Nightfall came, and a tense atmosphere filled the gates of Hogwarts, fully equipped with specially designed bone weapons, the apprentice wizards stood behind Alvin

"Are you ready everyone?"

"Remember, follow my lead and try not to make too much noise. Their tribe is located not too far from here!"

Looking straight into the night with a fierce light in his eyes, Alvin clenched the bone staff tightly in his hand as he looked forward to the upcoming war.

During the few hours after disbanding everyone, Alvin felt his level of comprehension of the art of war had become deeper, and now given the opportunity Alvin couldn't wait to test it out

Coughing slightly, Alvin began to make the final rounds of preparation before setting off.

"Nico! Lilith! Aoma!"

"You three are in charge of maintaining the formation behind me. Make sure no one goes out of line or causes commotion"

Scanning the apprentice wizards behind him, Alvin's voice seemed to carry a certain chill as it reached their ears

And feeling his gaze, those apprentice wizards, who still had a bit of unwillingness after being shut down by Lilith earlier, couldn't help but bow their heads trying to avoid Alvin's gaze

However, completely different from them, Nico, Lilith and Aoma had mixed feelings, although happy about being in charge, they all knew the responsibilities that came with being put in such a position. Now feeling Alvin's gaze, suddenly feel hesitation

Thankfully, neither of them were the one to back down from a challenge, so after taking a minute to gather themselves. The three of them rose their eyes slightly as they made direct contact with Alvin's gaze

*Clap!*

"Good! Very good!"

Feeling the confidence in their eyes, Alvin burst into applause. Knowing that the three of them possessed such will, Alvin was suddenly more comfortable in putting them in charge.

"Alright, since there's nothing else to say, let's set off!"

After confirming several times that he wasn't forgetting anything, Alvin holding the map in his hands, set off ready to begin his first war.

And hearing Alvin's command, all the apprentice wizards including Lilith, Aoma, and Nico in the lead, clenched their weapons tightly as they followed carefully behind him

Soon under Alvin's lead, they quickly left the vicinity of Hogwarts

*Sigh...., I hope everything works out well*

At this moment, looking out of a window somewhere in Hogwarts, Elric couldn't help sighing as he watched the figures of Alvin and the rest head towards war.

Sighing slightly, Elric turned and picked up his favourite twig as he prepared to continue his training.

ALVIN POV

The night was cold, and thanks to the particular conditions of the forest, the winds whistled as they gave a particular eerie feeling to the surroundings

The daytime animals started to get ready to rest as the nocturnals began to wake up, and the trees waved from time to time looking like they were waving goodbye to the day and welcoming the night

All in all, nightfall had begun to come in full bloom, and Alvin and the others were fully ready to take advantage of this. ƒ𝗿e𝘦𝚠𝗲𝚋n𝚘ν𝙚𝗹.𝑐o𝙢

"Alright you guys get ready we're already here!"

Whispering slightly, Alvin quickly paused his movements as he reached their intended destination.

Not too far from them, a small gathering could clearly be seen as a campfire in its middle completely illuminating its surroundings.

Looking closely, it seemed like some sort of ceremony was taking place, as Alvin vaguely saw the figures of some women dancing around the fire as they sang some sort of chants

"Teacher Alvin, what are they doing?" 𝑓𝗿𝐞𝘦𝘄e𝘣n𝘰𝘷eƖ.c𝘰𝗺

Also seeing what was going on, Lilith behind him couldn't help but be confused as she saw their weird dance

Unfortunately, before Alvin could answer, after hearing Lilith's doubts, everyone behind her suddenly felt curious on what was going on

Soon, Nico, Aoma, and all the apprentice wizards suddenly found themselves closer to the tribe as they unknowingly got there trying to figure out what was going on.

Thankfully Alvin quickly noticed this wrong scene and quickly stopped them before they could get any closer.

"All of you get back! Do you want them to discover you?"

Seeing all of them so close, Alvin quickly scolded them forcing them to go back to their original positions

Luckily, Alvin's prestige among them had lately been at an all-time high causing them to listen almost immediately.

"Good, now stay back! And don't do anything like this again!"

Seeing them obediently going back, although satisfied with their quick response and compliance, Alvin knew he still had to scold them for a bit in order to achieve a better effect, and further cement his prestige among them.

Thankfully, none of the apprentice wizards seemed to take it seriously as most of them already knew they were at fault, so when Alvin scolded them, apart from the occasional apologies, they all kept their heads dropped as they waited for him to finish

Lucky for them, Alvin didn't care about this too much, so after a few minutes, Alvin waved his hand signalling a change of topic.

"Alright everyone come closer, I'm about to tell you our plan before we start the attack"

Bending down slightly, Alvin signalled for them to huddle closer so he could tell them the plan.

According to Alvin's original idea, a few apprentice wizards would be used as a decoy while the rest of them quickly sneaked into the tribe using it as an opportunity to capture a hostage

After capturing the hostage or hostages, Alvin planned to use this as an opportunity to persuade them to surrender, this way there would be no fight, nor bloodshed resulting in a quick and efficient war

Unfortunately, due to whatever ceremony was going on, their chances of successfully capturing a hostage were directly reduced by almost seventy percent

Sighing slightly, Alvin knew he had to adjust his plan a bit, luckily before coming, several alternatives had been deduced by him and Elric.

Now looking at the faint figures dancing around a camp fire, Alvin couldn't help but have a somewhat gloomy smile on his face

"Sigh… don't blame me, blame yourself for standing in the young master's way!"
