This solution they found might be impossible for others to do, but they are limitless, so they can do it. All they need to do to sever their link to ANNIHILATION is have a portion of themselves in the time stream commit suicide.

If those versions of themselves commit suicide and cease to exist before the power of ANNIHILATION reaches them in the time stream, ANNIHILATION will lose contact with them.

Of course, this solution will only work because ANNIHILATION is still currently shackled. ANNIHILATION can currently only attack one version of them at once instead of every version of themselves across time and space.

So if they create a break in this attack, the rest of Legion on the other side of the time stream might gain respite from ANNIHILATION. At least, they will be safe until ANNIHILATION becomes free and can jump across the time stream to kill them.

The solution is there, but they can’t execute it because no Legion is going to commit suicide. They are Supreme laws, so they will never give up without fighting. They won’t stop fighting until they become Supreme.

It doesn’t matter what part of the time stream they are in; they will always fight to the best of their abilities. If they don’t take their last breath, the fight will not be over.

So asking them to commit suicide is a fool’s dream. They would rather die to ANNIHILATION than commit suicide without a fight.

Legion-7 sighed and said, "It is just not possible."

Legion-2 thought of something. So he suggested, "So we can’t fight the ABSOLUTE, and we can’t commit suicide. We are running out of time and wiggle room in the time stream to make a decision. I suggest that since we can’t go forward, we should go backward."

Every clone’s eyes lit up when they heard that.

Legion-10 said, "That’s a wonderful idea. If we can’t fight ABSOLUTE, let’s fight the Time Lock. We should at least be able to defeat the Time Lock with everything we have now."

Legion-1 agreed completely. He said, "Let’s remember. If we remember, it will at least give us more time to prepare for ABSOLUTE. It is the best solution for us since we don’t have the potential to become an ABSOLUTE."

They were all in agreement with the plan. So they didn’t waste time in executing it.

Currently, they have finished their understanding of the Time Lock and the evolution of their existence to fit it. So they have the confidence to defeat it compared to defeating ANNIHILATION.

The other thing that gave them confidence is the Transcendence Boat. If they can understand it and evolve themselves to fit it, their aspect of Independence will be able to take another leap in quality and help them beat the Time Lock.

After making up their mind, they settled in comprehending the Transcendence Boat immediately. Every version of themselves still available in the Time Stream was busy with it while ANNIHILATION was slowly destroying them from the future.

The Transcendence Boat can’t save them from ANNIHILATION because it is an external tool that can only cut them off from the influence of the world around them.

If they have already been influenced by the world, the best that the Transcendence Boat can do is prevent the world from influencing them for a while. It can’t cure their illness. It will only give them a short respite.

That short respite might actually be useless. It depends on the power of the entity that has already influenced them.

For example, despite having the Transcendence Boat, the god of soul couldn’t get rid of the infection in her existence. That infection was also growing stronger and spreading despite being cut off from Legion.

So the Transcendence Boat can’t save them from ANNIHILATION. Maybe the fusion of the Time Lock and Transcendence Boat will work against ANNIHILATION. But they are not willing to take any chances.

When they were done combining the power of the Time Lock and Transcendence Boat into their existence, what they attacked was the Time Lock behind them, not the ABSOLUTE in front of them.

The Time Lock refused to allow them to go back. It refused to let the events of the past change. But with the power of the Transcendence Boat, they can cut off its influence on them.

They combined their power with Unity and used it to overcome the resistance of the Time Lock. The best that they could achieve was being able to send their consciousness and memories across the time stream as a message to their past. But it was good enough.

Their mind was wrapped by the strange power of the Transcendence Boat. It is strange because they have lost the power of all of their 12 aspects, yet this power was still with them.

As their minds flew across the past, they eventually reached the point where they made their Supreme law. By their estimate, this should be the farthest point they can reach.

Without a Supreme law, even if they have their memories of the past, they shouldn’t be able to do what they are doing. So they should stop at the moment when they finish making their Supreme law.

But they didn’t stop. Their minds left the time stream and hopped into their Origin through a previously unknown thirteenth channel.

To say they were baffled would be an understatement. They didn’t know that there was ever a thirteenth channel. So they were very surprised when it appeared at the moment they made their Supreme law.

When their minds entered their origin, their minds became unshackled and unclogged. All the things that they had experienced so far became crystal clear to them.

They saw that an invisible 13th aspect was created when they made their Supreme law. This aspect was the aspect of Independence. They had been using it, but they didn’t know that they had it because it shouldn’t exist.

This 13th aspect was created somewhere in their past. Because it had the potential to become an Absolute, it didn’t disappear whenever the Time Lock reversed time and they forgot about it.
