King of Titans and Dragons-Chapter 59 - Abyss Refining Demon
Chapter 59: Chapter 59: Abyss Refining Demon
Chapter 59 -59: Abyss Refining Demon
In the arena, the increasing number of demon corpses piled up on the ground only served to spur on Muria’s fervor for summoning. The feeling of endless possibilities, not knowing what sort of demon might come forth each time, excited Muria to no end.
It reminded him of playing a certain thrilling game in his past life. Back then, he was limited in the number of characters he could summon, but now, there were no such restrictions, and he could summon as many times as he wished.
Demons that caught his fancy were kept, while the unprepossessing ones were promptly killed. Only three types of demons had so far managed to pique his interest: succubi, fire burning demons, and blood lion demons.
Among them, the blood lion demons were the highest-ranking demons Muria could summon now, representing the real upper demons. He still had no capacity to summon them, lest he risked endangering the lives of his subordinates.
Such upper demons were, at the very least, the most prominent among those at the soul-intent level. Their mere presence could halve the number of the soul-intent Storm Giants under Muria’s command. However, it was only after such a drastic reduction that they could then suppress them.
Muria, basing on the summoning method in the ‘Book of Demons’, had redesigned the summoning magic array into a permanent one. Demons summoned through it to Elasia had no time restriction, but the magic array also lacked the power to control the summoned demons.
“Your Majesty, isn’t that enough?” one of the Storm Giants complained with a suffering expression.
“Hmm?” Muria, having gotten lost in the thrill of summoning demons, finally snapped back to reality and took a look around. The martial arts field, large enough to perfectly host a soul-intent level titan combat, was now littered with remnants of demons and flowing with black blood.
Many of the giants following Muria were no longer able to find a place to step down on the ground and had no other choice but to use magic to hover in the air. Only the area around Muria was neat and tidy without a trace of blood.
In the arena, seventeen blood lion demons and over a hundred fire burning demons were diligently clearing the demon corpses. The method of clearance, of course, was to eat them. Devouring their kin was but a common occurrence for the demons, especially so when the dead weren’t their own kind.
“How many succubi have I summoned?” Muria asked a storm giant.
“Your Majesty, excluding the succubi that did not leave with the red dragon, you now have fifty-two succubi.” replied the respectful storm giant.
“That’s pretty much enough.” Muria nodded, “Find a giant to teach them to dance. I want to see this group of succubi performing in my palace hall in a month.”
“Your Majesty, although the mermaids, sirens, and young cloud giant girls can also dance for you, the succubi are not inferior. There isn’t necessarily a need to train a group of succubi to dance!”
“I’m tired of watching the dances of mermaids, sirens, and young cloud giant girls.” Muria looked at the storm giant and advised him, “I now want to see something new. What’s the problem with it?”
“Your Majesty, they are demons.”
“So what? They are merely weaklings that can be crushed easily. Are you afraid I’ll be bewitched? That I’ll fall into disgrace?” Muria chuckled, “Don’t worry, nothing will happen.”
“Your Majesty.” The advising storm giant looked helpless, pleading with Muria on his knees to change his mind.
“Not only am I interested in forming a group of succubi dancers, but I also intend to summon a lust demon from hell to serve me,” Muria said with a laugh to the kneeling storm giant. “I have yet to meet a devil from hell.”
“Your Majesty, you can’t.” A couple more storm giants knelt down, “Devils are best at seducing, please don’t underestimate them. Even celestial deities have been seduced and fallen into hell by demons. They’re an incredibly powerful evil.”
“Evil?” Muria laughed disparagingly, “Then I’ll summon a devil now and see this so-called ‘evil’ for myself. And I’ll use these demon remains as sacrifices.”
From the space pendant around his neck, Muria took out a black book which was filled with an eerie aura. In front of all the giants, he opened this book twined with an ominous black mist, on summoning devils.
Soon after, according to the method in the book, Muria rearranged a new dark red summoning array that emanated a disturbing and mysterious aura. He then ordered the giants to pile the mounds of demon corpses in the arena onto the summoning array.
“Muria, what level of devil do you intend to summon?” Cynthia asked fearfully as she watched the growing number of demon corpses on the array.
“Of course, I want to summon a big one.” Muria comforted the three red dragons who were scared by his actions, “Don’t worry, I won’t summon too powerful a one. Just a soul-intent level devil.”
“Soul-intent level!” Jessica looked at Muria incredulously, “Do you know what this level of devil represents?
How many people do you want to die on this island?”
“Not one will die.” Muria replied nonchalantly with a raised eyebrow, “No matter what I summon, I will make it submit. Just wait and see!”
“But Muria, you are now only at the golden stage three, not at the soul-intent level.” Red Dragon Renata timidly voiced out.
“Even though I’m just Gold Rank, I can still defeat the Soul-intent level.” Muria crouched down, reached out to pat Renata’s formidable dragon head, then stood up to command the Cloud Giant to set up.
“Muria has become more and more arrogant.” Cynthia sighed softly as she watched Muria walk away.
“What can you do? On Taiji Island, he is the strongest. He can even defeat Soul-intent Storm Giants. If it were me, I would definitely be this confident.” Jessica chirped nonchalantly.
“If this continues, Muria will eventually suffer.” Surmised Renata after giving it some thought.
“But this is Titan’s territory, what harm can come to Muria here? If he summons something big, a Titan will definitely come to deal with it.”
…
“Tarans, have all the giants left?” Muria looked at the magic array that’s nearly a hundred meters in front of him, covered with demon corpses, and turned to ask Tarans, the Storm Giant Leader standing behind him.
“They have all left the martial arts field, as per your instructions. The Blood Lion Demon and the Fire Burning Demon have also been instructed to avoid it temporarily.” The increasingly towering Tarans reported in a low voice.
“Are you guys afraid?” Muria glanced around at the fifteen Soul-intent Storm Giants. This group was the result of the influence of the Titan Bloodline since he awakened two years ago. “If you’re afraid, tell me now. There is still time to leave.”
“His Majesty is joking!” One of the Storm Giants brandished his axe spear, causing a slight blast in the air as it moved, “You are only summoning a Soul-intent level devil, not a legend. How could it possibly frighten us?”
“Good!” Upon hearing what the Storm Giant said, Muria laughed. Immediately afterwards, his mental power spread out, and he unhesitatingly activated the summoning magic array in front of him.
“Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!” The magic array was activated, and an evil spirit light, red as blood, reflected from the array patterns, shining on the demon remains, causing them to melt away like wax exposed to fire, disappearing into the magic array.
With the massive disappearance of the demon bodies, the blood-colored spirit light reflected in the array became more radiant, and the foul aura grew denser, causing the Storm Giants to instinctively tighten their holds on their weapons.
“Hiss! What an intoxicating presence from the material world!” Along with the increasingly glaring blood-colored spirit light, a giant demonic shadow wreathed in black qi appeared in the center of the array, sighed deeply and spoke in an almost melodious tone.
“Who dares summon my pre… Huh?” A pair of blood-red eyes then turned to look in the direction of Muria and the others, its sentence still half finished.
“Just because you’ve come out doesn’t mean you can start acting all high and mighty, you idiot.” Muria swiftly swung his fist enveloped with golden thunder and hurricane at the demonic shadow the moment it finished its first sentence, holding nothing back.

“Titan!” The figure was somewhat scared, looking at the fist that was coming straight at it, and managed to scream out two words in fear before it was struck. “Puff!” Black icor and broken scales flew around as the demon stumbled back from the force of Muria’s punch.
“Not right, it’s not a grown Titan.” The devil, whose face had been dented by Muria’s punch, looked at his own body in surprise. He had thought he would disintegrate from that punch.
Having witnessed the power of a mature Titan before, being a mere inferior demon, he still felt that he couldn’t take a direct punch from a mature Titan; any encounter would surely result in his death.
“A juvenile Titan.” The devil, massive in size, looked at the slightly taller Muria, his face full of delight.
“My luck seems to be quite good.” Muria looked at the demon he had summoned with a twitching mouth, “I actually summoned the highest-level demon, the Abyss Refining Demon.”
Muria had summoned an Abyss Refining Demon thirty meters tall, its body burning with demonic flames that could scorch the soul. And beneath it, there were twenty-seven dark red Soul Intent Circles with complicated patterns.
“Your highness! This is a Soul-intent Peak level demon, isn’t it?” A Storm Giant asked, his voice slightly hoarse.
“It is the Soul-intent Peak,” Muria squinted as he observed the Abyss Refining Demon, whose wounds were rapidly healing at a visible speed. The dented bones were automatically readjusting and the damaged muscle tissue grew rapidly.
“But there’s something wrong with it.” Muria calculated before the summoning; he is not so arrogant as to act recklessly. His magic array couldn’t possibly summon a real Sou-intent Peak level demon.
“It’s injured.” Muria watched the Abyss Refining Demon’s Soul Intent Circles underneath it. The majority of the outer circles are dim and lightless, only the eight innermost circles still flashed with an evil and foul light.
“He only has a small part of his power left, let’s gang up on him.” Muria led the charge, his body enwreathed with thunder and storm, followed closely by the Storm Giants who held up their heavy weapons, and they all launched an attack together…
