Xin Yan's eyes turned cold at the sight of her son's murderer. If not for Noah's seals suppressing her cultivation she would have killed her right there with simply her murderous aura.

"What did you come here for?"

Noah decided to break the silence, he looked the maid in the eyes and asked in a cold voice.

The maid could feel pressure just from the gaze of the boy which shocked her. She felt humiliated because she had to lower her eyes just from the look in his eyes.

She clenched her fist and replied in a cold tone but she could not meet his eyes.

"The head of the family has asked for you both in the meeting hall."

Noah nodded and looked at Xin Yan and Elysia. They both nodded seeing his eyes. Elysia being the spirit of the world can choose to hide herself from whoever she wants to.

"Then lead the way." Noah commanded, causing the maid to flinch but she still complied with his order.

'What happened to him, he became even more domineering.' she exclaimed in her mind while turning to walk forward.

Xin Yan had already kept all of their belongings in her storage ring. So without any delay they all followed behind the maid.

Before they knew they were in front of the gates of the meeting hall.

The maid went and knocked on it. An imposing sound came from inside the room.

"Enter!"

After getting permission to enter, all of them walked inside the room after opening the gates. Noah found himself in familiar surroundings just like the day he first arrived in this world. Inside the room everyone was sitting in their seats looking at the mother son duo with Shock, astonishment and some even held different kinds of feelings towards the duo.

The first elder's eyes were flaring with lust as he saw the new improved looks of the woman he has been wanting to possess. Noah narrowed his eyes sensing all these changes inside the room and a dangerous glint flashed his eyes.

He stood in the middle of the hall and twirled his fingers. Xin yan could feel what he did but did not show any change of expression on his face.

Long Chen's expression was no different from the rest of the people in the room but he still managed to hide well from the rest of the people in the room.

"You seem to have changed!" His voice could not hide his surprise. "Yeah, Since I could not cultivate using the Qi, I chose to cultivate my body." His words made the people in the room sigh in relief which in turn caused Noah's lips to twitch.

'At Least hide you are plotting against me! Amateurs…' Noah exclaimed in his mind as he saw the look of realization dawn on their face. Even Long Chen sighed in relief hearing those words.

Their reason for the relief was that body cultivation is way more difficult and resource consuming than the Qi cultivation where the cultivators have to use resources to forge their body and during this process they also have to suffer an enormous amount of pain which could even lead to inter injuries.

'No matter how hard you have cultivated you cannot achieve breakthrough without resources. Haha!'

He could see the impatient look in the eye of the family member so he decided to get to the point.

"As you know, the three month period came to an end today." His word carried the weight and authority of the patriarch of the Long family. A look of grief appeared on his face as he continued.

Long Chen's eyebrow twitched at his plain response.

If looks could kill, Long Chen would have died thousands of times with the look he was getting from Xin Yan.

"Meh! I will be Fine. You should be careful of old Age too 'Grandfather'." Noah politely replied, catching everyone off guard. The people who were drinking tea spit it out, some did it on the floor while some spitted it on the nearest person they were sitting to.

*Cough* Long Chen Coughed to control his anger and nodded at the filial words of his grandson. "Well, Since I have nothing else to do I should leave now." Noah spoke seeing no point in staying here but before he could turn to leave a voice stopped him in his tracks.

"What's the hurry, boy? You didn't even greet me. After all, I am your in-law,"

The voice echoed in the room, everyone looked at Long Tian waiting for the drama to unfold.
