Kiss the Scumbag-Chapter 11
"Just hang on a little longer. Once the will is read, everything will be fine."
Winston stopped rubbing his forehead and looked at his mother through his fingers.
She gazed back at him with a face full of love, speaking confidently.
"You don’t have to worry. You know exactly what Harold’s will will contain, right? He’ll share some with your other siblings, but it will only be scraps. Everything will be yours. Trust me."
She spoke in a tone meant to lift his spirits, but it was completely misplaced.
Winston thought she still didn’t understand him, then or now. But he had long stopped complaining about that, and at this point, it didn’t matter to him. What truly concerned Winston now was something entirely different.
"Mother."
Winston spoke without changing his posture.
Campbell’s mother immediately focused her attention on him as he asked in his usual cold voice.
"You were the one who told them to guide Yujin to my bedroom, weren’t you?"
"What?"
Campbell’s mother looked visibly startled by the unexpected question, and that was exactly the reaction Winston had predicted.
Once he realized his assumption was correct, he furrowed his brows even deeper.
"Mother, don’t do something so childish."
"I don’t know anything about that."
Campbell’s mother quickly denied it, but she already knew it was too late. With no way out, she reluctantly confessed.
"When I smelled your pheromones, I thought you’d lose your mind and make a fool of yourself in front of him. I just wanted to show you in your true form, in case you started falling for that filthy thing again."
She made a long-winded excuse for herself, but as expected, Winston only sighed deeply with a furrowed brow.
"You did it to make me cautious? Mother, what if I had lost control and done something to him?"
At Winston’s pointed remark, Campbell’s mother replied sternly.
"That wouldn’t happen. That boy is just an ordinary omega. You’re an extreme alpha. Besides, you must have already drained your pheromones at the party. There’s no way you’d be affected by the pheromones of some insignificant boy."
This was also exactly what Winston had expected.
Had he not gone to the pheromone party last night, she would have never dared to do such a thing.
But she was overestimating him.
"Your son is just a lowly alpha."
Winston said, but Campbell’s mother immediately denied it with a stern expression.
"No, you’re an extreme alpha, just like your father."
The only extreme alpha in the family.
Because of that, Winston, even though he was the youngest, inherited most of the family’s assets.
Campbell’s mother had always expected that Winston, the most gifted of her children, would carry on the family legacy, but when he manifested as an extreme alpha, her belief turned into certainty.
Her youngest son was perfect. The leech that had latched onto him briefly was nothing more than a small stain in his life.
But her pride in her son’s brilliance became a hindrance at times.
He could always see through others’ tricks and schemes so easily that she could never do anything about it.
Still, Winston had fallen for one trick.
It wasn’t just a scheme that everyone had poured all their energy into.
The ultimate reason for its success was something else, and Campbell’s mother had always been uneasy about it.
In the ◆ Nоvеlіgһt ◆ (Only on Nоvеlіgһt) end, she had gotten what she wanted, and she comforted herself with that. freewёbnoνel.com
If Winston hadn’t loved that filthy thing so much, he wouldn’t have fallen for such a shallow trick.
Blinded by love, he hadn’t been able to make rational decisions, and he had made an enormous mistake.
And he still hadn’t realized it.
Had things gone as planned, he would have never known, and it would have ended that way.
But Harold pulling that trick at the very end had been unexpected.
Campbell’s mother was once again filled with hatred for her departed husband. Had he felt any guilt before he died? What about the remaining children? What about me?
He had left her, turning her world upside down to the very end.
If she could, she would bring Harold back to life, just so she could kill him herself.
"Anyway, forget about that filthy thing. It doesn’t matter anymore, right? Everything will be fine from now on."
Campbell’s mother said as she stood and kissed Winston on the head.
Winston didn’t like being treated like a child, but he said nothing.
After his mother left, Winston was left alone in the breakfast room, leaning back in his chair and gazing out of the large window in the wall.
Through the trees swaying in the cool breeze, he could see birds chirping. It was a peaceful morning.
It was the complete opposite of how he felt inside.
Damn it.
As he remembered it, the heat in his lower body flared up again.
He had drained his pheromones, so it should have been fine, right?
His mother’s calm words made him seethe with anger.
It sounded like something a beta would say, something foolish and naive.
Yes, if it had been another omega, her words would have made sense.
But the one lying in the bed was Yujin.
The very Yujin who had once been his omega.
He had been lying there, completely unaware, his naked body exposed to the world.
When he had first seen him, Winston had thought he was hallucinating from the pheromones or that his long-standing insomnia was finally getting to him.
But the scent in the room, mixed with his familiar pheromone scent, made it absolutely clear: this was reality.
It was Yujin’s omega scent.
There was no way he could have mistaken it.
Even at the pheromone party, Winston had never been excited by the scent. In fact, the smell had disgusted him so much that he had almost left the place.
But this scent, the one that stirred him, was unique. It was Yujin’s.
The moment he realized this, his sanity almost slipped away.
His heart raced, and heat surged through his body. Was this real? Was it really Yujin?
Yujin had really come back to him?
Unable to believe it, he froze, unable to blink as he simply stared at Yujin.
The bright moonlight illuminated his whole body.
The soft curve of his lips, his long neck, his slender chest with the small, perfectly shaped nipples, his taut waist, and his toned legs — everything was just as it had been.
Winston couldn’t pull himself together.
It was exactly like the day Yujin had first given himself to him.
The satisfaction and triumph he had felt then, as if he had the whole world.
As those memories resurfaced, Winston’s mind went blank.
The pale light of the moon reflected off Yujin’s body, and now, once again, Yujin was tempting him.
‘Winnie.’
From his hair to his toenails, everything about him was beautiful.
Winston suddenly remembered just how deeply he had fallen for him.
Yujin had been sitting on the bed, naked, whispering his name and opening his arms wide, as if begging him to hold him.
Of course, Winston couldn’t refuse Yujin, and after that, he had become completely enslaved by him.
He would do anything for Yujin.
Had Yujin told him to die, he would have done it. He loved him with all his heart, and he had given him everything.
Even after realizing how much Yujin had played with him, he had loved him.
But that Yujin was no longer here.
The Yujin Winston had loved was nothing more than a fantasy.
When he realized everything, the illusion had shattered, and so had his love for him.
But unfortunately, Yujin’s body still had the same effect on him.
Even after all those years, after everything that had happened, after not seeing him for so long, just his mere presence shook Winston to his core.
He hadn’t even touched him, hadn’t smiled at him, hadn’t done anything, but just by lying in bed and sleeping, Yujin had completely unsettled him.
That moment proved his defeat.
If only he had just embraced Yujin, he could have at least blamed it on the pheromones, or the fact that Yujin was naked in bed, or the fact that he was just a whore — he could have justified it somehow.
But Winston, out of anger, had pointed the gun at him.
That action itself proved he had never truly forgotten Yujin.
He couldn’t forget the love he had once felt, nor the betrayal that had dragged him through hell.
And he couldn’t forget that he was still completely captivated by Yujin.
This would be the last time.
Winston rubbed his face with both hands, washed his face with a sigh.
It wasn’t even worth confronting anymore.
Yujin had carried someone else’s seed and even had a child.
