King of Titans and Dragons-Chapter 46 - Metamorphosis

Chapter 46 -46: Metamorphosis
Fiery energy wrapped around Muria’s whole body, his consciousness hazy, in a state of semi-consciousness similar to being half asleep and half awake. This sensation reminded Muria of when he first arrived in Elasia and stayed inside an egg.
However, unlike the state of being in an eggshell, at that time, Muria’s sensation was warm and comfortable, similar to soaking in an appropriately warm hot spring. Muria could feel his body growing slowly.
But now, Muria felt as if he was soaked in boiling hot water. Even though there was no pain, it was not comfortable at all. For this reason, Muria’s consciousness did not fully enter deep sleep but maintained a hazy state.
In this state, Muria could feel his body undergoing intense changes at a rapid speed. His muscles, bones, and tendons, under the stimulation of the Dragon King’s Primordial Blood, were constantly growing and strengthening. He was becoming stronger relentlessly.
The continuously strengthening Golden Dragon lineage also stimulated the Titan Bloodline within Muria’s body. The Titan Bloodline was gradually resurrecting, starting to devour all the devourable elements, and gradually becoming stronger.
Meanwhile, on the platform of the Five-Color Dragon Castle, the golden cocoon formed by Muria quieted for only a moment before it started to emit a suction force, this force gradually growing stronger from insignificance.
In the air, green, purple, and red-colored elemental light points were gradually drawn by the suction of the golden cocoon, gathering at Muria’s golden cocoon. Then, they directly entered the golden cocoon and were absorbed by Muria.
As the suction force emitted by the golden cocoon grew stronger, more and more three-colored elemental light dots appeared, and then, a green hurricane, a purple thunder, and a fiery red flame took form.
Finally, a tornado column formed purely by manifestations of wind elements appeared. It tore through everything in its surroundings, emitting a strong gravitational force. Within the tornado column, swarms of purple thunder filled the area, and within this mighty thunder lay the golden cocoon which was enveloped by a radiant white flame.
“That’s quite the commotion!” Golden Dragon Mother Atreus, looking at the manifestations formed by the convergence of the pure wind, thunder, and fire elements, couldn’t help but exclaim.
“Not too bad!” was the evaluation from Dragon King Dimos. These manifestations were really nothing to him. He didn’t know how much stronger a puff of his breath would be compared to these.
“Right, old man, your Dragon King’s Primordial Blood is on the same level as a deity’s. If Little Muria absorbs and integrates it, won’t the Dragon’s Bloodline in his body become too powerful and suppress the Titan Bloodline? That wouldn’t be so good, would it?”
“…” Dimos looked at his daughter, speechless. He truly had a hard time believing that his daughter could pose this kind of question,”I’ve found that the things you care about, once they involve my grandson, you become no different from a normal human woman. Where is the wisdom of a Legendary Mage?”
“Do you even know what you’re saying, old man!” Golden Dragon Mother Atreus glared “fiercely” at her father, but unfortunately, however fierce she looked now, she could not intimidate the Dragon King.
“I ask you, what race are Titans?”
“The strongest Near-God race in Elasia.” Without needing to think, Golden Dragon Mother immediately answered.
“Then do you know which god this Near-God is close to?” Dimos looked at his daughter and asked, but he didn’t wait for the Golden Dragon Mother to answer – he gave the answer himself.
“The god that Titans are close to refers to the Ancient Gods from ancient times who could freely roam the boundless void, not the current gods of faith. How could my drop of Primordial Blood possibly suppress the bloodline of this race.”
“…That seems right.” Golden Dragon Mother Atreus tilted her head in slight embarrassment, “Forget it, dad, I don’t care anymore. Little Muria’s matter is up to you. You have already offended Tiamat, so just hide here for a while.”
After saying so, Golden Dragon Mother tore open a rift and stepped into it, disappearing before Dimos.
“How can my daughter, after having a son, become this foolish? Which deity would dare to provoke a Dragon King in the Material World? Deities could only let the avatars of the Legendary Peak descend upon Elasia, whereas I can exert my full power. I’m not afraid of any deity.”
Dimos heard the words of his daughter, and muttered in a low voice, shaking his head in disbelief. He truly couldn’t believe that his daughter would utter such foolish words.
As time passed, all the creatures on Taiji Island, that had been stunned by the dragon prestige which Dimos had tried his best to suppress, gradually woke up. The first thing they did after awakening was to glance fearfully in the direction of the Five-Color Dragon Castle.
Above the Five-Color Dragon Castle, those Storm Giants who had first passed out from the intimidation of the Dragon King’s might and then bled internally from the pressure of the Dragon King’s Primordial Blood gradually woke up.
After waking up, they all looked at the golden cocoon around which a hurricane, thunder, and flames raged, and at the golden-haired, golden-pupiled young man sitting cross-legged next to the golden cocoon in the air.
“Your Majesty.” The Storm Giants cautiously approached the golden-haired young man. Seeing Dimos, they naturally associated him with the golden sun they saw before they passed out.
The Storm Giants bowed respectfully to Emperor Dimos in a very ancient tradition, but they did not kneel, as they had already pledged allegiance to Muria. Aside from him, they would no longer offer obeisance to any other being in such a humble and respectful form of a kneel.
“Hmm!” Emperor Dimos responded nonchalantly, giving them attention mostly due to his grandson’s sake, otherwise, he would have chosen to ignore these Storm Giants. The notion of the most powerful amongst the giants was pretty much a joke to him. Only the Titans warranted his attention.
“May we inquire about our Prince’s…” A brave Storm Giant, his voice reverent, questioned Emperor Dimos. They had a rough suspicion about who exactly was standing before them.
This was a being powerful enough to rival the gods above, but was not part of the gods themselves. They were even more so special than the gods. In Elasia, there was a special name for these beings: Epics.
Even the weakest Epic was respected and revered to a great extent by Powerful Divine Force Deities. These Epics could freely come and go in Elasia, and unlike the Deities, they won’t be limited. In Elasia, they can fully display their god-like powers.
“It’s this.” Emperor Dimos interrupted the Storm Giant before he finished speaking, pointing to the Golden Cocoon before him, “My grandson is hibernating, but due to a few things, he ended up like this.”
“…” The Storm Giants looked at each other in disbelief upon seeing the Golden Cocoon. This transformation of Muria really was beyond their expectations.
“Your Majesty, is there anything we can do to help?” Another Storm Giant bravely asked.
“Well.” Emperor Dimos thought for a moment as he scrutinized those Storm Giants, “Well, if you wish to lend a hand, then you all go look for the Energy Crystals of three elements, wind, thunder, and fire. The more, the better – you can pile them under this egg.”
Hearing Emperor Dimos’s words, the Storm Giants respectfully retired and swarmed into the castle. The treasury in the castle was stocked with a huge quantity of Elemental Crystals gathered by the Tidal Giants from the sea.
Not long after, the Storm Giants again took to the platform of the Dragon Fortress, each one of them holding a dazzling bag emitting a radiant spirit light.
The Storm Giants soon tipped those bags over. The crisp clinking sound of crystals echoed as a stream formed by multicolored Elemental Crystals flowed toward the Golden Cocoon that Muria transformed into.
“Oh, nicely done” Emperor Dimos mused at the sight of the Three Elemental Crystals that quickly buried the underside of the cocoon. He quirked a brow, “Despite being so young, my grandson is no pauper.”
Loads of Elemental Crystals buried a third of the Golden Cocoon. However, soon enough, the closest Elemental Crystals to the cocoon began to fade at a noticeable speed.
In no time at all, a ring of colorless crystals appeared under the Golden Cocoon. These were discarded crystals; Their contained elements have been completely devoured by the absorption force given off by the Golden Cocoon.
“Clean out these drained crystals.” Emperor Dimos frowned as he looked at the increasing number of depleted crystals on the pile.
A Storm Giant put down his bag and ran back into the castle. Shortly after, he returned to the castle platform with exactly fifty Cloud Giant girls.
“Your Majesty!” Fifty Cloud Giant girls, under the reminder of the Storm Giant who brought them here, bowed respectfully to Emperor Dimos. They were the ones arranged by the Storm Giants to clean the discarded crystals.

“Hmm!” Emperor Dimos nodded, then turned to the Storm Giants, “This is my grandson’s castle, isn’t it?”
“Yes, this entire island belongs to Prince Mureya, and everything on it is his property.”
“Okay then! Until my grandson wakes up, I’m going to live here.” Emperor Dimos stood up, waved at the giants, “I’m just going for a stroll, you all don’t need to follow me.”
After saying that, the blond handsome youth disappeared completely under the gaze of many giants.
“Let’s go, inform all the giants on Taiji Island, as well as the dragons in the castle. They must be aware of His Majesty’s presence and not offend him.”
One of the Storm Giants, seeing Emperor Dimos’s disappearance, his face instantaneously turned extremely serious. He thrust the storage bag into the hands of one of his fellows, and with a few companions, he rushed into the castle.
Soon after, one giant Peng after another rose into the sky, carrying the Storm Giants in all directions of Taiji Island. Meanwhile, a great number of Griffins took off from the castle and headed to the Giant City with the letters they carried.
The Storm Giants wanted all creatures on the island to know about the arrival of Dragon King Dimos as soon as possible. Otherwise, if a careless one ran into the strolling Emperor Dimos, and upset him somehow, the consequences of which the Storm Giants dared not even imagine…
