Chapter 214: Healing - 7

Silas’s POV

To be honest, I was really shocked after reading that the priest was calling Theron his son. Like, why? And how? I froze there for a moment after hearing that. As I glanced at Theron, he was literally glaring at that priest.

I extended my hand and grabbed Theron’s arm.

"Theron, are you okay?"

He looked at me and ruffled my hair. "I am fine, don’t worry about me."

"I think this priest has gone mad, so let’s not waste our time on him and let’s leave from here."

When Theron said this, I nodded. Well, yes, why would we waste precious time on such a crazy priest? Yes, I’m grateful that he healed Theron. But it doesn’t give him the right to be Theron’s father, even if he healed him.

This priest should go to a psychiatrist, because I don’t think Divine Power is gonna heal him. Those Divine Powers which are inside him—I think they’re making him lose his mind.

Everyone was confused, still we turned around to leave from there. And when we turned, that priest didn’t say anything.

It means he also understood that what he was saying was total bullshit. And in just a second, I saw a white fog around us.

Like that fog was trying to cover us, and I started to feel dizzy. My eyes started getting blurry as I looked around.

Even though I was holding Theron’s hand, when I glanced at him, my vision kept blurring. Like I was losing my sight. That’s why I clenched tightly onto his arm.

"Theron, what is happening here? It’s like I can’t see anymore. My eyes are getting blurry. And I’m even feeling dizzy."

Theron wrapped his hands around my waist, but in a second, I closed my eyes—and everything went dark.

And again, when I opened my eyes, I saw a lantern. It looked historical, like something from ancient times. Still rubbing my eyes, when I looked around, I saw it was a dungeon. We were inside a dungeon cell.

As I sat up, my eyes gazed around, and then I saw there was a coat pillow under my head, and a coat was covering me too.

They were Lysander and Kael’s coats—the ones they were wearing a while ago. I glanced around and saw Kael and Lysander sitting there in the corner, and they were only wearing shirts.

And then I noticed—Van was sitting right beside me in a meditation position. Like, who does meditation in this kind of situation? And when I looked to my right side, I saw Kara sitting there, curled up, hugging his knees.

I quickly stood up from there because, of course, the situation was enough to make anyone panic. Waking up in a dungeon all of a sudden—what had happened?

And then I noticed Theron and Damon were not here. That’s why I grabbed the shackles of the cell and glanced outside.

There were many cells out there, and seeing that, I remembered the Dark Valley. Once, Theron and I were locked in the Dark Valley dungeon. It felt like déjà vu.

And I’m sure this is all that priest’s doing. Because when we were leaving, he didn’t say anything.

I thought he had dropped the idea of making Theron live here—but no. He had some other ideas. And now, I think he’s the one who took Theron—and Damon too. But why Damon?

Just then, I felt a touch on my shoulder. So I glanced around and saw Van was standing there.

"Van, how did we end up in a dungeon? And you’re the high priest here—then why are you also here?"

Of course, as much as I know, Van is a high priest, and everyone listens to him. There’s no way someone like that crazy priest could even get Van locked up with us. Or is there something wrong here that I didn’t notice?

"Everyone, what is happening here? Why are we in a dungeon right now?" I asked.

As I asked, Kara stood up and walked over to me. And as he stood beside me, I was looking at him.

"Actually, we all passed out suddenly, and when we opened our eyes, we saw we were already in the dungeon. So we have no idea how we ended up here."

So my guess was right. Everyone passed out, and after that, we were brought here. But how are we going to leave from here? And I don’t know what the priest is gonna do with Theron.

And just then, Lysander stepped forward. I didn’t expect him to say anything, because he had been standing silently, and he usually kept quiet.

"That priest seems psycho. Because seeing how only we are here, and Mr. Damon and Theron are not—it means he has some ulterior motives toward them."

Mr. Damon. When he used to call him Mr. Damon, I used to think he worked in his company. But yes, he didn’t really let anyone know that Damon is his elder brother.

Whatever. I don’t care about that.

"Van, you also have magic, right? Because you’re the high priest. Can you help us get out of this dungeon?"

As I said that, Van scratched his head while glancing around. I didn’t know what to expect from him after seeing that reaction.

"Actually, Silas, I can’t even use my powers here. I tried earlier to break this door, but I can’t do it. My powers are sealed inside this dungeon."

His powers are sealed or not—we don’t know that. Only he knows. So, I’m not gonna bother asking him again to do something. ’Cause I can see he’s not gonna be any help to us.

And then I noticed there was no lock on the door. But when we were pushing it, it wasn’t even opening. Like, the lock was created by magic—that’s why it was invisible.

But how are we supposed to leave from here, if magic is used to seal the door? I don’t know what to do?
