I Accidentally Became A Superstar-Chapter 225: Where is Zeno?
- Does anyone know who the new cast members for 'Lucy's Game' are?
- The cast reveal is set to be aired live tomorrow, along with the much-anticipated first episode.
- I can't believe we've come this far with technology! Real-time broadcasting is here, and it's incredible.
- It's definitely a win for us!
- Right? And it's perfectly timed, right after 'The Forsaken Prince'! Seriously, it's just the best.
- So where's it going live?
- Is it on the Bingeflix app?
- Ugh, I totally need to renew my subscription then.
- I mean, who doesn't have a Bingeflix account these days?
- I'm happily mooching off of my friend's account.
- But seriously, I can't wait for the cast reveal! I loved the last season!
Right now, both 'The Forsaken Prince' and 'Lucy's Game' are trending like crazy. What most people didn't know, though, was that these two shows had a mysterious connection.
Today marked the airing of the final episode of 'The Forsaken Prince', and to add to the excitement, the entire cast was going to have a live reaction segment in celebration of the finale.
However, two key cast members were mysteriously absent from the live broadcast.
- Why is Ryeo Wang not with the rest of the cast?
- I pulled this up alongside the broadcast!
- Can you believe I bought two televisions when they announced this?
- Your dedication is absolutely bonkers!
- Anything for my pookie, Zeno!
- But… where is Zeno?
- Zeno, where are you hiding?
- I might actually cry. Is my child really that introverted? He wasn't on any of the variety shows either!
- Are you keeping Zeno away from us?
- Does Zeno really not want to be famous?
As Risa scrolled through the comments, she couldn't help but laugh. "They're all searching for Zeno," she remarked.
Oska, seated at the very back, pursed his lips in frustration. The seating arrangement was odd—two rows, four columns. In the front sat Risa, Shin, Yuan, and Suho, while he, Daniel, and two extras awkwardly occupied the back row.
Oska wanted to complain, but Daeshim PD had been quite firm; it was his father who had requested for him to remain in the background to avoid stealing the spotlight. After J-Slick had dropped the bombshell that Oska was somehow linked to his case, the backlash had been severe. His reputation had taken a nosedive, and even the staff members were gossiping about his credibility.
Feeling isolated, Oska was forced to defend himself. Thankfully, J-Slick's drug and alcohol tests came back positive, providing a momentary lift to his troubles. Sadly, his guest appearances on variety shows had dwindled to nothing, except for this one. At least he found a small comfort in knowing that Zeno wasn't involved in any of it either—not even now.
"PD!" Risa called out from behind the scenes. "Where is Zeno?"
Daeshim PD only smirked in response.
"We honestly don't know either," Risa chuckled lightly. "It's a bit of a letdown, isn't it? Especially since he's the main character."
"But he must have his reasons for being MIA," Shin chimed in, trying to lift the atmosphere. "We promise to keep you entertained even without Zeno!"
- What's Zeno really like in real life?
- Honestly, it feels like we know next to nothing about him.
- He's such an enigma, and that just makes me all the more intrigued.
"Zeno's really nice!" Yuan chimed in. "And he's so adorable, too!"
Suho playfully nudged Yuan's shoulder. "Zeno will strangle you if he hears that."
- Now I'm even more curious about him!
- Seriously, where is he? Why isn't he here? fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
- Wait a minute—Ryeo Wang didn't show up either?
"He's resting," Suho replied with a chuckle. "You know how Mr. Ryeo is. He's a bit on the older side."
Laughter erupted among the cast, while Oska and Daniel sat quietly. Well, they had no choice since no one asked questions about them.
"We haven't seen this episode yet!" Risa said, a small smile lighting up her face. "So this reaction will be a first-watch experience for all of us!"
Shin nodded in agreement. "I already died at this point, so I can't remember anything that was filmed," he admitted.
- This marks the end of the series, and I'm so heartbroken about it.
- How does everyone feel now that it's come to this final moment?
As the eldest among them, Shin took the lead in responding for the group.
"We're all overjoyed with how it turned out," he announced. "That's all I can really think about right now."
He glanced around. "At first, there were a lot of uncertainties. You all know how it goes, right? The backlash the series faced was simply astronomical—especially aimed at Zeno."
"If I were in his shoes, I probably would have crumbled under all that negativity," he continued, admiration shining in his eyes. "But Zeno kept it so professional, even for his first lead role. Honestly, I think he's possibly the sole reason for at least half of the show's success," he added, flashing a bright smile.
- Oh, come on, he must be getting paid to say that!
- Wow, someone's got a wild imagination!
- You can roast Shin for that comment, but deep down, he's absolutely spot on. Zeno Han totally nailed this role!
- Sure, he may have killed it, but does he even care about acting? Look at this—he's not even here to promote the content!
- I adore Zeno, but he really gives off the vibe that he's indifferent.
Noticing the tide of comments shifting despite Shin's response, Risa cleared her throat to refocus everyone's attention.
"The broadcast is about to start," she announced with a light smile. "Let's concentrate on that, shall we?"
The group nodded in unison, their eyes glued to the screen. Yet, even as the most thrilling episode of the series began to unfold, Risa's mind drifted elsewhere.
Of course, Zeno's acting remained stellar as ever. Still, the comments talking about his absence continued to persist.
Risa felt concerned as a fan. It did seem absurd that Zeno hadn't participated in any variety shows throughout their entire promotional cycle. It simply didn't make sense for him to be absent, considering he was the main character!
But perhaps that was just Zeno's personality shining through.
As the episode progressed, it appeared that Zeno's acting had improved even more!
They could aim their hatred at him for a number of reasons, but they couldn't deny his talent.
But even then, for his old and new fans alike, there was a question that was waiting to be answered.
Just what kind of person was Zeno, truly?
