Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 248: Training base - 9
Chapter 248: Training base - 9
Silas’s POV
So I was running with all my might. And hearing me, they also realized—Ren, Liam, and Lysander—that I had cheated.
But they couldn’t do anything ’cause the race had started.
They all started running, but luckily I was ahead.
Because of my height, I didn’t think I’d be a match for Lysander, but since I pushed him aside, it was simple for me.
I was a little away from the gym when Lysander went in—he was first.
How did he run so fast? I went inside after him, still second.
Then Liam came in—he was third. And the person who came last was Ren.
Ren literally fell down on the floor on his own. I think he was ready to roll around, seeing that.
"I am dead... I am so dead. Please help me get up."
"No, Ren. Don’t forget the bet of this race. You have to roll around the floor, so stop slacking off and finish your punishment," Liam said.
I was like, what are you saying, dude? He’s your partner. Instead of taking his side, you’re telling him to finish the punishment?
I stepped forward and gave a hand to Ren to help him stand up. Of course, his own partner, Liam, wasn’t going to help him.
I mean, they don’t know each other at all. They’re both from different packs and became partners here, but their chemistry?
It’s fire! For a moment, while watching their act, I thought they knew each other for a long time—but no, that was their first time acting together.
I wish Lysander and I could act like that. Even though we both nailed it together in my first drama, I’m not sure about this one, ’cause there’s much more competition. I’ll have to brace myself.
"Are you okay, Ren?" Liam asked.
Now he’s asking? Just a moment ago, he was telling him to finish the punishment.
"Thank you, Silas. You’re the only one whom I love. I love you."
I chuckled hearing that, but just then, Lysander pulled me behind by grabbing my hand. He was staring at Ren.
After that, we exercised, and while doing exercises with many people, it seemed fun. It had been an hour, and I wasn’t tired at all.
When the exercise was done, a few choreographers came in to teach us, along with other group trainees.
They taught dance for four hours. Everyone was shaking and trembling, but they had no choice but to keep dancing.
After four whole hours, the choreographers finally left, and one by one, the trainees went back to their dorms.
Training was over for the day. It was already evening—we didn’t even realize how time flew.
But when everyone was leaving, I was still there, dancing.
’Cause of course, I have to become perfect, and I know I’m not gonna become a perfect dancer in just one day.
"Silas, let’s practice tomorrow? Let’s go now. Everyone’s tired, I’m sure. You’re more tired than anyone else because you’re injured," Lysander said while wiping his sweat.
"Do you think I’m some kind of weakling? Huh? How can you say that? I’m not tired at all. I want to practice. I want to become better."
"And Lysander, please go back. I want to practice alone. Don’t stay here just because of me."
Because I knew if I didn’t leave, then Lysander was also going to stay here with me—and I didn’t want that.
He looked tired, so he should rest. He shouldn’t force himself to stay just because of me.
I forced Lysander to leave. Ren said he wanted to stay with me because he also wanted to practice, but his legs were shaking like he couldn’t even stand properly.
Liam gave him support to leave. So how could he stay?
They all left. I don’t know how many of us were still in the main building, but yes, in the gym, it was only me.
I was there, dancing. While dancing, I was making sure my body could move the way the choreographers taught us.
While I was doing my dance moves, suddenly, the door creaked open.
As the sound reached my ears, I quickly glanced at the door.
Of course, I was alone, and the door was opening—it was kinda creepy.
"Who is it?" I asked. It was already night.
And just then, Damon stepped inside. My eyes first caught the glint of his black leather shoes as I held a pose—my right hand lifted gracefully into the air, fingers curled like I was reaching for something distant, while my left hovered beneath my chin, framing it like I was presenting myself to an unseen audience.
I was still in that pose when he came in. I relaxed myself and stood normally.
I had been a little angry at Damon earlier for not giving me a chance to act—but not anymore.
There must be a reason. I can’t stay angry at my own mentor.
"What are you doing here, Mr. Damon?"
"I was heading back when I saw the gym light was on. I wondered who could still be here. I knew all the trainees had gone back to their dorms, so I came to check—and I found the beauty dancing here."
"Don’t say that, Mr. Damon. I was just practicing."
"Yeah, I can see that. And you were doing very well. I didn’t know you were such a great dancer, Silas."
Just then, he suddenly grabbed a chair and sat down. I thought he would leave after seeing I was practicing—but nope, here we go, he was sitting. How am I supposed to practice now?
"Mr. Damon, aren’t you leaving? It’s already evening."
"Don’t worry about me. I’ll just stay here to see your practice. Don’t mind me and continue what you were doing."
"How can I practice when my own mentor is sitting here? Please, Mr. Damon, leave."
I know I sounded rude, but if he stayed, I wouldn’t be able to practice. That’s why I had to muster the courage and tell him to leave.
