Chapter 220: Separation - 1

Last night, when Velric and the Queen were watching TV, after a while, Velric got tired and fell asleep again. And in the morning, when he woke up,

He found that he was still lying on the sofa and there was no clue of Silas at all.

Still, he sat up, came down from the sofa, and started to look around to see if Silas was there or not.

But even after searching the whole living room, he didn’t find Silas. And when he didn’t find him, he got scared and started to cry.

"Waaaahhh...Mumma..... Mumma, where are you??"

"Mummaaa!"

The Queen was resting in her room when Velric had fallen asleep again.

When he started to cry, the Queen also heard it and came down.

But she was a little frustrated hearing his crying in the morning and calling for his mom.

"Hey, shut up... Can’t you be a little more mature? Don’t cry!"

Seeing her, Velric ran towards her because he remembered that she was talking nicely with him last night and even watched TV with him.

She was the one who told Velric that Silas would come in a few hours.

So Velric hoped that she would tell him when Silas was going to come back.

"Grandma... where is Mumma?"

"I told you, didn’t I? He will come back later. Don’t worry about him. And you are an Alpha. Alphas don’t cry."

Velric was sad after hearing this, that’s why he started to look down while holding his tears back.

He wanted to cry, but what she said was stuck in his mind, and he silently sat down on the ground, hugging his knees.

He looked so pitiful, like there was no one with him. He only glanced at the door while waiting for Silas. Seeing that, she picked him up in her arms and sat down on the sofa.

Everything was normal after they sat down, and in a few minutes, the servant also brought breakfast.

But as the servant brought the breakfast and put it down on the table, the Queen gave the bowl of milk to Velric, but he couldn’t hold the bowl properly since his hands were so small, and the bowl was a little big compared to his hands.

And that bowl fell from Velric’s hand. As the bowl fell, it broke into pieces.

And seeing that, Velric got so scared that she was going to scold him, he started to cry loudly.

"Mumma... I am sorry... I am sorry!"

Instead of comforting Velric, the Queen just stood there dumbfounded, watching him.

She thought Velric was crying because he missed his real parents. That’s why she called the police.

She told the police that Velric was from the Lupin Pack and sent him back there. Velric was crying.

Velric even grabbed the Queen’s hand to not let her send him away because he understood she was sending him.

But she didn’t care about anything. In the end, the police took him.

They were going to put him in an orphanage first until they found his parents.

She knew that Silas was not Velric’s real parent, like Damon had said.

That’s why she believed she did the right thing by sending Velric away.

Because if she did this, Theron and Silas would get even closer—like Velric was coming between them.

"Pardon? I didn’t understand, ma’am. What did you just say?" freewebnσvel.cøm

Silas thought he had heard something wrong—that she had sent Velric to his real parents?

"But he was missing his parents. That’s why I sent him away from here to his real parents. And it’s good for him and for you too, isn’t it?"

Silas’s eyes widened after hearing this. He couldn’t believe his ears—how could she do something like this? And now she was saying it was good for Silas?

"Where did you send him? Tell me." Silas asked he was losing his patience.

She crossed her arms near her chest and looked to the other side.

"I won’t tell you. Because of him, you’re not opening up to my son. You’re only thinking of taking care of that kid. It’ll be good if he’s not with you anymore. Then you can pay attention to my son."

Silas glanced toward Theron like, What is your mom even saying right now? And his temper was rising.

He was talking to her calmly because she was the Queen of the pack, but as she kept talking, he was losing his temper.

"Excuse me, who are you to decide what I should do in my own fucking life, man?"

"Silas, calm down," Theron said while standing beside him.

"How can I calm down? Didn’t you hear what she just said? She’s saying she sent Velric away so I could open up to you. Is this some kind of joke?"

Theron grabbed Silas’s hand to calm him down.

"Mom, where did you send Velric? And how could you send that little kid away like this?"

But she made a face like she didn’t care whatever they were saying. She had done what she thought was right.

"Why are you getting so worked up, Silas? It’s not like he was your own kid. He was someone else’s. No matter how much you love someone else’s kid, in the end, that kid is only called a bastard. Nothing more."

"Shut up! You don’t have any right to call Velric that. This is—this is how you take care of him? You were saying to me last night that you have four sons and know how to take care of kids? Did you throw your own kid away like this too?"

Now, when Silas talked about her son, her face became serious.

She was staring at Silas like he had said something wrong. Or like he shouldn’t have said that.

"Mom, you really did wrong this time. It would be good if you tell us where you sent him," Theron asked.

"No, I’m not gonna say it. Do whatever you want. And my dear, because of this guy, I totally forgot that you were sick."

She quickly rushed forward and hugged Theron.
