Chapter 563 - 563 Invincible: All or Nothing, Humiliation and Death, Invincible vs. Angstrom Levy, The Most Miserable Outcome of an Endless War and The Justice League.

With the fall of the three Invincibles, Omni-Mark remained, the one Allen recognized as the one who broke Eve's leg in the original timeline.

"Heh," Allen smiled at him, scaring him in the process.

Not far away was Sinister Mark, also known as the Cannibal Invincible. He was mainly responsible for the death of the other Invincibles after being abandoned by Angstrom Levy in that dead dimension. Last but not least was Tech Mark. Allen couldn't help but feel curious—why, in most alternate universes in this world, do they all have their own Invincible, but they also have their own Tech Jacket?

Tech Jacket was a human who obtained a power suit, combat armor, or whatever they chose to call it. The strange part was that when a Tech Jacket user dies, it self-destructs, so it seemed unlikely that this Invincible would have stolen it.

'Could he have been chosen in his world?'

[It's a possibility...]

Allen shook off those thoughts, there was no time to waste, it was time to get it over with.

Alen cracked his neck. His body released a small amount of energy before shutting down. Finally, he let the air out and looked at the three Viltrumites with the irises of his eyes glowing, "You three can come at the same time... Not that I need to permit you, but if you had fought together instead of taking turns, maybe these three wouldn't have died..."

Allen's words were like daggers in the chests of the remaining Invincibles. They were proud and cautious but also distrustful. This made half of them not move, even when they saw the others die. Attacking without knowing if your teammates are going to stab you in the back is foolish; you can't trust anyone, and even more, knowing that most of the Invincibles that you brought in are crazy killers. Of course, the sheer power shock from Allen also helped in that moment.

The Sinister Invincible looked at Omni-Mark. They knew their chances of survival were slim—it was either fight or die miserably. So, they nodded. As for Tech Mark, his gaze said it all; he was terrified of Allen. It wasn't just because of the clear difference in power, but because he knew what kind of existence Allen was in this world.

Allen was an experiment to see what would happen if someone were given the authority of a jury, judge, and executioner all in one. But it wasn't just that.

Tech Mark knew it. He had spied on Cecil and knew that Cecil didn't consider Allen a person but a walking natural disaster. With other powerful individuals like Omni-Man, Invincible, or even the Guardians, Cecil always looked for weaknesses and ways to manipulate them, or at least keep them under control. With Allen Walker, it was different. Cecil treated all of Allen's actions as inevitable outcomes.

One doesn't truly get angry at a tornado for destroying their house. You don't blame a storm for ruining your day. These are events that can't be controlled; that's just nature. Cecil saw Allen this way. He'd long decided that he couldn't control him, manipulate him, or stop him, so he simply gave up and decided to reward him instead, almost as a tribute to an ancient volcano to prevent it from erupting.

Tech Mark was terrified. How could there be someone like that in the world?! However, this reality makes Tech Mark's actions meaningless, why did he come? Why did he wait for Allen? Why didn't he try to escape?

The answer was simple: Tech Mark was guilty of arrogance. He didn't believe it, didn't accept the reality. He didn't believe this was real, and now he paid the price. From the moment Allen appeared, he knew there was no escape. But still, he chose to trust—not in himself, but in his teammates. Because even if they were crazy and maniacal they were very strong... but he was wrong.

The result was despairing. Even now, they had underestimated the Regulator. He didn't realize the full extent of Allen's power until he saw it with his own eyes.

"It's time to finish this..." These were the last words Allen spoke before moving.

The world turned gray...

Tech Mark watched as Sinister and Omni-Mark attacked simultaneously, but both of their fists were grabbed by Allen.

Knowing Allen's habit of crushing hands and arms, they immediately tried to free themselves, but Allen only smiled, making them crash into each other before throwing them through a building.

As both Invincibles tried to regain stability in the air, Allen appeared, followed by a massive electric discharge.

"Ahhh!"

Both screamed in pain, but that didn't buy them any mercy from Allen, who kicked Omni-Mark, sending him crashing into the ground and destroying everything in his path. Hundreds of houses, buildings, and cars were displaced by the Invincible's body, which couldn't stop. Of course, there were no people left, as they had been evacuated long ago. Cecil wasn't stupid; he knew that as usual, Chicago would be the center of the war.

"He flew quite well, didn't he?" Allen scoffed.

The Invincible Sinister screamed and attacked. "DAMN IT!"

Allen grabbed Invincible's head and threw him into the sky. He raised a finger and released an energy blast, which detonated in the sky with a force similar to that of quantum bombs. The explosion swallowed Sinister Mark, but unexpectedly, it didn't kill him.

"Quite resilient..."

Allen turned his attention to Tech-Mark, who raised his hands, which transformed into cannons. At the same time, a helmet enveloped his head while his eyes lit up.

"You have quality technology there, brat...however, your father and grandfather will be disappointed that you are so reliant on technology."

"SHUT UP!"

The power made the air vibrate. Fragments of energy capable of eradicating a continent concentrated in his hands. Meanwhile, Allen remained silent, his expression so relaxed it seemed like he was about to fall asleep.

{Error} {Error} {Error} {Error}

Tech-Mark gasped. No matter how he analyzed his opponent, there were no calculable parameters, and that was terrifying.

Tech-Mark prayed and shot. The beam of light covered the sky as it traveled toward Allen.

"Oh..." Allen summoned a black sword, which swallowed all the light as it cut through the beam. It devoured all the released energy. Satisfied, Allen smiled as he sheathed Lenalee.

"Ah! Damn it!" Tech-Mark generated an energy sword from his arm and attacked Allen. He was an Invincible, not just a Tech Jacket user, so he could fight perfectly at close range.

Allen, surprised by the decision, patiently waited for the attack, and just as the energy blade was about to cut him, he disappeared.

"It's not that easy to hit me if I don't let you."

Allen spoke from the most humiliating place he could stand—on top of Tech-Mark's head. His words reflected the absurd reality: Allen had been receiving his opponents' attacks on purpose. Perhaps out of respect for the courage they showed, but had he not wanted to, he could have dodged them all.

"...!"

Tech-Mark was paralyzed by yet another display of the terrifying difference in power.

"Not yet!" Omni-Mark emerged from the rubble, holding his stomach and wiping the blood off his glove. "Don't think you can kill us without consequences. I'm not going down miserably!"

Allen didn't even look at him. "Then try harder."

A meteorite fell from the sky—or so it seemed—an object wrapped in flames.

"...!" Tech-Mark recoiled from the humiliation.

"Heh..." Allen received the impact with his forearm. It was Sinister Invincible, but his face and chest were burned. At this point, he looked terrifying. His nose, lips, and eyelids had vanished, incinerated, leaving his face with burned skin down to the muscles.

Allen remained with a mocking smile, "Well, Hannibal Lecter, I'm afraid there are no more human meat barbecues for you."

"What?!"

Sinister Invincible was confused for a moment, but the confusion didn't last long. Allen placed his hand on the chest of the Invincible.

"Idiot, get away from him!" Omni-Mark shouted, but it was too late.

"Hakai..."

"Huh?! No! NO!—"

Sinister Invincible disappeared. Among those present, he was one of the cruelest, so Allen didn't even give him the slightest respect. Allen turned toward the other two Invincibles, his gaze becoming serious.

"It's over..."

...

Elsewhere, Invincible flew toward his home, feeling a knot in his stomach. Seeing Kurumi kill the Mohawk Invincible made one thing clear: Allen wasn't responsible for this, so it could only be one person, "Angstrom Levy." Somehow, he had survived and managed to come back.

Invincible clenched his fists as the air split from the speed at which he flew. The mere thought that something could happen to his mother made his insides burn.

'I... I...'

Invincible tried. He tried, he wanted to be a clean superhero, a man capable of being a symbol, just like the comic book characters he'd read about so much. But the reality is harsh. The more time passes, the more he realizes the brutality of the world, a world he had idealized too much. If Angstrom Levy is alive, it means he didn't finish him off that time...

Invincible watched as smoke rose in the distance. He was a Viltrumite and had the experience of facing his father, or rather, being beaten by him. He knew how destructive a Viltrumite could be.

How many are dead?

Invincible didn't want to think about the victims. Was it wrong that he suffered for killing Angstrom, instead of making sure of his death?

'I'm sure Walker will handle the Invincibles. I need to deal with Angstrom Levy...'

Invincible steeled his resolve. He wasn't flying intending to kill Angstrom Levy, but if it happened this time, he wouldn't break down because of it.

...

When he arrived home, Invincible was greeted by Angstrom, who was sitting on the couch with a coffee beside him.

"Angstrom Levy... you were alive?!!"

He had already anticipated it, but seeing the bastard again was too much of a shock.

"Mark Grayson... congratulations for not making the same mistake twice..."

Angstrom's words brought some relief to Invincible. This time, Debbie and Oliver wouldn't be in danger. With that settled, his gaze sharpened as he stared at Angstrom.

"This time will be the last..." Invincible clenched his fists.

"Looks like you've grown a beard, Mark..." Angstrom stood up from the couch and created a portal in his hand.

Angstrom's response was calm, but beneath that, there was a growing murderous intent.

The house exploded, and Invincible shoved Angstrom Levy. They fought while Angstrom's drones attacked Invincible, but he wasn't about to give up.

...

(Downtown Chicago)

No need to tell what happened, remnants of the power suit on the ground and a shredded red cape floating around told the story.

"..."

Allen remained silent...

Everything around him had calmed...

There was no more danger...

There were no more enemies...

It was the dusk of the war and the history he knew. In Allen's world, there was no fourth season of the series, and the comics were different enough not to serve as a reference for the future. Well, it wasn't like it mattered much now that a hundred enemies had appeared.

'With the changes I've caused, there's a high chance that many things won't happen, or will change...'

[Host, may I express my concerns...]

'Go ahead...'

[Our conflict with the will of the world could destroy this world...]

'...'

[Allen, look around. There are 400% more Invincibles in this war than there should be, and why? Because the will of this world doesn't care about the consequences, as long as it can destroy you...]

With the arrival of the hundred Invincibles, Allen realized that the will of the Invincible world was not the will of Universe 1. It could affect many universes. This meant that Allen wasn't facing the manifestation of the will of a universe but of the entire Invincible multiverse.

'It was strange that a guy like Markus was powerful enough to take me on...'

It wasn't arrogance, but Allen had had Beerus himself as a teacher. For there to be a power or entity capable (in this world) of making someone so strong as to force him to his limits was absurd. But If "that" encompasses the Invincible multiverse, it made sense.

'So what should I do?'

Allen didn't want to fight against that thing. There was no benefit, win or lose, it could only end miserably. He could even destroy the "world" of Invincible, understanding the magnitude of that.

[Host, would you like to negotiate with the will once again?]

Previously, the hostility had reached an extreme, but the will didn't believe Allen was capable of surviving all its attacks. As for Allen, he had never been kind to an enemy and finished them off until they fell.

This time, both sides would have to take a step back... ƒreewebηoveℓ.com

Allen closed his eyes, feeling the battles unfolding around the world. His beloved dolls were overwhelming the Invincibles, but in their wake were ruined cities, some even burning, destroyed valleys, tsunamis, earthquakes... it was literally the end of the world...

Allen knew he could win. He knew he would win. Maybe in a day, he could eradicate every Invincible, but what would happen after that?

What comes next? An invasion of a thousand Regente Thragg?

We're talking about an entity that has at its disposal infinite worlds and can throw cannon fodder at Allen forever. This universe would be devastated even if Allen wins in the end.

Neither side wanted to give in to this war...but they had to or nothing would be left if this continued to escalate.

'System, I want to make a truce... but keep in mind there are things I'm not going to give up...'

[Of course...]

...

In Midnight City, a door opened, one of the portals connecting this world with another.

A red, electrified figure shot out of that door at terrifying speed and ran through the city, taking down every criminal who had tried to take advantage of the Invincibles' war to make their moves.

A green alien crossed the portal as well; it was a Martian Manhunter. He didn't hesitate to walk over to Batman, who was watching as Clark defeated the last Invincible in the city.

"Is this alright?"

"The message said -free reign-."

The meaning was simple: it authorized Batman to bring the help he deemed necessary. As for why they needed Allen's approval, it was because anyone in this world who wasn't native would cause a butterfly effect, and Allen was the only one qualified to take responsibility and, consequently, give the authorization.

"Well, I'm good with it, hahaha."

Flash appeared again after taking down over two hundred criminals. His attitude showed he was enjoying the situation.

"Don't cause problems for my King..." Diana entered through the door, giving Flash a fixed glare.

"Oh, come on, I know how to behave, majesty." Barry shrugged.

"..." Batman looked in the distance as another massive explosion went off.

"It's a bit enviable how Cecil can make decisions, like using apocalyptic weapons to save humanity, without having to deal with politicians."

Superman floated back, holding two unconscious Invincibles, "It's both good and bad. In situations like this, it's a relief, but the rest of the time, people must trust that you won't cause the end of the world if you turn evil..."

"Too much power in one person is always dangerous," Martian replied, but that made Diana's expression darken.

Flash stepped aside, not wanting to be in the middle of a future angry Amazonian queen and her target.

"Sorry, I said too much." Martian regretted it.

"Hmph..." Diana was very understanding, except for issues related to Allen, where she was less tolerant of criticism of her future husband.

The Justice League kept arriving in the world, but not just them; Kara and Raven also appeared in the crowd. They spoke and reached an agreement before flying off in different directions.

...

(Chicago...)

[Host, I've received the response from the will of the world. It's willing to make a truce...]

The war was inevitable, and its grim end was as well, but to stop the madness happening now, like this massive invasion... it was necessary...

'Oh... and?'

[It wants you to leave this world.]

Allen wasn't surprised by this request, as it was the most obvious thing the will of the world would ask. By "world," it didn't mean leaving the Invincible Universe 1, but leaving all the Invincible's universes... leaving its multiverse.
