I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 182: Fallen Knife?
"I have a question about that dagger of yours."
Marionette raised an eyebrow, glancing down at her weapon before looking back up. She then held it up.
"Do you want it?"
"Huh? N-no, I just wanted to ask—." Lillian paused, "Wait, hold up. Would you give it to me?"
Marionette tilted her head from side to side, pondering the girl's question. She threw the dagger a few glances. She eventually came to a conclusion.
"If you allow me to do whatever I want with you, I might."
"Yeah... No." Lillian stared at her with a deadpan look, "You already had your fun a month ago, which I still remember!"
Marionette smiled, "Then you must've enjoyed it enough for it to stick." Her voice, teasing.
The Assassin then stepped to the side—
Swoosh! THUMP!
—Dodging another projectile from the Rabbit standing metres away from her.
She stared back at the spot where the bullet landed before staring at Lillian, who was preparing even more. She blinked at her, then tilted her head, "Flustered?"
"Hmph."
Lillian huffed, sending a volley, consisting of 5 spiralling drills, at her. While they were fast and destructive enough to crack even the Spider's armour... It wasn't truly as fast as she thought it was.
The dagger in the Assassin's hand glinted, flashing through the air. Marionette stared at an incoming drill, smacking it with the side of her dagger.
Although the drill persisted for a moment, it ultimately shattered, its form collapsing. She did this for two more before dodging the rest.
Lillian stared at her wryly, then tightened her grip on her odachi, watching as Marionette quickly approached her.
The Assassin's movements were elegant and swift. Not only that...
'Above...!'
Lillian held up her odachi—
CLANG!
—Blocking a fierce downward slash from the Assassin.
Not only were Marionette's speed impressive, but so were the forces behind her attacks. Something she was constantly reminded of each time they spared.
"That weapon is too heavy for you, Lillian."
CLANG!
Marionette stuck the black odachi again, putting Lillian on the defensive.
With the way things were playing out, it seemed as though the Assassin was intentionally avoiding the major weaknesses in Lillian's defence.
CLANG!
Lillian groaned, blocking another downward slash.
In a strained voice, she answered:
"I'll get used to it..."
"Hm... You got to get used to it fast, then."
Lillian watched as Marionette pulled back, spinning to the side and delivering a kick into her chest.
Crack...
Lillian was sent back, falling to the ground and into a coughing fit. She moved her hand over her collapsing chest. Her ribs must've been cracked and shattered.
They had lowered the pain sensitivity, but having their ribs crushed wasn't an ideal thing to feel.
Her eyes squinted, briefly blinded by the sun hanging over the peak of the mountain. After a few deep breaths, she pulled herself up. Well... Something she would've liked to do.
PSHT...!
Lillian's head shot back — the back of it slamming into the ground. Her eyes were wide and empty. Between them was an ominous obsidian dagger stuck into her skull.
Marionette, still holding a throwing position, raised an eyebrow. She muttered:
"I recall... she had some sort of chestplate..." Before straightening her back, flexing her hand. The dagger she had thrown magically flew back into her hand, almost as though it had a mind of its own.
***
Marionette sat at a random edge of the mountain, staring through the light fog below. She turned to the side, finding Lillian staring at her intensely.
Her body was covered in scrapes and the light brownish chest plate — the Carapace Chestplate — was covered in dents, cuts, and cracks. She had been taking quite the beating for the past hour or two.
Currently, they were on a break.
Lillian continued to stare at the raven-haired woman, before asking:
"Are you going to tell me about that dagger now?"
Marionette raised an eyebrow. After an awkward moment of silence, she summoned her dagger and passed it over to her.
"Here. You can give me my payment later when we get back to your ro—"
Lillian's face twitched, "I'm not taking it..." She grabbed the handle.
"Hm." Marionette hummed, "What a shame, then."
Lillian's face twitched again at her words before giving a sigh. She scrutinised the jagged blade of the dagger before looking into its description.

Lillian tilted her head. This dagger in her hands was actually... A kitchen knife...? Not only that, but it had four enchantments.
She stared at [Unbreakable] and finally realised something. This must've been what was keeping it from being sliced through by her odachi. She sighed, she really wanted it now.
Marionette noticed Lillian's expression and thought for a moment. She then got up from the edge of the cliff, pushing her hand out to the Rabbit.
"How about this, Lillian. If you can last longer than 10 minutes, I'll give it to you for free."
Lillian stared up at her, wide-eyed, "Seriously?!"
Marionette shrugged, "Even more motivation. Considering my touch isn't enough for you, it seems." She looked away, pretending to be upset. In actuality, she just looked the same as she usually does. Stoic.
Lillian gave her a deadpan expression before smiling.
"Alright! Let's go another round, then!"
