Chapter 100 -97: Array Breaking Studies_Part 2
This book was far from simple. Muria closed it and flipped it over. The back was smooth, and the author’s name was nowhere to be found.
“Swish!” Muria opened the book and turned to the second page. Her gaze danced over the faintly glowing low-level Magic Array.
After slight hesitation, she extended her finger and gently touched the weakest point of the crude Magic Array. With a “boom!”, it burst open, transforming into tiny specks of spirit light, and the second page became blank.
Muria smiled as she moved her fingers above the book, ready to turn to the third page. The page, however, remained static.
“That’s odd…”
“Muria, the Array you broke has regenerated.”
“Hmm, I see it, Renata.” Muria frowned slightly, looking at the second blank page on which an identical Six-pointed Star Array, glowing faintly, had now formed, flashing in a confrontational manner.

“How did it regenerate? Did I do something wrong?” Muria flipped back to the first page and observed the epigraph. “The smallest power, the smallest, hmm… What I found earlier, wasn’t it the weakest point? Because it wasn’t, the Array regenerated.”
“Boom!” “Boom!”… “Boom!” The Magic Array, in Muria’s eyes, was filled with flaws. It was broken down by her five times in a row and regenerated four times. It wasn’t until the fifth time that she finally found the weakest point—the point that collapsed and did not regenerate.
As she expected, once the crude Magic Array collapsed, she easily turned to the third page where another slightly more complex array was faintly glowing.
After seeing this Magic Array, her whole interest had been piqued by the book. She floated in mid-air with Renata, focusing intently on breaking down Array…
Time passed by, and when Muria turned to the thirty-fifth page, she couldn’t go any further. The farther she went, the trickier the arrays on the pages became.
The array on the thirty-fifth page was already of the Gold Rank; its array patterns were many times more complicated than the first six-pointed star array that Muria initially deciphered.
Muria was able to find the weaknesses in the Magic Array and decipher them. However, after she deciphered it three times, the Magic Array always returned to its original state after collapsing. This indicated that she had not found the weakest point.
“Young Master Muria.” As Muria and the Gold Rank Magic Array entered a standoff, a soft voice reached her from below. Muria looked down to find the blonde head maid, Sophia.
“Hmm!” Muria glanced at Sophia, then back at her book. To the golden-haired maid, she asked: “How long have I been here?”
“You have been in the library for two days and one night.” Sophia bowed slightly. “Master, is there anything I can help you with?”
“Hmm!” Muria looked at the faintly glowing Magic Array on the pages of her book. She felt her knowledge was deficient—running out when she needed it. Thus, she said: “Help me fill up a few more space rings with books related to Array studies.”
“As you wish, Master.”
… The restored Titan, Muria, along with Renata, who occasionally shot a discontented glance at the maid, strolled along the long corridors of the Crystal Castle. Her eyes reveled at the treasures, especially the metal-made weapons, Magic Staffs, armors, and other items infused with Legendary Metal, placed atop the display crystal platforms.
“Gundam.” Suddenly, Muria came to a halt in front of an exhibition room, where a massive magic machine stood, as tall as a grown Titan.
Looking at the familiar V-shaped ornament on its forehead and the blue eight wings on its back, Muria’s expression was stoic, but inside, her mind was churning. The materials used in the making of this Gundam had sparked her interest—a mix of higher grade metals and Legendary Metals.
“How much Legendary Metal can be refined if this Gundam is melted?” Muria mused, eyeing the colossal figure and not helping but flashed a smile on her face.
“Let’s go!” With one last look at the Gundam, Muria left the Crystal Castle without looking back. Then, her feather-like scales wrapped Dragon Wings spread from her back, and the Dragon Titan took off into the sky, carrying Renata towards Taiji Island.
…
At the same moment as Muria left the castle, in a city on a subcontinent in Elasia, the Golden Dragon Mother, Atris, who had transformed into a young girl was attending a meeting. She looked up, her golden Dragon’s Eye gazed in the direction of her Crystal Castle, a slight smile curling on her lips.
“Little Muriya, you finally got that book. The two spells I specially created based on your bloodline did not go to waste. Hmm, since the spells have taken effect, I shall name the spells after you. Let’s call them the Illusion Muria and the Mind-Lowering Muria.”
The Golden Dragon Mother, thinking of Muria’s affairs, couldn’t help but break into a smile. Unknowingly, the smile amazed all humanoid creatures in the conference room—Human Knights, Mages, Half-elf Archers… All the powerful beings attending the conference had their attention drawn by Dragon Mother’s laughter.
“Ahem, Your Excellency Atris!” The supporter of the meeting, a gentleman-like middle-aged mage, cleared his throat. His eyes straight ahead, he tried to resist the urge to look at the Golden Dragon Mother. “Did you think of something interesting?”
“Mmm, it is quite interesting.” After hearing this question, Dragon Mother Atris suppressed her smile, her face expressionless. She was aware of her charm in human form. “The spell I left in the castle was triggered, and the effect was quite good.”
“Your Excellency, did a thief sneak into your castle?” A young, dashing knight looked at the Golden Dragon Mother, his admiration uncloaked.
“No.” She was indifferent to the surrounding eyes, filled with love; she had become accustomed to it. “It was my somewhat mischievous son who triggered it.”
“Click!” “Click!”… As the sound of Dragon Mother’s voice died down, a series of simultaneous shattering sounds echoed throughout the conference room.
“Hmm, turns out the news of Your Excellency having a companion is true.” The middle-aged mage sitting at the head of the table chuckled, his eyes concealed beneath his lowered eyelids hiding the disappointment in his eyes. The fine powder in his hand slowly fell. It was the rest of the teacup he had just held in his hand.
“Surely, Archmage Atris’ child must be just as extraordinary as you.” A Mage chuckled, his chair beneath him filled with cracks that he managed to hold together with his mental power, preventing it from scattering all over.
