This time, the battle was between the Blood God and the Life and Death Goddess.

Alaya's small body couldn't be compared to the Blood God's big body filled with muscles. This looked like a two meters strong man fighting against a middle school kid. It was bullying at this point.

However, Alaya simply said, "You look so big compared to my body. How about you give me some muscle and fat so I can get a bit taller and bigger? I mean, you're known as the Blood God, right? I'm sure you can do something like that."

"!!!" The Blood God just felt annoyed by her remarks and said, "You're just a deserter from the past. Do you think you have the right to even ask that question?"

"Yes, of course, I have no intention of denying it. Even with the other Gods convincing me to leave, it was still my decision." Alaya shrugged. "Well, who cares about it now? After this war, I can return to Eulja and enjoy my retirement life. Unlike you who have nowhere to go other than hell. Wait, no… Since you're going to die in my hand, there's no way you can reincarnate. After all, I will cut everything, including your soul to prevent you from experiencing the next life, including Heaven, Hell, and Reincarnation."

She stuck her tongue out and didn't feel bothered with her past decision.

"You're just going to run away again like what you did in the past." The Blood God shook his head in disappointment as if he believed one hundred percent of what he said.

Alaya simply shrugged, not offended by this statement. Instead, he threw back another insult. "Well, this small body of mine can show you about it. I am worried because I don't know if you can handle it or not. After all, a big boy is trying to be a big boy just because of his size. Not mature at all."

The Blood God finally released his Blood Energy and Divine Energy, pressuring Alaya's small body.

Since the other party had become serious, she raised her vision and rechecked the count on her Life and Death Coffin.

13,900

Her eyes then started glowing again, black and white according to Life and Death Energy. The Death Energy in her right hand gradually formed a scythe while the Life Energy turned into a knife. She then pointed her knife toward him, saying, "Now, let me use this small one to chop your body. It's not going to cut you in half, so it can give you a bit more pain than my scythe."

The Blood God couldn't handle it anymore and cut both palms with the nails until blood came out of the palms. It then formed a pair of dark-red swords as he pointed one of them toward Alaya. "You're dead."

"Yep, I will die… In another four thousand years, of course. Can't help but die from old age, you see." Alaya shrugged, insulting him again.

"Gr!" The Blood God gnashed his teeth and leaped forward. "Blood Slash."

"Life Cut." Alaya snorted and struck his blood sword with her knife.

The Blood and Life Energy clashed, trying to invade each other, only to find both of them failed miserably.

The Blood God then raised his other sword and struck her from the side.

Alaya simply used the scythe's handle to stop it before lowering his giant scythe to cut his body down.

Even the Blood God didn't expect Alaya to exert this amount of power to the point she became stronger than him.

'Was she always this strong?' The Blood God furrowed his eyebrows before taking one step back to avoid all his predicaments before slashing the blood horizontally.

Alaya simply recreated the knife into a shield and blocked the attack with a simple block before slashing her scythe toward the Blood God.

"!!!" The Blood God managed to react and blocked the scythe, but Alaya used the force from the Blood God's attack to launch her to the right so she could rotate the scythe, allowing her to reach his arm.

"!!!" The Blood God felt it was like a bee's sting, but there shouldn't be something that would endanger his life or so he thought.

The counter on the Life and Death Coffin decreased by a hundred, making it look like his life got sucked into the coffin. Of course, he didn't feel anything, making him feel weird to see that number to the point he thought it was just a scam to scare him.

However, Alaya was the past generation God King, so she wouldn't do something meaningless. Hence, he believed there was something behind that number. The Earth God also told him about this Life and Death Coffin that seemed to be able to kill them easily as long as the count reached zero.

He decided to believe it as well and tried his best to avoid any touch with her power.

Unfortunately for him, Alaya already knew his thoughts and swung her scythe. "Life and Death Cycle. Unending Samsara."

The Blood God felt danger from that attack and quickly dodged to the side as it touched only a bit of his toes, but the effect was apparent.

Because of the sudden decrease in lifespan, he felt his soul get drained by something invisible. He raised his vision and drew a gasp.

12,800

"One little mess up is costing me one thousand years of my life?" The Blood God narrowed his eyes and raised his hand, dispersing the blood sword into Blood Droplets.

"Blood Shaman."

The droplets suddenly changed shape into a needle before the Blood God launched them toward Alaya.

Alaya narrowed her eyes and used Life Energy to form a giant shield to block all those attacks.

However, the Blood God actually used that opportunity to go around her and turned the second sword into a dragon.

"Blood Dragon."

"Oi, oi! How can you turn that much blood into a dragon this big?" Alaya narrowed her eyes and shook her head in confusion. "Anyway, time to cut this dragon down then."

She raised her scythe again, planning to do the same attack.

A trace of confidence appeared in the Blood God's eyes as it clearly showed her that no matter what she did, she wouldn't be able to pierce it.

Unfortunately for him, Alaya chose to do something even more incomprehensible. She threw away that scythe toward the dragon's neck before it exploded, destroying all the Blood Energy with her Death Energy.

"What?!" The Blood God widened his eyes and looked at the dragon. He tried to recover it, but Alaya's Death Energy prevented him from healing the dragon.

She then appeared right before him and swung her knife at him.

The Blood God managed to avoid it, but Alaya's intention wasn't him from the start, so she spun her body while waving her hand toward the dragon.

"Life and Death Misery."

The Death Energy that had returned to its original form, the claw, released crescent-shaped Death Energy waves and split the dragon into slices.

The blood burst out as if something exploded inside, releasing so much blood toward her. Since the enemy was Blood God, she quickly protected herself from the blood to avoid being taken advantage of later on if it smeared her body.

A translucent white layer appeared, preventing it from reaching her. But this seemed to be the Blood God's scheme as the blood suddenly turned into small spears, stabbing her barrier until it was broken.

Then, the Blood God sent one powerful swipe to her stomach.

"Gah!" Alaya widened her eyes and spat a mouthful of blood when the hand landed on her stomach as if the blood was just forced to leave her body through her mouth.

She then leaped back to her original position to assess the situation.

"Haha, I thought you were better than this, Life and Death Goddess." The Blood God snorted.

However, he once again found that his lifespan got shortened by a large margin.

It took another two thousand years from him, reducing his lifespan to a mere ten thousand eight hundred years.

"Do you think so?" Alaya smirked and lowered her vision.

"!!!" The Blood God realized and raised the hand that attacked her, finding the Black Energy started corrupting his hand.

He gritted his teeth and made his own hand explode, splashing all the blood inside it.

"Hoh! You're quite concerned about that energy, eh?" Alaya smirked and teased him about it before throwing the white knife.

Before it reached him, the Blood God turned the splattered blood into a human replica wielding a spear. Everything was made of blood and he even used it to stop that knife, preventing anything from touching him. After all, Alaya had shown that everything around her would surely become a weapon that took away his lifespan.

He thought for a moment and summoned another one with the same blood before ordering them to move forward to kill Alaya.

"Hoh?! A weird technique." Alaya smiled, feeling confident she wouldn't lose even with the two blood soldiers helping him. She summoned another set of weapons and struck the first blood soldier with her scythe so as to not go too close.

When she was about to form a shield to block the second one, Blood God's voice echoed in her ears.

"Do you think you managed to outsmart me earlier?"

"!!!" Alaya suddenly spat another mouthful of blood before noticing that the Blood God actually knew that he got injured by Alaya's power and let his blood smear her clothes. When the second one was about to strike, the blood turned into another small spear and pierced her abdomen.

"The residual blood?!" Alaya panicked for a moment and looked at him. "You… You have been acting this whole time?"

"Correct." The Blood God smirked. "That's why I'm disappointed… It turns out the Life and Death Goddess is only this much. It seems I have surpassed your past achievement. This time, I will kill more than one God King to help my king! Die for my sake!"

When the second blood warrior was about to strike her, she suddenly raised her hand as if planning to grab the spear. But Alaya's hand went faster than usual and plunged the second blood warrior.

Without him knowing, the first blood warrior seemed to disappear also as if someone destroyed them to the very atom.

But the Blood God realized soon that Alaya was the one actually absorbing the Blood Energy into her body. Her wound closed in an instant as her complexion turned normal as if nothing happened.

"Ah, by the way, do you not know that Blood is the source of life no matter how you see it? Thank you for the supply." Alaya smiled, genuinely thanking him. "Do you know that we both can act so well?"
