"Will you calm down already, Aoni?" Massaging his temples and using magic to dull the screeching coming from Aoni, Anthony regretted ever saying a word to his kid brother.
"Calm down? CALM DOWN, DUDE YOU JUST TOLD ME THAT YOU…ANTHONY, who has ALWAYS CLAIMED TO BE A 3-star, is technically at 5-star, and you expect me to sit here calmly and twiddle my thumbs? Nah nah." Waving his finger, standing from his chair, and leaning forward, Aoni's words spilled out in a flurry not unlike Nyria when she's overexcited.
"Sigh…I knew this would happen, AONI SHUT UP AND SIT YOUR ASS DOWN!"
"Okay." Plopping down and sitting with his back straight and both hands properly placed on the table, Aoni stared blankly at his brother and acted on pure instinct.
Very, VERY rarely does Ant yell, yet on the off chance he does, it's almost like he's channeling Lea…enough so that Aoni reacted in the same way that he would if it were truly his Mom yelling.
"Good, now listen up, TECHNICALLY SPEAKING, my Grade is only at 3-Stars…however, the way I am graded is a bit different thanks to how my Attribute works."
"Like with many other Mage Archetypes, my power system revolves around engraving Spell circles onto my EC, with each circle bringing about a qualitative change in power."
"So while I may only be at 3-Stars on paper and in my TD, I have already formed my 5th Circle, giving me strength on par with someone who actually IS at 5-Stars." Picking up his coffee mug and taking another sip, Anthony waited for the onslaught of questions that would be thrown in the next few seconds.
Of which, the first came before he even had a chance to savor his drink.
"You did something stupid, didn't you?"
"It was a calculated risk with a 65% chance of success."
Hearing this, Aoni frowned because, to be honest, he was the last one to talk when it came to doing reckless shit; however, that didn't mean he wouldn't chastise his brother for doing the exact same thing like a hypocrite.
"The only reason it was possible is because my Defense was higher than any of my other stats. Combine that with my two highest passives, Spellweaving and Spellcrafting, and I was able to bypass the rigid norm of one Circle per Star."
"However, it's not something I can do infinitely; in fact, if I were to try and push further and create my 6th Circle there is a less than 10% chance of it succeeding. The drop-off in completion is too radical after bypassing my natural Attribute Grade."

"I see…two passives, a high Defense Stat, and a High Energia Rank, combine those with your insane calculation skills and innate intelligence, plus a fire-based Magic Attribute, and you were able to break the limits…as illogical as that sounds, it seems perfectly reasonable."
"Huh, what the hell do you mean perfectly reasonable? Why does it sound like you aren't impressed in the least…" Narrowing his eyes and finding fault with Aoni's words, Anthony examined his brother carefully with a keen eye.
"Well, if it were me before becoming a traveler, I probably would be bouncing around and calling you a Genius Beyond Geniuses; however, it seems that our reckless and limit-breaking growth runs in the family."
"Uh…how do I put this…" Chewing on his bottom lip and debating how much he should tell Anthony, Aoni plotted out his next sentence carefully before speaking.
'Please tell me you have a good way of describing things right now…' Looking toward the floating chatbox, Aoni asked because although he trusted Ant, that didn't mean he was comfortable leaking all his secrets so early when he didn't even fully understand them all himself yet.

"When I first accessed my Traveler's display and saw my Stats… well, let's just say it left A LOT to be desired."
"That bad?"
"You don't even know, basically, I was stuck at the bottom of the bottom of the barrel. G- in everything."
"Tssss, shit, wait…but your Veeramon Score was off the charts for a newbie…"
"Yeah, well, you see, living here, something changed in me, either because of the insane Energia Content in the air or some other factor that I'm not sure about, but what I can tell you is that I am able to increase ALL of my stats now drastically…" Pausing for a moment, Aoni took out a sheet of paper, opened his TD, and copied down what was listed before sliding it across the table.

Woah, woah, wait a second, I thought you've already unlocked your 3rd Star?" Reading through the few lines scribbled down on the paper, Anthony couldn't hope back his shock.
"I don't have all the answers, but my theory is that something changed in my body on a fundamental level, allowing me to skip ahead slightly and continuously increase my stats through a crazy amount of effort." Carefully watching Anthony's body language, Aoni merely followed whatever his AN was telling him to say.
That is until his brother said something that caused him to sit straight.
"Energia-Blessing…"
"What now?"
"Energia-Blessing, it's a myth of sorts, completely unproven, yet at the same time, the phrase pops up in a lot of ancient texts, especially the ones originating in Genovia." Drumming his fingers on the table, Anthony snapped his fingers, surprising everyone by igniting the sheet of paper and burning it to cinders.
Funny enough, it was Glacia who seemed the most interested in the random fireball that appeared, and she quickly began bouncing around Ant, trying to get him to, as she said, "Do da trick again!"
Humoring the floof a couple more times, Anthony redirected his attention back to Aoni and explained the principle of Energia-Blessing to the best of his ability.
