How to Have a Baby Secretly-Chapter 52
Kang Jinwook hung up the phone and immediately got out of the car. He walked briskly toward the airport, which was quieter than during the day.
"I’ll take you this way."
The stewardess, who had heard the news late, hurried over, but Kang Jinwook didn’t even glance her way and kept walking. The stewardess and Secretary Gwak quickly chased after him.
The move to the aircraft was swift and without delay, and soon, Kang Jinwook sat down in the spacious seat, staring out at the runway bathed in darkness.
When he saw the message that Sunwoo had entered the hotel, Kang Jinwook didn’t hesitate and immediately left the office.
There were times when Kang Jinwook couldn’t control his own madness. This was one of those times. The only thought that dominated his mind was that he had to fly to Jeju right away.
He decided he needed to find out what Sunwoo was doing, where he was, and, if he found Sunwoo in someone else’s bed, he would immediately grab that person by the throat and throw them out the window. Such was the terrifying thought running through his mind.
The waiting plane started rolling down the dark runway. Soon, with the sensation of floating, the plane took off into the air.

A bitter smile appeared on Kang Jinwook’s lips as he looked at the cityscape shrouded in darkness below.
He found it almost laughable that he had dropped everything and rushed here just because of one message.
Even so, Sunwoo wouldn’t give him even a fraction of his heart. In fact, he might even give him the same disdainful look he always had.
The past flashed through his mind. The first time he had faced Sunwoo in the classroom, the cold, mocking gaze that Sunwoo had given him.
Sunwoo already knew him.
Sunwoo knew that Kang Jinwook had grown up without a father and had only been acknowledged as a child after manifesting as an Alpha. Sunwoo knew that his mother had been treated as a silent victim, unable to marry officially due to Kang Jinwook’s situation, and that Kang Jinwook would forever be seen as a half-acknowledged son by his father.
From day one, Sunwoo had looked down on Kang Jinwook, treated him poorly, and made his life miserable. But even in that, he occasionally showed kindness or a strange favor, as if pitying a poor beast.
It was because of that strange attention that Kang Jinwook had been captivated from the very start. Over time, what started as obsession had transformed into a deep attachment that sometimes turned into hatred.
However, the changed Sunwoo now drew Kang Jinwook’s gaze even more. His fierce confrontations, the way he would meet Kang Jinwook’s attacks head-on, felt new, and it was like he was sinking deeper into the swamp, falling more and more in love with Sunwoo.
Now, Kang Jinwook had to admit it. He had to see things through to the end with Sunwoo, no matter what the outcome.
Kang Jinwook stared out the window, his face dark and grim.
It was 15 minutes later that Sunwoo found Im Haewon. At least, Im Haewon wasn’t alone. She was surrounded by some rough-looking thugs.
"Hey, just get her up. She looks completely out of it."
"Yeah? But look at all the sweet scent coming off her. It’s impressive she’s not attacking us right here."
"Good thing I’m recessive. If I were dominant, I’d have made a move by now. At this rate, the longer we wait, the more likely we’ll be the ones chasing after her."
"Let’s take her away before things escalate. A Hit-cycle Omega? This is jackpot!"
The three thugs licked their lips as they spoke. Their eyes were already gleaming with desire. One particularly large thug roughly grabbed Im Haewon’s arm and started yanking her up.
"Ugh…"
Im Haewon moaned softly as she was dragged up. At the same moment, a strong floral scent filled the air. Sunwoo’s eyes widened.
It felt like Im Haewon’s pheromones had intensified since the last time. Her entire body, not just her face, was flushed a deep red, and she was trembling, even crying, tears rolling down her cheeks.
Something was definitely wrong with Im Haewon’s condition.
"Im Haewon!"
Sunwoo rushed through the thugs, calling her name.
"Hey!"
"What’s this?"
The thugs looked up in confusion and annoyance as Sunwoo pushed through and stood protectively in front of Im Haewon.
"What are you doing? Let go of her hand."
Sunwoo glared at the thugs, hiding Im Haewon behind him.
"What’s your problem?"
The large thug sneered and glared at Sunwoo.
"She’s a friend. And you guys?"
The thugs exchanged glances, uncertain. They had thought Im Haewon was a helpless Omega alone, but Sunwoo’s presence threw them off.
Sunwoo stared at them, then helped Im Haewon back up.
"Im Haewon, come on. Stay with me."
Im Haewon didn’t respond, continuing to cling to Sunwoo as her pheromones grew stronger. The sweet, intoxicating floral scent enveloped Sunwoo’s body. He remembered what the thugs had said.
A Hit-cycle Omega.
‘No way, no way.’
It seemed like Im Haewon really was in a Hit-cycle. If he left her like this, it would only lead to more problems.
Sunwoo needed to get her to a safe place, fast. He slid his arm under her armpit and hoisted her over his shoulder.
He knew he shouldn’t be lifting anything heavy, but leaving Im Haewon with these thugs, in such a dangerous situation, was unthinkable.
"Hey, where do you think you’re going?"
But Sunwoo couldn’t move an inch. The three thugs blocked his path, and the large one sneered down at him.
The other two joined in with their nasty smiles.
"What’s the matter?"
Sunwoo glared at the thug right in front of him.
"Move aside."
Despite Sunwoo’s harsh words, the thugs just laughed, not budging an inch. Sunwoo bit his lip and steeled himself. He decided to force his way through them.
"Ah!"
Just as he made a move, a thick hand grabbed his shoulder, pulling him back and making him stagger.
"Hey, isn’t this an Omega too?"
The large thug, who had grabbed him, said in a mocking tone, looking back at his companions.
"Yeah? He looks like a Beta, though. He’s not soft at all."
"No, I know what I’m talking about."
The large thug leaned in and sniffed Sunwoo’s neck.
"What do you think you’re doing?!"
Sunwoo jerked back, horrified.
"See? He might be weak, but I can smell his pheromones."
The large thug smirked arrogantly as he straightened up. His eyes flickered between Sunwoo and Im Haewon, now filled with even more lust.
"Two Omegas, huh? This is a lucky find. Let’s take both of them."
At the thug’s words, the other two grinned, their faces full of malice. One of them roughly pulled Im Haewon away from Sunwoo.
"Ah…!"
Im Haewon groaned in pain as she was pulled, and Sunwoo’s eyes widened in shock.
"What are you doing?!"
"Hey!"
Sunwoo shouted in fury and rushed to intervene, but before he could, a strong arm grabbed him by the wrist.
"Ugh!"
Sunwoo struggled, trying to break free, but he was lifted off the ground. The large thug had hoisted him up, preventing him from moving.
Sunwoo kicked out with his legs and swung his free hand, landing a punch on the thug’s shoulder.
"Ugh! You bastard!"
In the chaos, Sunwoo’s heel slammed into the thug’s stomach, making him stagger. The thug’s grip loosened, and Sunwoo was thrown onto the ground.
"Ugh."
Sunwoo quickly curled up to protect his stomach from the impact. His hand stung from hitting the ground, but now wasn’t the time to check his injuries. He quickly got up and charged toward the thug who was pulling Im Haewon away.
"Ah!"
The thug lost his grip on Im Haewon as Sunwoo slammed into him, making the thug stumble. Sunwoo seized Im Haewon’s wrist in that moment.
"Im Haewon! Get up and run!"
Sunwoo pulled hard, trying to drag her to her feet. But Im Haewon, weakened by the Hit-cycle, couldn’t even stand. She collapsed back down onto the ground.
"Im Haewon!"
Panicked, Sunwoo tried pulling her up again, but she only trembled and released more pheromones, unable to move.
"Ugh."
Just then, Sunwoo let out a scream as his head was roughly grabbed by a hand from behind. The large thug, now with a furious glare, loomed over him.
"This little bastard, where do you think you’re going?!"
The thug raised his hand and swung it down at Sunwoo. Sunwoo shut his eyes, bracing for the blow.
But the pain never came. Instead, there were shouts of pain from the thug.
"Ugh! What?!"
Sunwoo cautiously opened his eyes. The large thug was on the ground, and someone familiar was kicking him.
He was too confused to understand when or how the thug had fallen, or what had just happened.
No, more importantly…
"Uh… Kang Jinwook…? Kang Jinwook! Stop!"
Only then did Sunwoo realize Kang Jinwook was the one who had taken down the thug. Kang Jinwook was ruthlessly beating him up.
"Hey! Stop it! What are you doing?! Are you crazy?"
Sunwoo shouted and grabbed Kang Jinwook’s arm. But Kang Jinwook didn’t seem to hear him, kicking the thug who had passed out with brutal force.
If this kept up, someone was going to die. Sunwoo quickly looked around. The other two thugs had also been subdued by men in suits and were now kneeling on the ground.
"Help! Stop him!"
Sunwoo spotted Secretary Gwak among the suited men and called for help. But Secretary Gwak only looked uncomfortable, unable to get closer.
It seemed like he couldn’t bring himself to stop Kang Jinwook, who was now completely lost in his fury.
Sunwoo knew he couldn’t let this continue. If someone ended up dead, it wouldn’t end well for Kang Jinwook either.
With no other choice, Sunwoo made a desperate move. He clenched his fist and swung it at the back of Kang Jinwook’s head.
