The man cowered in fear , memories flashing through his head. The last time the young sir gave him a beating, he was left in the hospital to naturally recover for one week without the intervention of any healer. The pain was unbearable for him. His whole back was now full of scars.

Everyone left the room, leaving Helena Hall and Donalds behind.

Donalds relaxed in his seat, staring at the ceiling as he spoke .

Donalds chuckled " There I was lecturing Kim about breaking someone’s heart when I’m no different"

Donalds sighed. He had been too impulsive when he was young. Anyway, the harm has been done . At least Helena was willing to give him another chance. It was just that she was too focused on her research now to consider a relationship . If only she could experience a breakthrough .

Are you asking because of concern for the research as a dean of Zanpala university or because you can’t wait to get back together with me" Without waiting for Donalds to respond ,she continued "The exchange event with the overseas researchers really helped. There has been a breakthrough recently. It seems the Antartica expedition may have to be rescheduled earlier because of that. However there’s one last thing we have to figure out before we can finally have fruitful results . You can visit the research department to observe the current results personally when you have the time"

Helena stared at Donalds, currently sighing with a dissapointed expression . It seems Helena still wouldn’t go out with him. There was one final piece to the puzzle of the research. She couldn’t afford to be distracted now. However, he could wait till after that.

" I said when the research experiences a breakthrough. Not when the research experiences the final breakthrough. Come on , let’s go tell my daughter we are a couple. Donalds’ figure flashed . The next thing Helena saw was being in his embrace as he patted her hair.

The duo remained tightly in each other’s embrace, lost in their own world.
