Chapter 1477: Weirdly

"These must be the trees where the giant stomps came from... and the information that they got from the planets began to affect that one," Rain said. "Even if most of the information was used for that... I guess Rais should have used the closest planets to create his own fortress for experiments."

"I was expecting more sterile to be the base of the machine god of information..." Elisabetha said. "That is weirdly colorful."

Rain could understand that... in any case, Rain tried to find Rais’ location, but it didn’t seem like he would be on the surface of the planet. Using all those giant trees, he could have countless shields that could work as living defense mechanism, he could tell that they would defend their base at any cost, after all.

After using Remote Viewing to check most parts of that planet from a distance, Rain didn’t find any large concentration of energy anywhere... the enemy was truly hidden within, and Rain didn’t have time to waste.

"The others must be fighting already... I don’t have time to hesitate," Rain said and then began to focus.

Starting like that was a bit risky... but it couldn’t be helped. Rain didn’t have time to waste passing through those areas in a normal way, so soon, he began to focus on his Origin Punch.

"You will use a lot of mana by attacking from this distance," Elisabetha said.

"It is fine. It is better to waste mana than time," Rain said. "Besides, I need to test something."

As Rain’s fist crackled with his power, a searing heat began to emanate from his hands, causing the air around him to shimmer and distort with the intensity of his aura. Slowly, his skin began to prickle and rise as if reacting to the immense energy coursing through his veins.

With each passing moment, the power within Rain’s fist grew higher, building to a crescendo that threatened to overwhelm him. He could feel the very fabric of space beginning to warp and bend under the weight of his concentrated power.

And then, like a primal roar, Rain unleashed his attack, channeling the full extent of his power into a devastating blow aimed squarely at the towering giant tree closest to him. The impact was deafening, a thunderous explosion of energy that echoed across the landscape as the tree was reduced to little more than splinters and ash in an instant.

But the destruction didn’t end there. As the remnants of the tree smoldered and burned in the aftermath of Rain’s attack, the very land beneath its feet began to tremble and quake as if unable to contain the sheer magnitude of the power that had been unleashed.

The Origin Punch skill received 1.000.000 experience points.

...

Rain didn’t even pay much attention to that absurd amount of experience that he received. He just arrived in the area where the destroyed giant tree once had been and then saw the ground below cracking and fissures spreading around thanks to the power of his attack...

While he was falling, Rain looked at his arm... it looked like a mangled mess, but at least it wasn’t destroyed like before... Using Telekinesis, Rain kept the matter in the same place and soon began to heal it... the process was going to take a while, but it was better than starting from scratch.

As soon as Rain was about to land and cross the fissures, the place repaired itself almost immediately. He landed and then found himself amidst a forest of giant trees and then looked around completely stupefied... how all that damage was repaired in a single moment?

"The tree isn’t back, so this wasn’t time magic or time reversal..." Rain thought.

While Rain raised his guard, several portals suddenly appeared around him... someone was using space magic, and from the portals, Rain frowned his eyebrows when he saw copies of the giant robot that Loks used to fight Rain... the resemblance was uncanny, even though they were many times smaller. Actually, they were only a bit taller than Rain.

The surprises didn’t end there... the enemies surrounded Rain, and from all directions, they fired a barrage of void cannons. They came from all dissociations, and thanks to that, Rain found himself surrounded by darkness.

The attacks hit each other, and then a weird sound of vacuum echoed in the area... before long, the attacks ended, and nothing was found in the place that Rain had been a moment ago.

All of a sudden, Powerful sounds of impact echoed in the area... all the monsters turned to the side, and then they found after images of Rain smashing the bodies of the robots with a single punch and turning them into a smashed mess of robots that couldn’t move from a single spot.

Before the creatures could make anything else, they all were sucked by dark portals and then disappeared from the area.

"... He used Hilo and Lok’s powers together," Elisabetha said. "It also feels like he used parts of the giant robot body to create the smaller ones."

"Indeed..." Rain said while furrowing his eyebrows.

Rain wasn’t surprised to see Rais demonstrating proficiency in basic skills of the aspects. After all, as one of the machine gods, Rais would undoubtedly possess a certain level of mastery over the fundamental principles of magic and manipulation of the aspects. Moreover, it was well-known that the overseer had granted some skills to Rain.

However, what truly intrigued Rain was the extent of Rais’s capabilities. While it was expected that he would be proficient in the basic skills, the real question lingered: How much of the skills of the other machine gods could Rais use? Did he possess a deeper understanding of the aspects, allowing him to access more advanced techniques and abilities?
