"Just to clarify, you're 100% Sure she's been secured…right?" Covered in a cold sweat and constantly looking over his shoulder up at the staircase leading to the basement, Aoni asked with a shaky voice.

"Yes, yes, why are you so worried anyway? It's not like Clara would ever hurt you… at least physically." Anthony stated with dead eyes while crossing his arms and waiting beside the family Flume.

"L..look, im not saying she would, but after what happened the other day, she hasn't left me alone for a single minute."

"Dude, you are acting like she's a stalker…"

"THAT'S BECAUSE SHE IS ONE, ANT!"

"Blah blah, she just wants to coddle you, what's so bad about that, anyway, after blowing up the kitchen door like that, you know damn well Mom bea…COUGH punished her fiercely."

'you were going to say beat the shit out of her…weren't you, Ant.' Aoni thought while noticing Cammy and Lea appearing atop the stairs to see them off.

It was the same scene as the last time he left for Genovia, a crying Cammy who had spent the entire weekend following him around like a puppy holding one of the many stuffed animals he'd given her.

Apart from being smothered by Clara's affection more times than he could count, it was a nice visit, and by the end of it, Aoni kind of wanted to spend another day home; however, he knew every day he had here would mean three had passed for Glacia and Nyria, so he was itching to return, especially after the Goblin horde attack.

Plus…there was no telling what kind of mess he'd be returning to.

"Again, just checking, but you're sure I don't need to have my Lord's Display unlocked for you to come over, right?" Although it had been explained to him about a hundred times, Aoni was still unsure about bringing his brother along to his Territory; after all, technically, without the Lord's Display, there wasn't any way for him to adjust who could come and go from his Territory; however, there was an exception to that rule he'd been unaware of.

"Sigh, for the millionth time, Aoni, so long as it's a family member with physical contact with you, and they use our Family Flume, there won't be any issues; that's the whole point of having us all linked to the same one; so will you please stop worrying so much." Pinching the brim of his nose, Anthony really felt that his brother was one of the smartest idiots he'd ever met.

Sometimes, Aoni was sharp as a blade and could strategize like no one he'd ever met before; however, other times…it was like dealing with someone younger than Cammy.

Either his kid brother had selective hearing or was fucking with him; Ant really couldn't tell, even after all these years.

"A…anyway, when we get there, don't be too surprised. I've been hard at work, so the place looks pretty good," Wearing a cheeky smile, Aoni blew a kiss to his baby sister and Mom before turning to face the Flume.

However, right before he spoke the mental command, he felt Anthony's strong hand clutching his shoulder tightly.

"Ready when you are, little brother," Ant said with a faint smile and nod.

Unfortunately, right as Aoni nodded and looked back to the Flume, there was a loud bang coming from upstairs followed by the sound of hurried footsteps.

"Shit, hurry up, the beast broke her constraints!" Panic in his voice because it was he who'd secured Clara, Ant shoved Aoni forward a bit, causing him to stumble while speaking the mental command to activate the Flume.

"No~ you're hyperventilating; calm down; without physical contact with you, Clara can't follow us, so deep breaths, calm down."

"GULP, you're right, you're totally right, the she-devil can't follow us, it's all good, no need to freak out about her suddenly sneak attacking us and dragging me into the training room for six hours of beatings…"

With that last line, the two brothers floated along in silence, yet there was no awkwardness between them. It was honestly like this with all of the siblings; no matter what kind of shenanigans they got into at home, there was an unspoken bond between all of them and comfort, which had been formed through years of always being present or there for each other.

Yes, even between Clara and Aoni.

While she was extremely handsy and a lot to deal with, and a brocon who couldn't be trusted alone with Aoni…okay, that's a joke, but what it boiled down to is that any one of them would fight to the bitter end to defend each other.

"Little extravagant with the lighting, but from what you've told us, you basically have a Crystal mine. I will say, though, the Natural Energia here is top notch." Closing his eyes and extending his perception to feel the Ambient Energia, Ant wore a faint yet proud smile.

"Meh, it's not like ima light a bunch of fires all over the place; plus, these things don't require maintenance and stay lit at all hours." Walking past his brother, Aoni brought a finger to his temple and reached out to his summons through his LoS.
