Dark shadowy energy loomed on the forms of 200 corpses of some of the S ranked diabolic beasts sprawled lifelessly on the large icy field where Kailen stood currently.

A few moments later , towering obsidian clad replicas of the 200 corpses appeared before Kailen.

The corpses from which the shadow creatures had formed, dissapeared back into the storage ring .

" Master "

The 200 shadow creatures,all at the rank 1 beginner ascendant stage , bellowed in subdued synchrony.

Kailen had no time to be surprised they could communicate.

He had even seen Everfrost ,Vengeful and the other ascendant level shadow creatures bickering with words in the shadow expanse,however he had no time to care about them.He had too much on his mind right now to be excited or surprised that his shadow creatures could currently communicate with him.

Kailen voiced with his thoughts for them to enter the shadow expanse.

"Time up"

The time dilation artifact voiced ,this time not with the usual Tsunderelike nature.

Kaiken nodded, his yes, cold,his expression calm,his face stoic.

He dissapeared from the pocket world.

"You broke through to the S rank in just 10 hours?"

Everyone stared at Kailen with shock.

Kailen merely forced a smile. He didn’t show any reaction to anything they said. All he could think of at this point was letting lose on the diabolic beasts and killing Arkon Xandros.

" What’s wrong Kai"

Arrie asked.

The young man sighed.

He took Arrie to one of the rooms in the private jet, then handed over the diary of his parents to her.

"What’s this?" Arrie asked.

Kailen didn’t speak. He simply gestured for her to read it.

Arrie curiously opened the diary.

She started reading everything.

Her expressions started changing from curiosity, to shock. Her hands finally started shaking as tears started falling from her eyes.

Finally, she reached the final page, the part about Kailen’s parents talking about informing him of having a younger sister soon.

"Oh Kai" Subduing her shock from all the absurd revelations she drew Kailen in for an embrace.

" I’m so sorry Kai" Arrie cried as she spoke.

Kailen didn’t say a word.

However his tears were a solid proof of the pain he was experiencing .

" I didn’t just lose my parents that day. I lost my sister too "

Arrie’s heart was bleeding at this point.

This was the first time she was seeing Kailen cry. It meant that he was very hurt.

" I’ll make sure to restrict my strength so that I can beat him to a pulp and kill him slowly"

Kailen furthered. There no sounds of sobbing in his voice, only silent tears.

" And that uncle of mine, I’ll hunt him down one day, and make sure he dies in the most gruesome way possible"

Arrie remained silent, comforting Kailen " I’m here Kai. No matter what you have to go through, or what you plan to do, I’ll stand by you"

Massive looking diabolic beasts were roaming the battlefield, rampaging individuals who looked like ants into nothings.

Awakened were roaring with various affinities ,clashing with the diabolic beasts here and there.

Individuals were being pummeled into meat paste.

Gore innards of awakeners and diabolic beasts were seen lying here and there.

" Shit" Lee cursed , clashing with a massive collusus that looked like a snake with the limbs of a crocodile.

The monstrosity crashed into him with its tail, sending him hurtling through the air.

His collosal figure crashed into a couple of awakeners sending them straight to the afterlife.

On a battlefield of this scale, weak awakened were literally a burden. In fact, they had signed their death warrant by being here.

Massive craters spread several kilometers wide, extreme vibrations rippling through the earth.

Lee grimaced ,then shouted " Angie, if you don’t show up you are gonna be a widow for God’s sake. What’s taking you so long ?"

" Just a second hun"

Five large massive spears coated with some blackish substance ,obviously one of Kailen’s poison potions suddenly appeared in the sky, casting large shadows on the battlefield.

Whoooosh.

The spears shot towards the serpentine creature with the limbs of the crocodile ,alongside several S ranked diabolic beasts with massive speed, tearing through the air.

The Rampaging Beserker caught about 3 of the spears after performing a massive jump into the air , slamming the spears into 3 collosal birds boasting Eldritch like mouths, approaching him from the skies.

Boooooooom!

The creatures slammed into the ground with their massive head cleaved into two, as the earth drank the fountain of blood spraying from their heads into the ground. Shockwaves spread through multiple directions , the impact causing weaker diabolic beasts to lose their bearing.

Awakeners who were A ranked and below stayed away from this area, afraid of being caught in the friendly fire.

Heck, even some S ranked awakeners had to stay away from this area, as the duo wreaking havoc at the moment were just on another level.

The remaining spears being controlled by Angela , currently hiding somewhere on the battlefield, were precise in their movements , making contact with the obvious weak spots of the creatures, their eyes, causing oceans and sprinklers of different colors of blood to rain down on awakeners and diabolic beasts and alike.

Suddenly, the massive beasts ,the victims of the attacks shriveled, letting out their last bestial roars.

Their bodies became static,paralysed , as they fell down ,their massive bodies kicking up a cloud of dust and massive shockwaves. Craters several kilometers wide appeared on the ground spreading far and wide . Cracks and crevices graced the battlefield, some awakeners and diabolic beasts being sent to the afterlife as a result of the attack.

Jane suddenly was on another part of the battlefield. She stood up as she downed one bottle of an S ranked recovery potion made by Kailen" Incredible. Not even a second has passed and I’m at my peak "

" Kill them fucking bastards!"

Large earth spikes appeared wherever she passed, rippling some diabolic beasts approaching her from different angles apart.

Her frial looking hands were covered in massive earth blades , as she weaved through one diabolic beast after another.

Just when an attack was about to land on her from one diabolic beast, the creature popped into gore blood .

" THANKS FOR COVERING ME SNIPER"

She bellowed thanking Angela for covering her.

Not caring whether or not Angela heard her, she moved .

Jane was moving so fast that she was literally a phantom at this point . Wherever she passed,devastation followed.

Diabolic beasts were falling like grains of rice.

Lee was ripping through Diabolic beasts after another.

The Rampaging Berserker tore heads apart,smashed skulls, dug eyes out, sent innards of beasts flying out through their mouths as he roared with ferocity.

The battlesuit covering his collosal body had expanded to its limits, serving as a layer of protection against the attack he just received.

A massive Diabolic beast that looked like ginormous buffalo had just rummed into him,causing him to be sent skidding a few distances away.

Thanks to the battlesuit’s protection and his absurd physical defenses, he was still strong.

" Think you are so tough err"

He crashed with the horn of the buffalo in a span of several seconds , each clash producing ear splitting sounds and incredulous explosions.

Awakeners bellowed after they saw the awe inspiring and blood pumping scene of these veterans reaping one life after another.

" Cut their heads off"

" I’m gonna rip them apart, damned beasts "

" This is for killing my girlfriend "

Various affinities rung throughout the environs , as an apocalyptic scene ensued.

Individuals on the Rath Continent were watching from the comforts of their homes, praying that humanity succeeds.

If these beasts breached the boarder, the continent was bound to become like the Narama continent, or even worse.

They couldn’t even entertain the thoughts of how they would die.

Kailen stood atop the opening of the private jet.

" Dude, so you really want to head straight to the extreme zone of the border as soon as possible?.

Thought you were gonna meet the others first. Besides, why not fight alongside us for a few minutes" Charles bellowed.

"Yeah man. We are not worried about you but, let’s fight as a group for a few minutes before you heard to the extreme zone "Micheal added.

Kailen turned to stare at Arrie who just shrugged as though she were saying " it’s your call "

Kailen sighed . Now that they mentioned it, they had never fought together on the same battlefield before due to Kailen’s disparity in strength .

He was seething with rage right now and couldn’t wait to unleash catastrophy on the diabolic beasts.

However ,he could fight with his friends for a few minutes before he started to look for the big fries right?.. " Fine, let’s do it"
