Kiss the Scumbag-Chapter 20
Yujin frantically shook his head.
The desperate thought that things really might go exactly as Winston said sent panic rushing through him.
He couldn’t hide his unease.
"That's impossible.
You know how we feel about each other.
You... you don’t want to marry me and have a kid either, do you?"
His voice was weak and strained as he tried to argue, but Winston only curled his lips into a mocking smile.
"Of course.
The thought of someone like you carrying my child makes me sick.
But what can I do?
‘My’ father, who loves ‘you’ so damn much, insists on seeing that spectacle before he dies."
Winston laughed faintly, his tone laced with scorn, then deliberately dragged his words, frowning as if even mentioning it was disgusting.
"There’s no other way."
No, there had to be.
There had to be another way.
Yujin spoke desperately.
"You know what it takes to have a child, right?
You’d have to sleep with me.
You’d have to have sex."
This time, Yujin thought even Winston would be put off.
But, of course, he was wrong.
Winston answered without hesitation.
"I don’t care.
It’s no different from fucking an omega whore at a pheromone party."
He had already thought about everything.
Every problem Yujin raised had probably been processed and calculated dozens of times already in Winston’s head.
He had likely weighed every possibility.
And this was the conclusion he had come to.
No matter what Yujin said, nothing would change.
Winston had already made up his mind.
And once he did, nothing would shake him.
Winston Campbell was that kind of man.
But Yujin couldn’t accept it.
"But having a child... that's..."
As Yujin barely squeezed the words out, Winston mercilessly cut him off.
"Don’t worry.
I’m not going to make you raise it."
As if he had predicted this reaction, Winston continued smoothly.
"Once the child is born, it’s mine.
You just take the money and leave.
Oh, and take that kid you brought with you too."
There was no flaw in Winston's logic.
But something still stuck with Yujin.
"...You’re going to raise it?"
He couldn’t help but ask at the unexpected declaration, completely unfit for a man like Winston.
Noticing his thoughts, Winston frowned and scoffed.
"Of course.
Did you really think I’d let you raise my child?"
This whole situation had been unimaginable from the start. freewebnoveℓ.com
Naturally, Yujin hadn’t thought about what came after either.
Without giving him any room, Winston pressed on.
"Or are you worried you’ll be stuck with another unwanted child?"
"What are you talking about?"
Yujin’s voice sharpened at the offensive suggestion.
Seeing this, Winston shrugged casually with his hands still in his pockets.
"Baby, we both know each other inside out.
Stop pretending in front of me.
Save that act for others."
His purple eyes narrowed as he looked down at Yujin, filled with undisguised contempt.
"You're ⊛ Nоvеlιght ⊛ (Read the full story) disgusting."
His words and behavior weren’t any different from before.
As if insulting and trampling Yujin was his right.
Yujin could endure humiliation directed at himself.
But mocking his child — that, he could not forgive.
"Don’t talk about Angie like that.
You don’t know anything."
Winston let out a faint laugh, like wind passing through.
"I don’t know?"
"That's right."
Yujin glared fiercely, issuing a clear warning.
"Say whatever you want about me.
But not about Angie.
If you bring her up again like that, I’ll never forgive you."
Though his words were sincere, Winston’s reaction was indifferent, like saying and what exactly will you do about it?
And that irritated Yujin even more because it was true.
"So you don’t want to talk about the child."
Winston asked carelessly, but before Yujin could respond, he continued on his own.
"Of course you wouldn’t.
That child is the price you paid for living like a slut all these years."
Ignoring the warning, Winston casually intertwined mocking Yujin and insulting the child, as if Angie was punishment sent by heaven.
"Angie is a blessing to me."
Yujin shot back immediately, but Winston only sneered and asked sarcastically.
"Do you even know whose child she is?"
"She’s mine."
"Ha."
Winston burst out laughing, making it clear how ridiculous he found that answer.
It was obviously mockery.
But Yujin didn't waver.
"I don’t need a papa.
As long as it's just the two of us, that’s enough."
He had always thought so.
And it had been enough until now.
It would be the same from now on.
With a determined expression, Yujin declared that, but Winston’s reaction was indifferent.
"I’ve already prepared the contract.
Once you sign it, the process will begin immediately."
"What contract?"
Yujin frowned, confused by the sudden remark, but Winston smirked.
"A prenuptial agreement, of course.
You didn’t think I’d marry you without any conditions, did you?"
Winston spoke with conviction.
He was sure Yujin would do anything for money.
Of course, that’s exactly why Yujin had come here — but this part was different.
"I’m not going to marry you.
And I’m not going to have your child."
Yujin straightened his back and spoke firmly.
"Think of something else.
If there’s no other way, I’ll give up the inheritance."
"Give up the money? You?"
Winston snorted as if it was utterly ridiculous, but Yujin didn’t back down.
"Yeah.
It wouldn’t change much for me anyway.
I’ll just go back to how I’ve been living."
Of course, it was bravado.
Yujin could live scraping by — but not Angie.
That was the only reason he endured having his pride trampled and came back to sit here again, facing Winston.
He was no different from any other parent who just wanted to raise their child in a safe, stable environment.
And there was only one reason he could act this bold.
Winston would never give up the inheritance.
Which meant Yujin was an essential part of achieving that goal.
That was his only weapon.
And he wasn’t going to give up so easily.
"I will never marry you."
If he stubbornly refused, Winston would eventually be forced to come up with another plan.
That was what Yujin firmly believed as he glared at him.
But unexpectedly, Winston's face twisted strangely.
"No, you will."
"I will?
What makes you think that?"
Yujin frowned and sneered.
"Isn’t your ego a little out of control?
Sorry to disappoint you, but even if you’re the last Alpha on earth, I would never marry you or sleep with you."
For the first time, Yujin felt like he had seized the upper hand.
He vowed not to let go of it again.
But right then, Winston, who had been staring at him with narrowed eyes, slowly spoke.
"Baby."
Yujin felt a chill of foreboding.
Winston twisted his lips into a sinister smirk and muttered.
"Do you think I don’t know whose child she really is?"
In an instant, Yujin’s mind went completely blank.
No — it was more accurate to say it emptied out.
His heart, which had seemed to stop for a moment, began pounding violently as his mouth dried up.
What?
What did I just hear?
What did this man just say to me?
"Wh-what do you mean whose child?
I told you. She’s mine."
At Yujin’s completely different reaction this time, Winston frowned slightly and smirked coldly.
And in that moment, Yujin realized he had made a huge mistake.
No matter what he said now, it wouldn’t help.
It would be better to keep his mouth shut to avoid making things worse.
But it already felt like it was too late.
"Don’t bother."
Winston stared directly at Yujin, who was visibly panicking, and slowly spoke with terrifying certainty.
"I already know.
Everything."
Winston’s voice sent chills down Yujin’s spine.
His sharp gaze cut through him mercilessly.
"Don’t even try to play dumb or scheme.
All you’ll do is expose just how pathetic you really are."
"That's... a lie..."
The words barely left Yujin’s lips, his voice hollow.
His eyes shook violently as he muttered weakly.
"A lie?"
Winston repeated with a sneer.
"Yes!"
Yujin shouted desperately, his voice cracking from panic.
"How would you even know?
That’s absurd!
If you think you can fool me with that bullshit, it won’t work!
Do you think I’ll fall for it?"
