Ch.192 Grand Wedding (4)

Yan Cheng turned around, looked at them condescendingly, and slowly sorted out the cufflinks of his suit. The surface of the cufflinks was carved with a delicate pattern. He glanced at it, touched it with his fingers, and then interrupted their conversation.

"That’s enough, let’s not talk about someone that kills the joy on my big day."

"Okay, okay, okay." Chai Yue shut himself up and raised his hand to make a sealing motion on his lips. After a few seconds, he then said, "Then I shall root for Brother Cheng to work harder and give Chichi a younger sister."

Yan Cheng: "…..."

No more additions, one is more than enough for him to handle.

**********

It was half past nine in the morning.

Yan Cheng rushed to the Chen’s to bring up a proposal for marriage.

At the Chen’s.

Chen Jinyao was dressed in a white wedding dress that highlighted her exquisite figure. She sat on the bed in the bedroom, and smiled as she watched the bridesmaids having fun.

When they touched a topic of her interest, she would occasionally join in.

Wearing a small shirt along with a small black bow tie on his collar, Yan Chichi, who had on plaid suspenders, had been sticking to Chen Jinyao.

He pulled on her hand and said that he would not let go, as if his eyes were filled with stars, they shined bright, as he just stared right at her.

"Mummy is so beautiful." He had a sweet mouth.

Not sure how many girls’ hearts he will break in the future.

Chen Jinyao pinched his chubby face, bent down and gave his nose a tap, "Well, Chichi is also very handsome."

He was praised and smiled sweetly.

"Grandma said, handsome guys match well with beautiful women."

Chen Jinyao didn't pay much attention when she heard him muttering.

Around ten twenty-five.

Yan Cheng arrived at the Chen's.

When he stepped out of the car, the first thing that caught the others’ eyes were his long legs that were wrapped in his suit pants. As their gaze slowly raised, the white shirt under his suit felt even more eye-catching. He buttoned up all the way to the top, which felt inexplicably abstinent. His belt showed his narrow waistline, it looked as if he had a slight build, but he was actually packed when undressed and slim when dressed.

He went straight to the destination.

There were obvious emotions flashing through the bottom of his eyes.

Nervous, happy, excited…...

All at once.

But they were already an old married couple.

But the sense of ritual brought by this ceremony made him think that for some reason, he was getting married for the first time, and the bride behind this door was the girl he loved.

He overcame all the difficulties along the way to get here, and when he knocked on the door, he unconsciously gulped nervously

The bridesmaids inside were asking for red packets.

He stuffed a dozen of them through the crack under the door.

But it still wasn’t enough for them.

Yan Cheng squinted his eyes, and felt slightly annoyed.

There was a moment of silence.

He took the stack of red packets from Chai Yue and took a picture with his phone.

And he sent it to one of the bridesmaids.

Yan Cheng: [Open the door, and this will be all yours.]

She must look gorgeous in her wedding dress.

He had pictured it thousands of times in his mind, but it was nothing compared to how he felt when he saw her with his own eyes. His wife and child occupied his entire view.

His wife smiled sweetly as she looked at him, and that made his heart pound.

The surrounding noise gradually died down.

Everyone held their breaths in as they waited for the moment where the groom would hug the bride in his arms.

Yan Cheng raised his lips.

And looked definitely at Chen Jinyao.

He walked towards her step by step.

He looked down as his heart trembled.

He wanted to kiss her, hug her, and hide her somewhere no one could see.

He guessed that his voice would sound rather hoarse now, as he didn’t drink any water for quite some time.

His lips moved slightly, and before he could call out "my wife", he was cut off by a crisp voice.

The crisp voice came from his own son.

"Mummy."

"Be with Chichi, Chichi will take care of you when Chichi grows up!"

"We don't want Daddy anymore."

"Chichi loves you!!!”

Yan Cheng: "……………………"
