I Took A Succubus's First Time-Chapter 90: You Little Devil!
Kouhei couldn't help but yawn as Kyouka droned on about some topic at the front of the class. His lack of subtlety didn't go unnoticed—Kyouka's sharp glare cut through him like a blade. He flinched, trying to stifle another yawn.
As always, the class felt like a monotonous grind. Most of the students looked half-asleep, fighting off their boredom. Hina wasn't sitting beside Kouhei today, her absence a reminder of the current mission. She and the others were off searching for the fallen angel. They'd even gotten official approval from the school to skip class for this, given that the school staff were demons themselves.
Morning classes dragged to an end. For now, Nagisa and Hina, along with another first-year, were tasked with keeping an eye on Kouhei.
During lunch, Kouhei sat with Nagisa and Hina, casually eating together when a first-year student suddenly approached their table.
"Hello, Okumura-senpai, Kiyohara-senpai, and Saonji-senpai~!"
It was Himeno Yui, a first-year who'd recently gotten acquainted with Kouhei. She waved at them cheerfully before walking past.
"Hm. You know her, Kou-kun?" Nagisa asked, her tone laced with curiosity.
"Ah, yeah. Not well, though," Kouhei replied, glancing at Yui.
Nagisa's gaze followed Yui as she sat down at a table by herself, her tray of food in front of her. The scene felt oddly out of place. Yui, with her friendly demeanor and pretty face, didn't seem like someone who'd eat alone.

"Is she going to eat by herself?" Nagisa asked, glancing at Kouhei.
"It looks like it…" Kouhei replied, equally puzzled. Yui seemed like the type to have friends flocking around her. The whole situation felt off.
"I think we should invite her to join us. Don't you think so, Hina?" Nagisa asked.
Hina closed her eyes momentarily, using her power to sense any malice from Yui. Finding none, she shrugged in approval, signaling that it should be fine.
Taking that as a green light, Nagisa stood up and approached Yui.
"Hey, want to come eat with us?" she asked with a friendly smile.
Yui blinked in surprise, her wide eyes darting between Nagisa and the table where Kouhei and Hina sat.
"Is that okay, senpai?" Yui asked hesitantly.
"Of course," Nagisa replied warmly. She always enjoyed looking out for her kouhais, and Yui didn't seem like a threat.
"Thank you," Yui said, her face lighting up with a smile. She picked up her tray and followed Nagisa to their table. "I'm sorry to intrude like this, Okumura-senpai, Saonji-senpai," she said with a slight bow.
"It's fine, Himeno-san," Kouhei said casually. "Though, if you don't mind me asking, why are you eating alone?"
Yui's cheerful expression faltered slightly, her smile turning a bit melancholic. "I only transferred here recently. Everyone already has their groups, and the social pecking order's pretty set. It's not like no one wants to talk to me, but it's hard to break into their circles."
"Ah, I see…" Kouhei nodded in understanding.
It made sense now. Yui's beauty and friendly personality made it surprising to see her eating alone, but the transfer student dynamic explained it.
It wasn't like Yui was cold, like Hina, so it was hard to figure out why she didn't have friends at all. Hina's coldness made it obvious why people kept their distance, though despite that, plenty still wanted to befriend her. Yui, on the other hand, seemed friendly enough to get along with anyone easily. Now that she'd explained the situation, Kouhei guessed it made sense—at least to some extent.
As a side note, the reason Hina was here by Kouhei's side during lunch, even though she'd been gone earlier, was because she insisted on being one of the people protecting him. She'd taken a break from the mission of gathering information and tracking the fallen angel to join him. Hina wanted to be around Kouhei as much as possible, even if it meant squeezing time into her schedule.
While they were eating, Yui suddenly spoke up, unable to hold back her curiosity. "I don't mean to be rude, but is it true that you and Saonji-senpai are dating, Okumura-senpai?"
Kouhei nearly choked on his food at that. He hadn't heard any rumors like that, but considering how close he and Hina were, it wasn't surprising for people to assume something was going on between them.
The truth was, he was essentially dating Hina now. But he was also dating Yuuna and Nagisa at the same time. They'd decided to keep their unconventional relationship a secret because, from a normal perspective, it would seem strange—and they'd face all sorts of judgment and criticism for it.
If Kouhei admitted to dating Hina, he'd have to come clean about Yuuna and Nagisa as well. He couldn't let the others be left out, which meant his only option for now was to deny it.
"We're not," Kouhei said finally.
"I see…" Yui's face broke into a mischievous, cheeky smirk. "Is that so~? Then that means I have a chance with you, right, Okumura-senpai~?"
"I don't like this woman one bit," Hina said bluntly, her cold tone cutting through the air.
"I would like to like you, but I'm starting not to," Nagisa added, her words laced with irritation as she stared at Yui.
"Oh? I see," Yui said with a wide smirk, glancing between them. "You two senpais also have a thing for Okumura-senpai, huh? I'm sorry, but I can't help myself, you know? I'm starting to fall for him after he carried me like a princess."
Both women's glares turned sharply to Kouhei, who flinched under their combined scrutiny.
"What does that mean, Kou-kun?" Nagisa asked, her eyes narrowing.
"Kouhei, you cheater," Hina muttered, her cold words biting deeper than the glare.
"I-It's not what you think!" Kouhei stammered, raising his hands defensively. "I just carried her because she broke her ankle back when the earthquake happened! That's all!"
Of course, the students' memories had been manipulated. They had no recollection of the real incident—a fight between Takahashi and Nagisa caused by Takahashi's corruption by a fallen angel, which had resulted in chaos. To keep mortals from discovering the existence of demons and angels, their memories had been altered to believe it was an earthquake. The truth was much darker. Takahashi had been consumed by envy, wreaking havoc under the fallen angel's influence. For now, Kouhei had to stick with the official story.
"Why did you carry her in a princess carry, though? Do you enjoy carrying someone like that?" Nagisa teased, her eyes narrowing as Kouhei tried to stammer out a defense.
"Uh, I mean, I didn't really know how else to carry her..."
It was true. Kouhei had faced a dilemma. A princess carry seemed like the safest and most practical option. If he'd carried her on his back, her breasts would've been pressed right against him. That would've been even more awkward—not to mention problematic.
"First year, what's your name?" Hina cut in sharply, her gaze locking onto the girl.
"I'm Himeno Yui from Class 1-A, Saonji-senpai!" Yui replied cheerfully, a little too enthusiastic for Hina's taste.
"I don't want you getting close to Kouhei. Ever." Hina's tone was cold as she reached out and pinched Yui's cheeks, pulling them apart without mercy.
"Ow! Saonji-senpai, you meanie! That hurts!" Yui whined, her words slurring as her cheeks stretched under Hina's grip.
"Now you'll think twice before getting cheeky," Hina said smugly, letting go of Yui's reddened face.
Rubbing her sore cheeks, Yui looked up at Kouhei with teary eyes. "Okumura-senpai, Saonji-senpai is bullying me!" she cried dramatically, flinging herself into Kouhei's arms and pressing her face against his chest. Her soft whimpering was clearly fake, but damn if she didn't sell it well.
"You little devil!" Hina hissed, her patience unraveling.
Yui seemed determined to cozy up to Kouhei. He wasn't entirely uncomfortable—she was cute, after all—but he couldn't afford to let things escalate. Of course, he didn't hate the attention, but he couldn't let himself get too wrapped up in her antics. He already had three girlfriends. Adding another girl to the mix, especially when Aria seemed ready to join the chaos too, would be asking for trouble.

Hina eventually managed to pry Yui off Kouhei, dragging her away with a forceful tug. By then, it was time for afternoon classes. Hina returned to her mission of tracking the fallen angel while Kouhei headed back to his classroom. Nagisa split off as well, leaving the three of them to their own paths.
Yui, meanwhile, strolled back to her own classroom. The moment she stepped inside, the atmosphere shifted. Conversations quieted, and all eyes seemed to turn her way. A few girls glared openly, while some of the boys leaned in, whispering behind cupped hands.
Unbothered, Yui simply smiled, her usual cheerful demeanor intact, and sat down at her desk.
One of the girls glaring at her couldn't hold back and approached her.
"Looks like you were cozying up to the senpais earlier," the girl sneered. "Care to explain what you're up to, Himeno-san?"
Yui glanced up, her smile unwavering. "I don't think that's any of your business, Watanabe-san."
The tension in the room grew thick.
"Are you trying to seduce Okumura-senpai now? You've got no shame, do you? After all, you already pulled that stunt with Takahashi-senpai."
Watanabe, who had a crush on Takahashi, hadn't forgotten the sight of Yui and Takahashi entering a love motel together. Even though the students had their memories wiped clean of what happened when Takahashi succumbed to envy, corrupted by Yui's fallen angel influence, Watanabe's jealousy burned as fresh as ever. The memories of his breakdown might have been erased from everyone's minds, but Watanabe still remembered the sight of Yui leading him into a love motel. The only thing erased was the memory of him being consumed by envy. Everything else—every little detail outside of that—remained completely untouched.
Yui's lips curled into a sly, knowing smile, but she said nothing, letting the silence speak for itself.
