"..." The Water God widened his eyes because he never thought that someone could be this strong, especially a newborn God King. That attack earlier had the power to cut him, so his expression turned serious, knowing he couldn't play around anymore.

Instead of making her next move, Anna shouted in anger. "Jeanne! What is your promise to Alex? Have you forgotten those words you said right after becoming a God King?"

"!!!" Jeanne widened her eyes, never expecting Anna to say something like this. She gritted her teeth and released all her lightning to the surroundings, creating a huge ball of lightning with her in the center. "I haven't forgotten it. I'm going to be useful to Master, so I can repay this debt."

"Good." Anna smirked and challenged her. "Now it's time for you to show it. We will kill this bastard for Alex."

However, it was hard to change someone like that, let alone in the middle of a battle. Hence, Jeanne took a step back and hid behind Anna, saying, "I need time to recharge. I will be able to fight him with all my strength after that."

Understanding that Jeanne seemed to be going to replace something in her element, Anna released all her energy and summoned a giant butterfly behind her.

"Now, now. Let's play with me for a while, okay?" Anna grinned before all her eyes turned black, including the white area.

"Marionette Doll, Self Sacrifice Version."

She hypnotized herself to increase her overall prowess.

The Water God narrowed his eyes, feeling something was wrong. He then summoned another eight dragons to cover him while observing the entire situation.

Anna looked very ferocious to him at the moment, so he didn't dare to step forward lightly.

"..." The Water God also found Jeanne trying to replace her lightning with something else. Seeing how confident she was, the Water God knew that if she succeeded, the battle would be two versus one again since he got an elemental advantage earlier.

He gathered all his resolve and shouted, "Fine. Since you've prepared to die, I will play along with you."

The Water God didn't need to fight for a long time to assess their strength, so this time, he turned all the water in his body into medicinal water. Of course, it had all the basic functions of normal water, but it gave him a power boost as if he strengthened himself with drugs. He wouldn't feel pain or anything, so it was perfect for confronting Anna.

Anna grinned and charged forward. To respond to Anna's action, he also went forward.

Anna swung her scythe that carried a huge amount of Dark Energy while the Dragon sent forth his claw that was covered with water as if it was a glove.

The two clashed as Anna's Dark Element flew all over the water's surface. The Water God successfully negated the Dark Element to avoid it touching her, so only the claw and scythe collided earnestly.

As one would expect from a dragon, the Water God pushed Anna back with his strength alone.

Even Anna could feel the strength and knew it was impossible to compete with him. Jeanne would be much more suited to fight him to be honest, if she had a good element. And her job was to buy enough time, so Jeanne could buy time for her to unleash another big move to cut him down. That was their plan.

Hence, Anna charged forward again without caring about her body and clashed with the Water Dragon for a few minutes. During this time, they caused destruction everywhere, and shock waves kept shaking the area.

Anna paid no heed and continued fighting him without thinking of her own safety. One by one, her body began to be covered with blood because the Water God was stronger in this area.

Seeing this, Jeanne gritted her teeth and focused on the creation, so she could help Anna as soon as possible. Even though Anna was considered her friend, her status was still Alex's wife, so her safety was her priority.

And the way to save her was to kill the dragon with the new power she tried to create. This Lightning was a bit different from her other Blood Lightning because she specifically changed the attribute.

Of course, Anna wasn't the only one receiving the attacks. She managed to create wound after wound on the dragon's body, but her condition was much worse compared to him. Besides, the Water God had changed his tactic and used everything he got to end the fight as soon as possible unlike the previous war where they got a number advantage.

A few minutes passed, and Jeanne's voice resounded in their ears.

"Ethereal Bloody Lightning."

Jeanne released another lightning bolt and turned it into a dragon like the Water Dragon.

"It's useless!" The Water Dragon also used a dragon from his Element, clashing with Jeanne's dragon.

However, a smirk appeared on Jeanne's face as she snapped her finger and the dragon suddenly turned into a thread. Instead of clashing head-on, the lightning dragon circled the dragon and tightened like a rope, squeezing the dragon with its mighty power.

"You won't let my lightning travel through your water, right?" Jeanne smirked and continued, "Then, it also means I can force my lightning to travel on the water's surface."

Not only the blood lightning tied the dragon, but it kept making its way toward the Water God.

"!!!" As one would expect, the Water God didn't expect Jeanne to pull this card and started sweating. The bolt of lightning exploded right before his face.

Boom.
