"Are we still going to continue?" the man asked in shock. They had just been robbed. It made complete sense for them to return to the Academy, but they were still going to rush forward?

"Why? Are you worried that we are going to be robbed again?" Elten picked up the book, and laid cozily on the chair. He covered his face with the book again, and closed his eyes.

"Wake me up when we reach the destination."

He would have chased after the Pirates if they took someone like his brother. And he would have returned to the Academy if they took a descendant of some major family, as it meant the test would've been cancelled.

If it was just an ordinary student, he didn't need to do either of that. He could still continue the test, and let the Academy deal with the rest.

It didn't matter if the Academy wanted to send a crusading force into the Chaotic Realm to crush the pirates and save the child. It had nothing to do with him, even though he was in charge of this test.

"The students who will be taking part in the test were just robbed. Every treasure or medicine that they might have prepared for the test, might have been stolen," the man said in hesitation.

"So?" Elten answered in a single word, anything more being a waste of his time.

"Isn't this unfair for them to compete with the Creator Class when they lost everything they might have prepared? They would be crushed."

"If they will be crushed just because they can't rely on external treasures, then it's their problem. Don't disturb me anymore."

Elten stopped responding, and the man didn't ask any questions either. He was simply cursing his luck for being stuck with such a lazy person.

His laziness wasn't even the worst part about him. The worst thing about him was that he was completely moody.

One moment, he might even talk back to the Dean of the Academy, or try to kill another Professor to get their body. The next moment, he wouldn't budge even an inch, even when someone walked all over his dignity by robbing the ship that he was in charge of.

The man gave up on trying to understand Elten. He sent a few men to deliver the information to the students that there was no change in plans about the upcoming test.

Meanwhile, he spent the next few hours writing detailed information. He sent the information back to the Academy, along with everything that Elten had said.

He didn't forget to sneak in a few complaints that he had about Elten, including the fact that they allowed pirates to enter the ship in the first place.

He knew that he might be in deep trouble if his complaint was discovered by Elten, but he had faith in the higher ups that they wouldn't do such a thing.

There was an urgent meeting called by the higher ups, which included the Head of the Administrative Department, the Head of Defence Department, the Head of Teaching Department and a few more prominent names.

Just as Astralious had said, a big ripple was created by a seemingly insignificant incident of a single kidnapping and robbery.

On the other hand, the battleship that was robbed, had an even more explosive atmosphere. The children complained less about being robbed, and more about the fact that the test wasn't cancelled even after all their preparations were ruined because of the robbery.

The loudest were still the ones that relied on external treasures, hoping to get a good reward in the coming test.

Unfortunately, it didn't matter how loud they were. Their words didn't even reach the professor who was in charge of them in this test. The person was simply sleeping, as peacefully as ever.

In the entire ship, there were people who were upset with Elten's decision. There were also people who didn't care about that decision in any way, shape or form. But there was only one person who was happy with the decision.

The moment Elias heard the news that their trip to earth wasn't cancelled, he could finally sigh in relief.

He put his worries to rest, and was more relaxed for the rest of the journey. Fortunately, the journey was also very peaceful from that point onwards.

The journey that was said to take less than fifty hours if everything went smoothly, took close to sixty hours before it came to an end.

The Academy's Battleship reached closer to Earth, and soon entered the atmosphere. Through the window, Elias watched the familiar moon in the distance, a sight that felt like a dream.

He was back on earth after a long time, but it was an earth that lacked any semblance of life anymore. Moreover, they weren't alone here either.

The Battleship stopped a few hundred meters above the ground, and another battleship could be seen in the distance that came here much earlier than them.

"We have reached the earth. Every student is advised to step out of their rooms and reach the exit." An announcement was heard in every room and the doors opened on their own.

Elias stepped out of the room, and traced across the hallways to reach the exit of the battlefield. With each step he took, his heartbeat grew stronger, as he was getting closer to his home.

In this journey, he had often imagined what this moment would feel like. Now that it was finally here, it was surreal. It was the land of death, where he had lived the worst moments of his life. It was also the place where almost all his happy memories resided.

This was the world called Earth, which was an insignificant star for the upper world, but everything for him.
