King of Titans and Dragons-Chapter 31 - Fathers Gift
Chapter 31: Chapter 31 Father’s Gift
Chapter 31 -31 Father’s Gift
A dreadful pressure permeated the surroundings of the pure white castle as Titan emerged from the spatial gate. The beasts howled, birds chirped, insects buzzed… Suddenly, all ambient sounds vanished, leaving absolute silence. It seemed as if everything fell silent in the presence of this formidable entity.
The giants following Muria instantly fell to their knees upon seeing Titan with his black hair and golden pupils. They welcomed him with humility.
“Father.” Standing before the spatial gate, only Muria was unaffected by the pressure. He stared a bit confusedly at Titan as he tore through the space before him in a dramatic fashion. The connection of their bloodlines made him subconsciously call out.
“Hmm!” Upon hearing Muria’s voice, the legendary Titan, Ansol, gave a faint nod in acknowledgment before he walked out of the space gate, dragging a very robust dragon behind him.
Only then did Muria get to see what his father, Ansol, looked like. He was shocked to realize that the formidable Titan seemed somewhat unwell.
Ansol was wearing a full-body armor with a black base and golden patterns, rigidly covering every part of him save for his head. The armor was fashioned in an ancient style with no redundant decoration. Even the golden pattern was designed for the purpose of better amplifying and channeling the power of Titan.
The entire armor set, while ancient and imposing, had shocking dents and scratches. It was apparent that his father had participated in an extraordinary battle, as the armor was forged from numerous legendary metals.
“During my search for your gift, I stumbled upon a formidable adversary,” Ansol said, offering a simple explanation as he threw what he was dragging in front of Muria.
“This is …” Muria was stunned by the enormous creature thrown before him. The giant dragon, over 160 meters long, was wrapped in a faint light, its body covered in semi-transparent scales that refracted light like a diamond. “A Legendary Power-Ability Dragon.”
“It was quite a good opponent, battling it was satisfying. Unfortunately, this dragon seems to have just reached adulthood. Its power is not yet fully developed, and our fight didn’t quite quench my thirst,” the Titan said with not a hint of regret about his unfinished business with the dragon.
“Not quite satisfied…” Muria glanced at the Power-Ability Dragon his father had thrown in front of him, murmuring and twitching the corners of his mouth.
The Power-Ability Dragon before him was in a pitiful state, with its scales shattered and dented in many places. Small golden arcs and wind blades, which were inevitable marks left from the battle with Ansol, were still present.
“Father, what do you plan to… do with it?” Muria pointed at the Power-Ability Dragon, asking cautiously, as he was astonished by the combat power demonstrated by his father.
The Power-Ability Dragon was known as an extraordinary dragon species that could break into the legendary realm during its adolescent stage. It could even challenge real Gods when it reached the ancient dragon stage. It was overwhelmingly powerful.
However, such a legendary dragon, who wouldn’t even blink at Gods, had been knocked into a stupor by Ansol, the Legendary Titan. It was dragged back by its tail to the Titan Islands.
“This dragon seems to be in its adolescent phase. I plan to wait until it matures and then have a proper fight with it. But I was worried that I might not be able to find it next time, so I brought it back directly,” Ansol explained.
Right, a perfectly reasonable explanation. Muria nodded to himself. To ensure he could beat up a Power-Ability Dragon in the future, there could be nothing more appropriate than bringing it home and raising it. But seriously? This was a dragon species that could potentially stand up to Gods in the future. Was it a creature meant to be raised at home?
“Father, this is a Power-Ability Dragon. Aren’t you afraid it will seek revenge once it fully grows up?” Muria asked hesitantly, somewhat concerned that the Power-Ability Dragon described in the heritage memory was genuinely formidable.
“Revenge? Haha…” The Titan paused for a moment before bursting into laughter. The booming laughter was very hearty. However, Muria felt quite awkward as he didn’t know what mistake he had made.
“Muria, my son, you are still young, but I can tell you now. If an Ancient Power-Ability Dragon dared to cause trouble here, other than turning its corpse into a collection piece for the Titans, there would be no other outcome,” the Legendary Titan Ansol declared confidently, emanating an irresistible high spirit. Muria saw the raging flames burning in his dark golden pupils. It was the manifestation of Titan’s battle intent. He was eager to challenge a Legendary Power-Ability Dragon.
“Oh, right, I went out to get you a present. Have a look. Do you like it?” Ansol patted his head, remembering the purpose of his journey. He bent down and took dragon eggs, one after another, from his storage space, placing them in front of Muria.
A red dragon egg radiating a red spirit light and smelling of sulfur; a blue dragon egg surrounded by blue arcs and smelling of ozone and dry stones; a dark green dragon egg carrying the scent of plants; a black dragon egg with a faint stench, and a white dragon egg with its surface covered in frost.
Muria stared blankly at the neatly arranged dragon eggs in front of him, his mouth agape in shock. All of the Five-Colored Dragon Clan’s eggs had been collected by his father and presented before him, with each type of dragon egg present in significant numbers, the Red Dragon eggs alone numbered thirteen.
Ansol looked at his son’s astonished expression with great satisfaction. According to the information he received from Dragon Mother Atreus, he construed Muria’s reaction as utter delight.
“After consulting with your mother, I prepared this gift for you. Due to certain circumstances, I wasn’t able to visit you since your birth. Are you pleased with this gift?” Ansol looked at his son expectantly.
After hearing his father’s question, Muria opened his mouth. What could he say? That he hated these dragon eggs? That he disliked these inherently evil members of the Dragon Race? That he did not want them?
If Muria was just an ordinary thirteen-year-old Titan-Dragon hybrid, he might have impulsively voiced his thoughts. However, he still held the memories of being a human for over twenty years in his previous life, and some words, Muria simply could not utter.
The one common trait shared by the Five-Colored Dragons is their underlying malevolence, their abilities differ greatly, hence their choice of nesting grounds also varies greatly.
The Red Dragon prefers to nest on warm mountains or volcanoes, the Blue Dragon likes to burrow and nest in the desert; the Green Dragon喜欢 nests in forests; the Black Dragon prefers warm swamps, and the White Dragon nests in icy, glacial regions.
One can deduce from these facts that in order to gather all these dragon eggs, Ansol must have ventured to each region preferred by the Five-Colored Dragons at least once, and battles would have been inevitable.
Protecting their offspring is an instinct shared by all species, though the eagerness to do so is significantly less in evil dragons. When faced with life-threatening danger, they would not hesitate to abandon their young. Nevertheless, the task of collecting dragon eggs was not easy for Titan.
The quantity of Legendary Ancient Dragons amongst the Five-Colored Dragons is not scarce. Muria suspects that the dents and claw marks on his father’s armor are not just from Power-Ability Dragons, but also from the Legendary Evil Dragons.
“I really like this gift, Father.” Muria revealed a bright smile and spoke happily.
“Ha ha, I’m glad you like it.” The heroic-looking Titan shows a happy smile hearing his son’s answer. “I couldn’t find the Metallic Dragon Clan because of your mother. The Gem Dragon Clan is too scarce in number, and they are an orderly race, making it hard for me to trouble them, so I could only seek out the most populous Five-Colored Dragon Clan. It seems you’re satisfied, and that puts me at ease.”
Muria maintained his smile, feeling warmth in his heart, and a slight bitterness in his nose. It seemed from his father’s words that if he was dissatisfied with these Evil Dragon eggs, his father was prepared to turn to the Gemstone Dragon. With such a father, how could he be discontented?
“Since you like these dragon eggs, raise them well. These are evil dragons, so if they don’t behave, don’t hesitate to use force to teach them what it means to obey,” Ansol advised Muria. He imparted the reality of “When you can solve problems with your fists, don’t bother with diplomacy.”
Hearing his father’s advice, Muria felt his smile growing stiff, but he dutifully nodded in agreement and echoed the sentiment.
“Alright, that’s all I have to say.” Ansol, the black-haired Titan with golden pupils, appeared grave and reticent, but he was a talker that could hardly be stopped once he started. Muria felt awkward about this, but this trait made him all the more certain about his father.

Ansol glanced down to see the power dragon whose tail had been held in his hand the entire time. It twitched slightly, showing signs of awakening, so he jerked up his arm, and a bone-jarring ‘crack’ resounded, causing the adolescent Power-Ability Dragon to be even more stunned than before.
“I’m going first, you stay here and raise the dragons well.” The Legendary Titan announced before effortlessly tearing through space and pulled the Power-Ability Dragon into it….
Muria watched as his father’s figure disappeared, then turned to look at the many giants still kneeling on the ground. From beginning to end, his father had not glanced at these giants, yet they continued to kneel in reverence, causing not a single stir.
“Everyone stand, my father has already left,” Muria commanded nonchalantly. It was only then that the giants, who were nearly burying their heads in the ground, rose en masse, regarding Muria with an even more reverent gaze. They had just witnessed the Titan’s legendary and overwhelming power in the flesh.
“Ebute, Poton, all cloud giant leaders come here,” Muria scanned the startling number of dragon eggs on the ground, calling out the names of the cloud giant leaders, beckoning them over.
“From now on, only embellish the castle in front of me with precious gems, crystals and gold and silver. Decorate the other castle with murals and sculptures. Also, remove every single gem, crystal, gold and silver from that castle without exception,” Muria instructed.
“Your Majesty, why…?” a confused cloud giant leader asked. He didn’t understand why they need to dismantle the precious decorations they had so meticulously put in place.
Muria threw him a glance, then pointed at the Five-Colored Dragon eggs on the ground. “That castle, I plan to use for dragon rearing!”
