45: Chapter 45 Heart Flutters_1

45 -45 Heart Flutters_1

In the end, only Zheng Qing went to consult in the flight attendant’s lounge.

Li Meng was busy caring for three pets and a trembling, injured little elf, and she even dragged Monk Shi Yuan nearby to help her. ƒreewebɳovel.com

Xiao Xiao was hastily flipping through his large black notebook, his brows furrowed.

So, shrugging his shoulders, Zheng Qing decided to go by himself.

The flight attendant’s lounge was at the entrance of the buffet restaurant, with the door half ajar.

Through the glass window, he could see a flight attendant lying on a table, covered in her uniform.

With a moment’s hesitation, Zheng Qing finally opened the door and greeted, “Hello, excuse me.”

The flight attendant lay there, not moving, seeming to whisper something under her breath.

Zheng Qing took a few steps forward, and a delicate fragrance, similar to the one emanating from the tips of the little elf’s wings, wafted into his nostrils.

“Hello!” He spoke again.

The flight attendant still lay motionless, but now Zheng Qing could clearly see her shoulders trembling.

“Hello, do you need help?” He asked again, somewhat worried.

A strange feeling engulfed him — because this was the question the flight attendants usually asked him.

“Hungry.” The flight attendant moaned, her arms tucked under her.

“Hungry?” Raising his head, Zheng Qing turned to glance at the buffet restaurant outside the door, somewhat puzzled, “There’s a lot of food outside, what do you want to eat?”

“Can I eat anything?” The flight attendant stopped trembling and slowly raised her head.

Her jet-black hair hung messy on her face, highlighting her fair skin, exceptionally dazzling.

But what was even more dazzling were her eyes.

A pair of crimson eyes, glittering with a crazy gleam, beautiful eyes.

Not too long ago, Zheng Qing had seen these eyes on the face of a ferocious boar demon.

The appearance of these eyes on a beautiful, well-shaped female flight attendant made Zheng Qing feel dazed, almost as if he was dreaming.

The corner of his eye caught a glimmering, green light.

He stiffly turned his neck to look at the corner of the room.

The group of missing little elves had neatly formed a circle, their bodies radiating a dim green light.

In the circle was a woman’s corpse leaning against the corner.

The woman’s hair hung low, obscuring her face.

Her chest had been torn open, revealing an empty cavity.

Blood trickled from the wound, staining the floor around her a bright red.

The little elves were laboring to scoop up the fast drying blood from the ground, feeding it into the woman’s pale and slightly parted lips.

The blood slid down her esophagus into her cavity, then flowed out from the horrifying wound on her chest.

She was the master of the little elves.

Now she was dead.

They were soon to die as well.

They didn’t want to die.

For some reason, Zheng Qing strongly felt these little creatures’ despair and unwillingness to give up.

The flight attendant stood up.

She slowly walked to Zheng Qing, bowed her head, her nostrils flaring rapidly near his neck.

“You smell so good,” she murmured, her voice soft and sweet, tinged with a frustration, “Why do you smell so good?”

Just like a girl in love complaining to her boyfriend.

Zheng Qing’s hair stood on end.

For the first time, he knew what it felt like to have his hair stand on end.

Sweat poured from his pores, stripping away the heat from his body.

A chill began at his neck and spread to his back, quickly enveloping his entire body.

“Are you a demon?” His tongue was dry, and he asked in a hoarse and off-pitched voice.

“Guaranteed genuine.” The female demon smiled at him, extended her pink tongue, and licked her blood-red lips, “May I ask, can I eat you?”

In Zheng Qing’s terrified gaze, the female demon laughed elegantly.

The female demon was none other than Nikita, who had snuck into the charter plane of First University.

As part of the Mist Captain’s grand plan, she needed to infiltrate First University.

But she hadn’t expected to be exposed so quickly.

Under the agreement with the captain, she would only be officially included in the ship’s registered crew of the Mist Ship after successfully infiltrating the top university and causing a significant commotion to attract the attention of the school’s higher-ups.

Her demonic identity being discovered prematurely, not to mention becoming a formal crew member of the Mist Ship, left her uncertain whether a wrathful captain might tear her apart.

“But, it smells so good.” Nikita took a deep breath, the alluring aroma flooding her chest cavity; every cell in her body was on edge.

The last time she experienced this kind of hunger was in Sahara, when she encountered Teacher Ulrich.

At the time, she hadn’t had a blood meal in half a year.

The spicy beetles tasted incredibly delicious in her mouth.

Now, she was very sure she was not hungry, but the scent coming from this young man was too enticing.

This unusual scent stirred up memories buried in her blood.

She, who had been quietly hiding in the break room, couldn’t resist attacking the flight attendant on duty.

The demoness opened the drawer of the desk beside her.

It was empty inside, except for a circular, extravagant white porcelain plate, upon which sat a dark red heart.

The heart appeared to still be alive, occasionally twitching, squeezing out a few drops of viscous blood, adding a touch of color to the dry porcelain plate.

The demoness reached out her delicate hand and picked up the heart.

The little elves around there suddenly stood up, screaming in anger, rushing towards the heart.

“Hehe!

Hehe!!”

The demoness waved her hand nonchalantly, swatting a charging elf onto the ground with a single palm.

Like squashing a mosquito.

The elves lamented, carrying their comrade back to the corner beside the female corpse.

They no longer foolishly rushed forward, but watched from a distance the heart in the demoness’s hand.

The demoness took a bottle of seasoning from her Kun Bag, sprinkling some shiny seasoning on top of the heart.

“Some demons like to start eating from the aorta, thinking the muscle there is the most chewy.” The demoness explained patiently to Zheng Qing, a smile in her eyes: “But I’ve always liked starting from the heart’s apex.

Inside the apex is warm blood; a single bite and the warm plasma rolls in your mouth, combined with the succulent texture of the top of the heart…

it really is a great pleasure.”

With that, she bit into the heart with a look of ecstasy.

“Hehe!

Hehe!!’ The sharp cry of the little elves completely awakened Zheng Qing.

He clumsily retreated a step backward.

The demoness did not stop him.

Zheng Qing’s heart was beating wildly, his arms stiffened, his fingers spasming from exerting too much strength, he couldn’t even open the grey cloth bag clutched in his hand.

The demoness before his eyes, despite not hurting him, gave him no solace.

The dark red heart in her hand, the trickle of blood at the corner of her mouth, it all spelled out his future.

Zheng Qing, stumbling, retreated into the dining hall.

The demoness in the break room tossed the bitten heart onto the floor.

The heart rolled around for a bit before being grabbed by a few Elves who rushed forward.

They carried it back to the corner and stuffed it back into the female corpse’s chest cavity.

The demoness pulled out a clean white silk handkerchief, wiped off the blood from the corner of her mouth, followed Zheng Qing’s retreating steps, and walked out of the break room with graceful catlike steps.

“Clack, clack, clack.” Her heels clicked crisply against the floor.

“Crash!” Zheng Qing, in panic and retreating, knocked over a dining table, the utensils clattering onto the orange floor.

The bustling dining hall immediately went much quieter.

All eyes were curiously fixed on Zheng Qing.

Then people saw the flight attendant slowly stepping out from the break room.

They saw her crimson red eyes.

The air seemed to freeze.

“Demon!!”

No one knew who yelled out this word.

A terrifying aura erupted from the demoness with the utterance of this word, spreading across the entire dining hall.

The plane began to shake violently.

The dining hall descended into chaos in an instant.
