'That's for later, right now need to find a safe place' Kaneki said as He stepped inside the cafe and as soon he came inside, he could hear Sounds

'2? No, it's 3' Kaneki inwardly said as he counted how many zombies were here based on the noise but since here there was no one else other than himself

He didnt rush to kill even a single zombie as he knew they wouldn't rush to him unless he made any noise

He begins to search for coffee quietly while has another thought after seeing zombies Roaming around him

'What Will happen if one of these bites me?' he asked this question to himself as he clearly knew he wasn't human anymore

And the possibility of him going is extremely Low, he doesn't think this due to the fact that he isn't human but rather his main power lies In 'regeneration'

So he thinks his regeneration will destroy the virus as soon it enters his body but he is not gonna try his theory, not because he is scared but rather because now he has someone who needs to protect

His regeneration was also the reason he had plenty of confidence to make a cure or anti-virus To destroy the virus that makes people mindless

With those thoughts, He quietly began to Search for coffee since most of the furniture was destroyed Including cabinets, so finding coffee was not easy

After searching for a while, he didn't find any coffee rather he found coffee Beans but Kaneki thought it was better than nothing

Now He just needed to find Something that he Could use to carry coffee beans with him, he looked around for a while but he could see smashed glass Jars

Fortunately, he found a carry bag, and luckily without any holes or any damage but judging by The size of it, he could only carry a limited amount of coffee Beans

'It will do for now' Kaneki inwardly Said this in his mind as he thought it should be Plenty for now till they found a safe base

Meanwhile in the car....

"Shizuka-sensei, who is that or what he is?" saya asked this question which had been in her mind the whole time since she met him

Not only her as Saeko and Rei have these same questions in their minds but they didnt dare to ask questions,, especially in his presence

3 of them think it rude and probably will offend him, as they Don't know what will happen if he gets offended nor they wanna find out

But since now he has left, they can finally ask questions which they have in their minds to Shizuka without holding back

They were glad That he left Shizuka in the car since he did take her with him then they just had these all questions unanswered for an unknown time

"Ara~Didn't I tell you~ he is my little brother~?" she said this in an obvious tone like stating the fact making all of them stunned

"we mean you said that you have this 'brother' a few months ago," Rei said as she remembered what Shizuka said to them in school

"Yeah?~," Shizuka said this as she did say but was confused as to why Rei had mentioned this, as she looked at them with confusion In her eyes

"Can you tell us how You met Your little Brother for the first time?" Saeko asked this since she thinks it is better to ask questions directly

"Sorry I don't think I could tell you kids that~" Shizuka replied to Saeko after thinking for a moment since she dont think it good to tell how they met for the First time

"But why??" saya asked this question since this is the question that had been eating her out for a while, now Hearing Shizuka's reply only made her frustrated

"It's mine and Kan-chan's secret~" Shizuka replied to Saya in a mysterious As well as in sweet Leaving no room for them To ask this again as she won't go into details about how Kaneki and she met

"But yeah kaneki is a very good boy~, you don't need to be afraid ~" Shizuka said as she now realised that they seemed to be asking these questions because they were fearful towards Kaneki

"but he seems to be not.....human" Saya replied with hesitation thinking this might upset Shizuka but she wanted to know answers which is the reason she asked this

"Hmmmmm it might be true he might be a little different than regular people~," Shizuka said as she thought about all the moments with Kaneki

'Little different...?' saya, rei and Saeko repeat what just Shizuka has said in their mind with pure confusion since from their experience so far with Kaneki, they dont think he is a little different rather they think he is totally different

"but at heart, he is more human than any other person I have ever seen" Shizuka continued to speak this as her tone totally changed to somewhat calm. But somehow Rei, Saya and Saeko understand Shizuka meant what she said

What Shizuka said is something that she witnessed herself, even though kaneki might Not go outside that much but from his behaviour, It was easy to say that he is a good person

She isn't only saying because of his behaviour Towards herself but rather she has seen how he feeds and treats small animals that come into their homes as well as how Animals love him too

From what she knew animals only show affection towards a good person and even though he might be indifferent all the time but when he interacts with small animals, Kaneki always has a small smile Which she had never seen before towards her or anyone else

This is after he experienced something very terrible even though she didn't know what happened before she met him

But remembering the condition she found him, it makes her extremely sad for whatever happened to him in the past to have become like that
