Damon’s apology meant nothing to Silas, because he didn’t even blink after hearing it.

Lysander, who had been quiet all this time, finally mustered the courage to say something.

Silas smiled gently, but it only showed the bitterness in his heart for both of them.

"Lysander, I don’t blame you, because why would you trust an outsider like me? And that same thing applies here — why would I listen to outsiders like you?"

His eyes turned towards Damon while saying.

"I will terminate the contract no matter what, because I don’t want to work with people like you."

Silas turned around to leave after saying that, but they both knew that if Silas left now, everything would end, and they wouldn’t get another chance to talk to him again.

"Silas, I am ready to do whatever it takes for you to forgive me."

Lysander was determined, but Silas didn’t turn around and just got into the elevator.

As the doors were closing, he saw Damon and Lysander standing there like abandoned puppies.

Silas rested his back against the elevator wall while standing and pressed the button for his floor.

In a few seconds, when the elevator doors finally opened and Silas came out, he realized his mind had gone blank, like there was nothing inside.

While walking, when he came in front of the door, he saw Theron standing there at the door while Velric was inside.

Theron was probably worried about him, that’s why he was waiting.

Seeing him, Silas took a step toward him and directly hugged him without any second thought.

Theron didn’t realize what had happened, because all he could feel was Silas’s body pressing against his.

Still, he also hugged back, wrapping his hands around Silas’s back.

"Are you okay? Did they bother you?"

"Nope, but don’t bring them to me next time, because I don’t want to see their faces anymore."

Theron’s one hand started to pat Silas’s head. "Okay, whatever you say."

Silas was snuggling himself into Theron’s arms, and Theron picked up Silas into the air while holding him by his waist and came inside, locking the door without breaking the hug.

After coming inside, Theron finally hugged him tightly, bending down and resting his head on Silas’s shoulder while hugging.

Just then, Theron felt a grip on his leg, so he broke the hug and looked down.

It was Velric, who was standing at his leg while grabbing it.

"Papa, Mumma, you are both hugging and leaving me behind."

Theron chuckled and picked up Velric with one hand and hugged Silas with the other.

For five minutes they hugged and didn’t leave each other, and after that, they finally broke the hug.

Theron put Velric down while glancing at Silas.

Silas’s cheeks were red because he was blushing after hugging Theron.

Theron also smiled, and after that, he went into the kitchen and came out with food in his hand.

Silas was shocked seeing that because there was no food inside the kitchen, only frozen food.

"Where did you get this, Theron?"

"I had brought this and hung it on your door. I knew you both must be very hungry."

They all ate together, and after eating, they were watching TV while sitting in the living room.

Velric was sitting on Theron’s lap, but after a few minutes, he fell asleep, so Silas gently grabbed him from Theron’s lap and took him into the bedroom, coming out after putting him down on the bed.

He closed the door after coming out.

Theron was looking at him while turning off the TV. Silas was still wearing the same outfit.

Theron’s eyes were a little strange, like he would eat Silas, which made Silas nervous, but still, he went to him.

"Velric enjoyed the food and your company too."

Saying that, Silas was about to sit down on the other sofa, but before that, Theron grabbed his hand and pulled him beside him, which made Silas flinch, but he didn’t dislike it.

"Theron, what are you doing? Velric is still sleeping inside."

Silas was hesitating after hearing this. It’s not like he was going to reject Theron, but he knew if he said yes right now, Theron would take a step ahead.
